   One of our best dining experiences ever! Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive servers; creative delicious food (tomato soup, prosciutto, asparagus & lemony vinaigrette, lobster club sandwich with peppery fresh salad greens, salmon on bed of leeks and fennel with saffron sauce…) A delightfully memorable meal.

   The wine pairing was an excellent experience. I had the mussels, they were excellent. The entrées were very consistent however a bit predictable.

   It was a pleasure to return to Treadwell for a unique dining experience with a curated wine pairing. Farm fresh local ingredients were used. Service was exemplary with attention to detail. It can be noisy inside.

   We had simple apps. It was all very tasty and visually appealing . The charcuterie board was very filling. It’s a sizable board for four to share with other appetizers. Very friendly and attentive staff and very knowledgeable about the wines. Would go back again !

   Arrived on time for our 8 pm reservation but were told that our table wasn’t ready and we were told to go to sister Bar in the Q Hotel. The option was to go to the bar or stand out in the rain- we obviously went to the bar, however no one came to take our drink orders. We waited another 20 mins before we got seated. We went back prior to being texted as it was taking too long. Issues with the food were multiple: - ordered 4 apps - mushrooms, burrata, mussels, prosciutto& asparagus - we only enjoyed one. The prosciutto tasted like mold. - ordered lamb and halibut. 2 of 3 lamb orders were extremely fatty and we had to return one to the kitchen. It was inedible. They replaced the dish with a tenderloin however it took so long that we had all finished eating our meals. One person received their meal at 10 pm so didn’t actually eat dinner at all. - when this brought to our server’s attention that the one person wasn’t going to pay for the meal she never ate, the server was surprised. She called over the manager who dealt with it, however the server and/or manager should have initiated the conversation and addressed the concern from the start. The sommelier was very good - he was observant and aware of the poor experience we were having. The server, on the other hand, was oblivious, not attentive, and unapologetic. At one point, the person seated beside us had to ask her to come to our table because she was rarely making eye contact or checking in. I’d like to add we choose Treadwell to celebrate our milestone birthdays because I have frequently gone there for over five years. It was an extremely disappointing experience.

   Our server was the best, the amazing chef took care of my wife’s vegetarian needs creating a special dish not just removing meet or eggs from a dish on the regular menu. Chef also prepared a vegetarian dessert, including vegetarian vanilla bean ice cream. She described it as the best vegetarian meal she’s ever had. My meal choices from the Price Fixe menu were also superb! Worth the price. Our favourite restaurant in Niagara Region!

   Overly aggressive with the reservation process: booked here with credit card guarantee, text message asking me to confirm I'm coming at 1 minute before my 2pm reso, a call 2:05 threatening to cancel my reso ( received while I was parking) if I didn't show by 2:10, restaurant was half empty on arrival. Lettuce in my sandwich was old and wilted, my wife's beet salad had one dark spotted beet that should not have been on the plate, attempts by wait staff to address questions about that were unconvincing.

   We had an amazing lunch at Treadwell! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic meal. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake!

    Courtney was an excellent server, the apps were good, the drinks were nice and the ambiance was amazing. Courtney made sure to explain everything to us as it was our first time and definitely made us feel welcome. This place is a must try if you're visiting or staying at Niagara on the lake.
