Our food was outstanding, and our server Mike went out of his way to make my father’s 74th birthday wonderful with special touches throughout the evening.
Highly recommend the cheese and meat board for something fun and new to taste as a group. The agnolotti starter is also a must.
FYI, not a lot of vegetarian options, but the few they have are fantastic.
The food was wonderful and our hostess was very kind
Do not recommend this place. It was basically a buffet. There wasn’t much on the a la carte menu. The food was subpar and the service was slow. It’s a bachelorette party paradise. Less than impressed.
V good, 10/10 would recommend fam
We were there for Mother’s Day brunch. Food was okay; service was excellent; ambiance was fantastic; price was high. I would have preferred to order a la carte as opposed to the buffet brunch, but overall, it was an excellent experience!
Our first time having brunch here and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and our server Megan was friendly and efficient.
The Mother's Day brunch was exceptional. Stations were spread out throughout the restaurant, so it never felt crowded... plus there were items to order off the menu and brought directly to the table that were also included... no standing around while you wait for your omelet! A great experience!
The staff was amazing and made my moms mothers day amazing. Food was amazing. Had bottomless mimosas. Love the different flavors they had.
Sinema is a restaurant beyond any restaurant. We arrived there about ten minutes before our reservation. The host was so friendly! She said she really liked the spot that she saved for us, so we could either get another spot at that time or wait the ten minutes and get the spot they originally reserved for us. We opted to wait. We went to the bar and had a cocktail which the mixologist did an amazing job with. Then, we went to our spot, and it was great that we waited! It was in the perfect area, and great seating style for pictures. The food was exquisite! The steak frites and scallops were absolutely delicious. The alcohol here was also fantastic! Our server was so helpful as well. At one point, we asked her for some recommendations for things to do, and her recommendations were great ideas that we needed! Sinema is an amazing restaurant and the place to go!
Very good food but service was mediocre. We only received 100 points even though we had booked a 1000 point table. We would like this rectified.
Food was cold, table was not clean, medium steak was served rare and cold in the center. A once noteworthy restaurant is now not worthy of mentioning.
We loved the environment - it was cozy and not to loud. We also loved everything that we ate - our one thought was that the portions were rather small. We would definitely recommend. Also, be sure to check out the ladies restroom!
One of the best Brunches we have ever been to!! Food was excellent and so fresh!
Great overall but food that should have been piping hot wasn’t.
The service this particular evening was very slow (compared to other times we have been), but our server was helpful and attentive once we got one, and the food was delicious as always.
Waiter was fantastic!! But like a lot of nicer restaurants, the portions were very small. Too small for people with big appetites. I’d definitely go back for drinks and appetizers but probably not for a full meal.
Service was incredible and food was delicious. Would recommend to friends.
Michael provided great service; he had a great sense of humor and offered great advice on the menu. The food was exceptionally good. Lovely presentation of courses. Nice beer and wine selection. Very enjoyable dining experience.
The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are happy and taken care of. Truly a great dining experience.
Sinema used to be a favorite spot of mine. It had been a few years since my last visit, so I invited some out-of-town guests to brunch. The food was expensive for the portions and quality, and the bottomless mimosas had virtually no champagne in them (again, a bit too much money for the quality). It's a shame because the restaurant used to have some of the best brunch and cocktails around.
Amazing place! Brunch was best deal ever and delish! Highly recommend to anyone
This was our first time here and I can't wait to go back. We went for the bottomless brunch. I love how everything was set up spread out throughout the restaurant. It made for pratically no lines anywhere. We opted in for the unlimited Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's as well. Lots of choices to make the bloody Mary your own as well as different juices for the mimosas. Vanessa was our server and she kept our drinks full. Can't wait to go back.
Sinema checks a lot of boxes for what a brunch buffet should be. The atmosphere is spot on, the staff is professional, and the food presentation is well thought out. It’s an experience you should have. Go!
Fabulous evening celebrating a friend's birthday! The food and service were excellent. I had the scallops and they were amazing! One of my favorite restaurants in Nashville that never disappoints. I highly recommend it! One of these days, I'll make it to their brunch — so hard to get a reservation, but I hear it is well worth it!
Ambiance was great and the noise level allowed for easy conversation. The food was outstanding! Very impressed with the bourbon collection. Will definitely return.
The food and service could not have been any better. We will definitely go back! 🍷🍷
Rebecca was great - food was great. Always love a good night out at Sinema. Cheese plate, Beet Salad, Avocado Salad, Yellowtail and Chicken Mole special.
Our waitress Rebecca, was very friendly and accommodating, she went over and above our expectations. The food was fantastic, we’ll be back for more.
We went to the “bottomless” Sunday brunch which is a a buffet. The stations were dirty and not well maintained. The service was hurried and we had to put our order in three times. Tables were left dirty all around us. A very disappointing experience.
Brunch buffet always out of food
Food below average
Absolutely amazing. The food was delicious. I had Wagyu, my wife had the Steak Frites and we shared their macaroon dessert. All was delicious, our waitress was absolutely delightful, their preparation for our anniversary was wonderful.
Went a few weeks ago and service was good, food was good - not excellent but still enjoyable. Went again tonight & it was bad all around. Table & chair had leftover food on them - this was at 5:30 pm. Water glass had food floating in it. Every item ordered was cold or lukewarm. Agnolotti - cold, short ribs with mashed potatoes - cold,
burger & fries - lukewarm,
steak - cold & very rare instead of medium. Manager removed two drinks from the bill, but we won't be returning. We didn't complain - sometimes you just know you won't be back again because the overall experience is bad and it's pointless to complain. Too many things for them to try and fix. It's unfortunate. Years ago when the original chef was there it was a much better experience, better quality, better everything.
Describing this as fine dining is somewhat misleading. We felt this was more like a gastro pub menu. That said, staff were attentive and informed.
Overall a pleasant evening out but not the mind blowing experience we expected.
There were 7 of us in a group for Sunday brunch. The bottomless mimosas was a hit. The services was good but the food was cold. We could order items from the kitchen for the table and all items were cold.
Most of the food on the buffet was good and warmer then the kitchen.
Overall good place but cold food.
Very disappointing! Saw this restaurant on list of best brunches in Nashville—not even close. Greasy diner food is what was served.
Went to Sinema this past weekend with friends and loved it! The food variety and quality was great, and our server Jen was OUTSTANDING! She refilled our mimosa glasses almost instantly without being asked, never pushed us to leave the table (and we stayed for 3 hours) and gave us great Nashville recommendations! The food options were both savory and sweet - our favorite were the biscuits and gravy which were the best we've had! Definitely have to make a reservation ahead of time because they fill up quickly.
Would I recommend? Maybe. But maybe was not an option, so I went with No. My party of 4 shared a cheese board as an appetizer. This was the highlight of our meal. Highly recommend the cheese board. 2 members of my party had hamburgers. When ordering the hamburgers, we asked about how the hamburgers were cooked (i.e., medium, medium-well, well done, etc) We were assured that the hamburgers were all cooked the same way as they were "pressed." One of the burgers came out perfect, the other was raw on the inside. Not acceptable at all for a restaurant of this caliber. Server was somewhat indifferent, and rather than replace the entire burger, they reheated the first one. Another member of our party had the braised short rib over mashed potatoes. Potatoes were wonderful, but short rib was dry. I had a dirty martini which was well made. French fries were very good. But main courses were a definite miss.
The shrimp was delightful remarked my dinner guest, and my snapper was very juicy and seasoned and grilled to perfection. Our server suggestions for the appetizer, Agnolotti, and desserts, banana foster and macaroons, respectively, were spot on. All parts of my first dining experience at the Sinema were immensely enjoyed.
Really enjoyed the experience and the food was great. The meat and cheese board was very well put together. I have had boards in numerous European countries and this rivaled some of the best I've had. I would have rated the food higher but my waitress asked me when I ordered the duck if I wanted it medium rare. I said of course and we joked is there any other way to eat duck. I was really surprised when it came to the table and was almost well done. I tried a piece and it still had a great taste regardless. I made a joke to the waitress about the chef murdering my duck. The waitress insisted we return it for a new one so I did. The owner and maitre d came over to sincerely apologize and discounted my meal as well as made a new entree and fairly quickly I might add. I wasn't even that upset about it. Overall a great experience with exceptional service (loved our waitress) and honestly food. Stuff happens and the fact that they made it so right made me want to come back here and recommend to anyone wanting a great dining experience in Nashvegas
Went for brunch, Hostesses attitudes/wait time (with a reservation) were awful! Our server was Amazing! Food was really good, but pricey...
