Food was cold, service was bad and just a weird place
Food was good, both had filets and they were very tender and cooked just right. Noise level was pretty loud, not much sound dampening on ceiling. Overall an enjoyable dining experience though.
The steaks are not near as good as they were in the other location. We paid $45 for an aged rib eye and it was just ...ok. I will not go back. If i'm going to spend $45 on a steak, i want to be 100% sure that it is going to be good.
The food was excellent! The atmosphere was incredible and the staff was very friendly. It was a little bit loud and busy, but that is to be expected on a game day! Overall a great experience, would highly recommend dining here!
Might be the best french dressing I’ve ever had. The Filet had a very flavorful crust that was very tasty. The NY strip in bourbon butter was amazing and the house margarita was also exceptional.
Food was average. Steaks are over priced for this setting. Server seemed to need direction for everything, replenishing drinks, fresh napkins, etc. Overall, just an OK experience.
Great location in hay market area. Food was good. Ambiance could use some help. For what we thought was higher end steak house chairs were from banquet department in hotel. Top golf swing bays in the restaurant. More of casual atmosphere then true steak house. Bit pricey for experience.
The restaurant has changed names recently and is more of a sports pub than quiet dining. The menu stayed the same but they were out of many items. The food we had was good quality.
Great food done very well in a relaxing, casual environment. A fabulous place for a special night out with out having to be “fancy.”
This place was fantastic. We had the sampler platter of meat. It was sad it didn’t come with more sides considering it was made for sharing. The meats were all amazing but sides left much to be desired. The maple pepper grits tasted like they’d been sitting on the line and were pretty tasteless and the carrots undercooked. Despite this I would definitely recommend this place
Service was less than desirable - had to ask for water multiple times and it took quite a while for a waiter to come around and ask for our order. Food was good but not worth what we paid for it.
Great food and service. Loved the menu. Just needs a little more in the decor and lighting
Quick service on a busy concert night. Food & drink were excellent as was the service!
Food was mediocre at best. My pulled pork sandwich arrived with no sauce or slaw and server brought straight balsalmic vinegar for my salad. She disappeared after our food arrived and did not see her again to correct the errors. Ate here a few months ago and was very disappointed with the experience!
Excellent service on a busy night. The waiter seemed so relaxed and focused. Food was amazing. We will be back.
I frequented the Single Barrel at the original location for five summers when in Lincoln. My family and I looked forward to that ambiance. What we got was a hotel restaurant. Sad!
Great food and service
The bourbon selection is great. We had the NY strip which was cooked perfectly.
We dined on a Saturday evening. The place wasn’t crowded at all but was so incredibly loud we almost had to shout to hear conversation at our table of four. Interior is bare bones and austere. Felt more like a fast food establishment than a fine dining room. With that said, our food was excellent and the server attentive. Things came out of the kitchen in a timely fashion. If you are looking for a place to linger over dinner with conversation, this isn’t the place. But if you are just looking to eat and move on, the food is worth it.
Good food. Get The Stack with brisket; trust me. Excellent service. Disappointing decor.
No ambiance. Waitress brought me Mac and cheese- but I had ordered a Caesar salad. We had to ask for steak knives.
No desserts? Not nearly as good in this location!!
I really don’t know what they are trying to be The ambience is extremely casual the prices say nice steakhouse. The food was substandard. The chicken was extremely dry but covered in butter the dirty rice was well cooked but salt was the only flavor. My husband had the house special steak which was nicely done but dripping in butter.
Decent service and good salads. Perhaps a nice place for a cocktail.
Love the new lication
The ribeye and filet were amazing. Our server was very attentive, and seated us in a section near the bar away from a large crowd which was pretty noisy. That would be my only negative as it seems there is a lot of noise; other than that, food & drinks were awesome. Will go again. Be sure to make a reservation.
Waitress took our order and brought us the check. Served by someone else Steak was barely pink for a Med rare. Had to ask for steak knife. Potatoes were crumbly and cold. Did not get water refills. Waitress brought check but left dirty dishes at the table. Was definitely disappointed for the price
The food was awesome. The wait for our food was lengthy. From the time we ordered to when we received our food was about 45 min. Our server was great. As with many restaurants currently, they appeared to be possibly short-staffed with a full volume of customers. My mom and I had the salmon, my husband had the steak au poivere and my dad had the BBQ combo. All excellent dishes.
They need to work on the decorating and atmosphere. The bananas foster bourbon was amazing!
The room was cavernous; the street noise was high; the walls lacked decoration of any kind; the service was friendly, efficient, and prompt.
Although the cement floors are like the previous location, the new one is much smaller and tables are close together, so noise level is much higher. Same great food, no ambience.
Terrible. Stale chips, mess hall style tables and chairs, brought me the wrong drink. Was going to buy a steak till I was seated at a tiny table with plastic chairs. We left before we even got our food.
We have ate at single barrel for years but tonight the food was awful. We had a salmon sandwich it was mostly lettuce and a tiny bit of salmon not even to fill half a sandwich. The sides were lukewarm. The hamburger was over done. The service was fine the place was clean but they really need to improve on their food like it used to be. They just moved into a new location and I don't know if that's the problem. We will give it one more try in a few months and see what happens.
Meat had a lot of gristle, sides were good. Our server was inattentive and it wasn't even a busy night. The outdoor traffic noise is intense we could hear engines revving and sound systems blasting. Overall it wasn't a good experience.
We were disappointed about the food our server was really nice but we wouldn’t be back sorry
The corking fee was outrageous and the portions were tiny for the value.
Great food and drinks, will definitely be back.
Wait staff was wonderful, friendly and attentive. Seafood nachos were 10/10- yum! Pork stack was WAY too salty. Furnishings seemed a bit worn I.e, the sofas at the entrances. Overall we had fun.
The service and knowledge of bourbon was great. Awesome food and selection.
Steaks were wonderful! They were cooked to order and of great quality.
Delicious barbecue. I heard that they butcher their own meat. Since we are a farm family, it was a testament of their dedication to quality that sounded most appealing. Their selection did not disappoint!
Great food, great service and accommodating to my allergies. Ambiance of the restaurant for date night was mediocre, but would be great for a larger group (when allowed) or for watching sports.
