The Canadian Brewhouse (Barrie) – A Surprisingly Amazing Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We decided to swing by The Canadian Brewhouse in Barrie for a casual dinner and walked away incredibly impressed. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was super welcoming, fun, and energetic. The decor is fantastic — you can spend your whole visit looking around at all the cool signs, sports gear, and quirky touches that give this place its unique character. It really sets the tone for a lively, feel-good meal. And then there’s the food — wow! Every dish exceeded our expectations. We kicked things off with the spinach dip, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. For mains, we went for their spicy southwest burger and the signature wrap. Both were loaded with flavor, cooked just right, and served hot and fresh. Generous portions, too — you will not leave hungry! Service was also a big highlight. Our waitress, Erika, was absolutely awesome — friendly, efficient, and clearly on top of her game. She answered our questions with a smile, kept our drinks topped up, and our food came out fast even though the restaurant was pretty busy. Overall, between the tasty food, top-notch service, and super fun atmosphere, The Canadian Brewhouse was a real win for us. It’s the kind of place you can come back to again and again and always have a good time. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and a great time!

Went for the steak night, food pretty good. Waitresses attention to detail was pretty poor. silverware was dirty and when asked for a new knife it took quite a while to get a new one. The place was not busy, maybe a handful of tables but plenty wait staff. it was quite a while as well to order our food. when I looked around I could not see any waiters or waitresses, until I looked in the kitchen, they were all standing in there maybe having a meeting? anyway... Steak was cooked to perfection and a little chewy, but tasty, the potatoes were horrible...They tried this new cheesy potato in a tin can thing. The potatoes were hard and the milk or whatever cream they used was a curdled from the heat. I was impressed they had Asparagus but could have used a few more minutes on the heat as well. I wish they would just go back to the same steak deal they had before.

Great atmosphere and venue but service was very slow Took an hour and a half just to get our meal and it was barely warm We had 2 kids with us which made the long wait even worse Arrived at 5:50 and got our meal at 730 The waitress was great and did her best to help us but obviously there was a problem in the kitchen with staff

Had a great patio Father’s Day lunch! The food was great and the drinks nice and cold! Chey and staff were very attentive- great to see everyone enjoy their day! 👏👏👏

We asked for a table on the patio and were seating inside in the dark bar area. There was a party of our size that walked in before us with no reservation and were seated on the patio, but we were not given the patio. We found this quite rude and unfair as they essentially took our reservation.

They checked our IDs let us in a few of us we're 18 then we got to our table checked IDs again then threw us out what a dump
