Food was amazing! But food service was rushed. Started bringing food before we ordered wine. It’s a Tapas style dining so they were always clearing plates which is fine except they would leave some dishes behind that they should have picked up right away like the finished intermezzo dish, which remained on table until almost the end. Not a big deal except for the $500 price for 4 adults, I expected a higher quality of service. Next time when we go I would be sure to watch the servers a bit closer.

The view, the setting, the energy, the food and the service were all top notch. We very much enjoyed our dining experience and the meats were amazing melt in your mouth good.

Food was excellent but service was mediocre. We were there to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary and have loved our previous experiences at Jose Andres restaurants, but this was disappointing. Our server basically wrote us off instantly and we felt rushed to finish dinner. It soured the mood for sure. Will not be returning to this establishment but still a fan of Jose.

We had such a great time for our second visit here! Friendly and genuine interaction from the hosts on the way to our table, great support staff clearing tables, running drinks, etc. Knowledgeable and super friendly service from our server Gabriel (the kind of guy who can hold a real conversation while he's preparing a table side drink, for instance), willing to accommodate special requests, etc. Then, on top of that, the food is really pretty outstanding. It's certainly not inexpensive, but when you get the rare chance to "ball out" at a nice steakhouse, you want to be able to trust that you're going to get the full experience you're paying for, and this place does not disappoint. The Philly cheesesteak bites are really unique and an awesome and satisfying start, steaks are perfectly cooked (we had some medium rare lovers and some who preferred medium, Gabriel said they could split the difference with medium rare plus and they threaded the needle perfectly), Brussels sprouts were steamed or blanched leaves that still had a beautiful fresh crunch to them with a bright citrus foam on top, a nice departure from the ubiquitous deep fried or hard roasted varieties we are all used to and a perfect accompaniment to rich steaks... It really was actually more than I expected from a "celebrity chef" outpost in downtown Chicago, two times!

I am not one for reviews, but between the service and food at Bazaar, both were exceptional and I have to send a note! My wife and I are familiar with Jose Andres being from D.C. so we were excited for the dinner! We ordered the Meat Experience with a few enhancements and the wine paring. By the way, one of the best wine pairings we had while we were here. The food was beyond exceptional. The team took great care of us explaining each dish along the way as well as the accompanying wines. Beyond the food, the team at Bazaar were fantastic! Paula made our dinner memorable from the moment we sat down. Paula truly owned our experience to ensure it was fantastic and suggested different add ons she thought we would enjoy. Big, big, thank you, Paula! We also got to connect with Martin one of the managers to share about experience. Again the food and team were both excellent and we cannot wait to return! 10/10!

We loved Bazaar Meats. While a bit pricey the food was outstanding and the staff very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We will save our money and go again!

Have been to Bazaar Meats in Las Vegas and have wanted to try it in my home town. Did not disappoint. Service, food and value were outstanding. A must and a regular go to for me.

Everything was WONDERFUL except for one thing: the pacing of our meal. A small mixup with my reservation was handled smoothly and cheerfully. We were given a quiet table for five in a corner of the beautiful dining room, with outstanding views of the river. Our server assured us that we had plenty of time for the tasting menu (we had a ballet at the Lyric Opera House in 2 hours). Every dish was absolutely delicious! But the pacing should have been better. The first three courses arrived too quickly. Then there were long gaps between courses. We were quite rushed at the end of our meal, and barely made it to the Lyric Opera house in time. I wish I had followed my original plan to stick with the theater menu, instead of allowing our server to persuade us to try the tasting menu. If not for the timing, this would have been a marvelous meal. I will still recommend this to my friends, just not pre-theater.
