Limited menu, expensive, long wait for a salad and a burger—not the server’s fault. All burgers are well-done and dry. Previous diner’s food on floor under the table, table was sticky and chipped. People at nearby table waited 2 hours for their food—and thought it was just fair. People at next table waited over an hour.

We were guests at Jasper Park Lodge as part of a tour. Our first night was included with our tour. The food was average at best. My husband and dining partner shared the tomahawk steak for 2. It was well done, chewy and very fatty. For $199 it was a disgrace. Dinner was over 2.5 hours long. The next night my husband and I ate there again as there were no other options. I ordered tomato flat bread which came out of the kitchen ice cold. I told the server and he took it back to be remade and he offered me another drink. The second came out worse than the first…ice cold and resembling cardboard. The server told us that there are issues with the kitchen and servers have complained to management. Several tables near us either walked out or sent food back. I was lucky that I had a granola bar in my room and that was my dinner. We were led to believe that Fairmont is a 5 star hotel chain, but the food here needs considerable improvement to raise its quality. This was not even equal to a one star experience.

A little disappointed. Not up to usual standards. Have been coming here for 30 years. The tables would have looked better with a table cloth. Music was loud and couldn’t follow any lyrics. Fish was delicious.
