We went to Sinema to celebrate a special occasion. We had a private booth upstairs and were given a top notch server. Jeremy. He made excellent suggestions to the menu. The Scallops and Swordfish dishes are superb. We will definitely be going back.
The brunch was fun and cute. Nothing too extraordinary about the buffet food. But it was a fun vibe and a great get together spot for friends. Dinner there is way better. I wish they offered more specialty cocktails during brunch. But we certainly enjoyed the bottomless mimosas!
Had a great time. Super cool feel inside. Cole, our server, made sure we had everything we needed. Food was fantastic - loved the house cured duck and the dirty rice! From out of town but will be sure to visit again when I’m back.
Everything about this place was more than I could hope for. The aesthetics of Sinema are beautiful and add to the food experience. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious! We will return for sure and tell everyone else to go and experience Sinema for themselves.
Love Love Love brunch. Perfect for ladies afternoon brunch!
The food was really lackluster. There were five of us and none of us were happy with our meals.
Had a wonderful date night here. We were in no hurry so it wasn't a big deal that the waiter forgot to take our dinner order after the appetizer and wine was delivered. The server was super personable and we enjoyed his sense of humor. The food was amazing. We had scallops and steak after a cheese board appetizer.
The food and restaurant were amazing! But the service was awful. Our waitress with the red and blue dipped hair was very rude and unfriendly bc we asked her a few questions about the menu. Took 10 min to even have the waitress come to our table to order drinks, then when we ordered a second round it took her 15 mins to bring us drinks. She seems very annoyed with us. We were there for a friends bachelorette party and felt that we were treated very unprofessional. We ended up spending over $600 on food and drink and unfortunately bc of the TERRIBLE service we will all not be back, and we are locals.
The food was tasty, the service was terrible! Our waiter was condescending but didn’t know his stuff. I honestly can’t think of a quality I hate more in service.
Other than being placed next to the kitchen when we arrived with a reservation for our anniversary, with a number of tables empty (we asked to be moved and were accommodated); this was a wonderful experience.
The only negative, if you would call it that, is the high noise level for a low light-intimate restaurant; but that’s not the place’s fault.
Timing on all food and drinks was perfect, as was the swordfish and the scallops. The sausage appetizer was excellent as was the dessert selection and choice.
Mixed reviews here. The scallop dish was delicious. Branzino was very fishy, overcooked. Stone fruit salad was excellent, very creative. Desserts were great. Coffee was terrible, bitter and tepid.
The food was absolutely stellar and the service was sublime. Will definitely be attending again very soon.
This was a disappointing experience. We had dined here before with more prompt service and excellent food. This time we arrived after 8 pm and the restaurant was not busy for a Friday night, yet it took at least 10-15 minutes to get drinks, half an hour for an appetizer and 45-60 minutes to get our main course.
When it arrived, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce under-seasoned. We did not cook at home that night because we were tired, but we would have made a nicer dinner at home for a fraction of the cost (our bill for 2 people was $140).
My friend and I went for dinner on Friday night to celebrate both her and my birthdays which had occurred during the last 2 wks. I made reservations through Open Table and went right over. They were ready for us and we enjoyed our appetizer - fried oysters. I had a craft cocktail and it was lovely but make note Happy Hours deals are not available in the dining room. (?) Our meal was also very good. I had the Lamb and she had the New York Strip. :)
Unfortunately our waitress didn't believe in refilling our waters or iced teas during the meal until I finally asked. :(
Otherwise this is a nice place for an intimate dinner and great drinks.
I dined here with a party of 6 on a Monday night. We were having a great night and had received our 3 apps and a bottle of wine, when the power suddenly went out in the restaurant. The manager soon made an announcement that he did not know what was going on, but the whole strip had the power out -- he told us to sit tight and try to have a good time, they were still able to cook food with their gas stoves and our meals would still be brought out. We saw the chefs cooking our dishes with flashlights and we saw the wait staff running around making sure everyone had what they needed (in almost pitch black). Our meals came out and they were delicious. We were shocked how perfect our food came out in black-out conditions. Cole was our waiter and he was amazing!! We were so impressed on how they held it together with no power.
Good and service were outstanding! First chance I’ve had to come in and try Chef Patterson’s food since he has been Executive and I must say his menu is far superior. Couldn’t have picked a better place in Nashville to propose to my now fiancé! Thank you all for another outstanding experience with you!
This place is awesome and the food was great. We went for brunch and were extremely satisfied ! Definitely will be returning.
My family and I went here for brunch on a Sunday and it was amazing! Travis, our server, was unbeatable. While the food might be better and more fresh at non-buffet places, it was still amazing (particularly the pastries and waffles). Also the mimosas, though small, are delicious and frequently refilled.
Fantastic brunch, highly recommend!
We enjoyed our dinner at Sinema but for the price, we can get a better meal at the many other options in Nashville.
Our server, Mike, was very knowledgeable and added to our experience at the restaurant. Food and service was excellent.
Absolutely loved Sinema. First time here and I will definitely be coming back!
It was literally amazing from service to food to the beautiful venue!
Amazing food and experience. Will definitely go again.
I thought there were more levels to the facility than was evident when I arrived. What I read online about this venue did not line up with what I saw when I arrived. What saved the day was the food (although the portions are very very small) was good and the request I made (to acknowledge my sister's birthday) was made. Note: I asked them to sing happy birthday to her. They did not. But they did bring her out a complimentary birthday dessert.
It had been awhile- it had been so crowded other times that we could not hear. So early on a weekday works! It is a lovely place, great staff and ambiance, and now that we have learned the secret of when to go and not be in a crowd, we will be there more often. Great night!
We went with a group of 11 for brunch on a Saturday morning. The food and drinks were fantastic- I HIGHLY recommend getting the chicken and biscuits. Our server was personable and was very helpful in explaining how the bottomless options worked and making sure our glasses were never empty. They handled our large group effortlessly and even brought out a surprise for my sister, whose birthday we were celebrating.
My whole dining experience at Sinema was outstanding. I told my server I felt like it was Christmas because everything I ordered was absolutely incredible!! Incredible presentation, service, flavor & value...I will definitely be returning!
The food was amazing! The service was impeccable!
We had a great time with friends and enjoyed the food and cocktails.
My wife's and my meal at Sinema on August 22nd was wonderful. The oyster appetizer and scallops entree were both delicious. We had the cheese plate appetizer for dessert and enjoyed that also. Our waiter, Rory, was very helpful in choosing a white wine and provided outstanding service throughout.
We went for Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. The buffet was great! Fried chicken was amazing! Waffle bar had everything you could think of. Unlimited mimosas and bloody Mary’s were a great deal. Would highly recommend! Make sure to check out the bathroom- it was awesome!
Our server, Ashley, was incredible. We took our 13 year old son and he’s a big foodie. She didn’t make him feel like anything less than a valued part of our party. The food! Oh my word! It was incredible. I had the branzino and it was honestly better than the branzino I had in an Iron Chef’s Restaurant. My son had the duck and it was sweet with some heat and was so tasty. My husband had the scallops and they were very good too. We had the tartin flight and the beef tartar was amazing in that and we had the angnolotti pasta. We highly recommend this place for a nice night out.
We went there for brunch. Food was good but not as good as we were expecting based on the reviews I had seen. The restaurant is way too loud, you can't hold a conversation.
Sinema has made some changes to the bottomless brunch. The first time my husband and I ate here the food was amazing. This last time was a disappointment. The crepes we ordered were terrible and a lot smaller, the omelet whas no cheese. Sinema changed the crepe and omelette stations and now you have to order from the kitchen. The new set up was horrible and the food does not taste the same.
So amazing the food was to die for and the staff were so friendly they even helped us find something to do after dinner. Also the prices were super reasonable.
I had heard about Sinema for sometime and finally decided to try it. The ambiance was great. The service was perfect. We started out with a charcuterie board which was a perfect choice. The dinner was the scallops which were perfectly cooked and served. I will be going back. Also, their drink menu is full of great choices so come thirsty and with a DD.
Food and ambiance is great! Our time was marred from waiting 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. They gave our table to another group. Then it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us. We were hungry and frustrated. Once we had our food we had more pleasant sentiments about the place.
Loved the movies playing on the walls!! The food was excellent! Although there are some poor reviews for service out there, our server Wes was the bomb!! Our mimosas stayed full & when he noticed our kitchen order failed to arrive, he was on it & the food was there in minutes. It was a great experience & I'm so glad we went!!
Given this place a few chances but giving up on them. Food is not worth prices.
