We were lucky to sit outside by the river and watch the boats pass by or stop by to pick up their delivery. Enjoying Chicago views on a beautiful afternoon at a great restaurant.

Michelle and Olivia provided outstanding service, and the entire experience was amazing. Make sure to book a reservation in advance; it’s totally worth it. We’ll definitely be back to Pizzeria Portofino!

                                                                          I was very excited for this reservation and was greatly disappointed. I had heard good reviews, but don’t know if I would go back. We had a bit of a wait time before being sat which is fine. However, it was so loud in the restaurant you could barely hear the other person speak. We were sat by the bar so we had people standing by us waiting for seats the whole dinner. The food was great though. I was also surprised that there was a restaurant surcharge.

                                                                          We were visiting from CA to celebrate my daughter’s sweet 16 and made reservations here. Every dish was delish, the ambiance and service. I had requested a river view and we for one really close so it was just right considering the rain came shortly after dessert! Ellie was our server and she was fantastic! She made sure the bday treat was extra special and even took our photos at rhe patio for a view which came out great! Thanks, Ellie! We love Chicago and we would love to come back to portofino’s to try other dishes someday.
