Rebecca and the entire staff were phenomenal! Thank you!
LoveLoveLove!!!! Food fabulous. Server, Cole, fabulous. Bartender, fabulous! Awesome all around!!!!
It was Father’s Day. Normally, I love Sinema; but we found the breakfast buffet nothing special. To be fair, I hate buffets and didn’t realize that the regular menu was being suspended for Father’s Day. The concept of “bottomless food” is lost on everyone in our party. Borderline off-putting, really.
On this day, the food was OK. Standard buffet fare. Not up to the Sinema quality we’ve grown to expect. The servers were haggard and barely keeping up. To their credit, they did a great job under trying circumstances.
We will be back. Just not for a buffet.
Ambiance was great. Food was decent, but not worth $35 a person, not including drinks. Would maybe be worth it for a large group that was hanging out there for a few hours.
I made a reservation for my birthday for 6 people and we sat on the second floor on a couch and it was lovely. Our waitress was very personable and helpful. Loved that The Godfather started playing as soon as we sat down! Will be back.
Service was very good - attentive without being overbearing. Food was excellent with appetizers to entries. Baked Alaska desert was good and one order enough to split between two people. We visit Sinema several times a year and never are disappointed.
Great food, service and ambiance. Although it was rather loud and a little hard to hear, so I wouldn't go here for a romantic dinner.
My wife and I went for my birthday and they do provide a fun complimentary birthday treat. Overall a great experience.
Our server was excellent! She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. Our meals were amazing and very unique! Can’t say enough good things!
We're already making plans to go back! Amazing food. I had the braised short rib, you honestly could cut it with a spoon it was so tender.
Food was just OK and hardly enough variety to be considered a good brunch!
A group of us went for Sunday brunch recently and it was the first time any of us had been there. We walked in to the scent of fried chicken, biscuits and gravy - what could go wrong!? Our waitress (I wish I remember her name) was attentive and fun. The food was not complicated (eggs, sausage, paninis, waffles, etc) but done well and very very tasty. For drinks, I got the bottomless mimosas and they were quick with the refills. My friends got the Puttin' on the Spritz cocktail and they both agreed it was tasty - refreshing and not overly sweet. I would have no hesitation with recommending Sinema to a friend and will for sure visit again!
Great food, great service and the bottomless mimosas were fab! Definitely one of the best brunch spots in town (especially since you can enjoy it on Sat and Sun). We will definitely be making this our regular brunch hangout with our friends.
The brunch was amazing. Well worth the price.
Great food. Great waiter.
Really nice place! enjoyed the atmosphere and the breakfast was good, just wish they had more choices in meat. I would definitely be back but I would probably just order something off of the menu instead of doing bottomless. I have already recommended to friends! Great place for a outing, date , special occasion, gathering with girlfreinds, etc.
We went for brunch and it seems to be a different experience every time we go, lol! It was a bottomless brunch for $28 with the option to add bottomless mimosas or bloody Mary's for an additional fee of $15. The brunch was nice and included a biscuit with gravy and fried chicken area, fruit and patisserie area, a waffle station with too many toppings and a "basic" breakfast area with eggs, bacon, sausage, salad, and paninis! I definitly ate way too much but the food was good and I had endless mimosas (for that time!) Lol. There was also a "kitchen to table" menu u could order from which was included in the $28 (things like grits, chili rellenos, Denver or vege omelettes, etc). They also had the option of a la carte items as well. I'll definitely be back!
Fun atmosphere and food stations made this birthday celebration a winner! Highly recommend!
Our server Wes was wonderful and helpful!
My huevos rancheros were a bit of a soupy mess.
I always enjoy dining at this restaurant. My meal was wonderful, and the restaurant is quiet and relaxed. You can have a great meal and also enjoy a conversation.
Totally disappointed. Nothing like the website describes. There wasn’t a crepe station and the omelette station consisted of a choice of 4 vegetables, 2 meats and one cheese. I have more choices in my own refrigerator. The baked goods on the pastry station were NOT fresh. And, the bottomless mimosas were a total waste of money. They were juice heavy, served in very small glasses, and you had to wait for refills. At one point, there were two wait staff plus the bartender running around trying to fill the empties. Typically, a carafe is left at the table. Time would have been better spent picking up empty plates, refilling water glasses, etc. worst buffet brunch EVER.
My friends and I are visiting Nashville for the weekend and decided to do Sunday brunch. We opted for the bottomless brunch and did not regret it. There were so many options and everything was pretty good! I would definitely recommend the crepes.
The brunch was decent but nothing to rave about. The service was great and waiters were friendly. I specifically stated on my reservation that this brunch was a surprise for my friend and to make her feel special. No one ever said a word or acknowledged her birthday in any way. Very big disappointment! I also specially stated that my husband has back issues and to seat us at a table. The hostess originally tried to seat us at a high top table. After explained the situation she quickly found a suitable table and had it cleaned off. I was pleased and my husband was comfortable.
I found Sinema on a list of great brunch spots in Nashville, and it totally lived up to the hype! Highly recommend checking this spot out. The bottomless brunch menu is extensive, the food was always hot and fresh, and I loved the chance to try a variety of different things at my own pace. The buffet style means the food is ready as soon as you are, so we didn't have to wait long for food. The cocktails were great as well; we enjoyed cranberry and pineapple juice mimosas in addition to the traditional OJ. We sat upstairs, which was a bit more quiet, and true to theme featured Great Gatsby screening on the walls. I will definitely come back next time I'm in Nashville - it was absolutely worth it!
Great fried chicken and biscuits! I loved how they played the old movies too.
Celebrated my birthday. Bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's. Food was delicious but would have liked a bit more of a variety. The ambience was delightful! Staff was great although our waiter was a a bit forgetful.
It was the best part of my bachelorette weekend. Vanessa was absolutely AMAZING and catered to our table wonderfully. She was funny, down to earth, and respectful of everyone at the table. It felt as though I had known her for years. The ambiance was amazing because we were able to sit and drink even after we were done eating. It was extremely relaxed and we did not feel rushed whatsoever. It was amazing to catch up with my friends in such a charming spot while still having fun and being together. I loved every moment and I could not have been more thankful for SINEMA and Vanessa! It was absolutely amazing.
My friends and I had a great experience. My only complaint which isn’t really a complaint is our waitress could have been a little more attentive to us, but I realize they were short staffed that night. Everyone we encountered there was very personable. We especially loved the bartender (I think his name was Gary). We’ll definitely be back and bring more friends!
Excellent food and service - just be sure to ask what the market price is...
Elegant restaurant in a former elegant movie theater, Sinema is a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is delicious. Entrees are a la carte, but flavorful and quite filling. They have some unique house cocktails that are worth trying, along with a long list of premium whiskeys and wines.
The only downside is parking. There is open parking in front that is shared with other stores in the strip, so these fill up fast. Sinema offers valet parking, but for a whopping $7!
Best brunch ever. Had a table of five. Loved the ambience, food & decor.
We visited for brunch the morning after our wedding. The service was outstanding. The ambiance was great. The food was good; we just felt it was overpriced for what it was.
I took my mother here for their Mother's Day Brunch. The service was poor. My moms coffee was cold when they brought it to her, the food wasn't anything special and definitely not worth the $85 I spent! The cupcakes were horrible & hardly any taste. The bacon wasn't even cooked all the way. There was no signage as too what kind of muffins/breads/cupcakes were sitting out. My mom can't have nuts therefore she didn't know if she could eat what was out. My mom asked someone who worked there what kind of muffins were out & he couldn't even tell her! With all the different food allergies that people have you would think you would have signage out to let you know what your eating. I mean you had signage out for the gravy, bacon, eggs (you know all the stuff that you can actually tell what it is) The regular drinks weren't included in the brunch price. Also, the waitress didn't tell us up front that the drinks were separate & that there weren't free refills. I was just trying to take my mom somewhere special and different , but I was really let down. I will never return nor will I recommend to anyone.
The avocado argula salad was delicious. The trout could have been served while warm. It was not that good.
Loved the atmosphere and the server and manager were attentive.
Ambiance here is awesome, great setup with lots of options for brunch. The a la carte items were delicious and the fried chicken/biscuit bar is delicious! I do t think my glass ever got empty before our waiter was back to refill our bottomless mimosas! Definitely worth it!
We were really excited to come to Sinema’s brunch. Overall it unfortunately didn’t meet our expectations. The bottomless brunch options were good on paper. The basics of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, etc were really good; however, the made to order menu items were very disappointing. We had the blueberry cream cheese crepes and spare rib. The crepes literally had a spoonful of straight cream cheese with whole blueberries in it, it wasn’t spread through the crepe and there was no prep for the filling. When I took a bite, it was like eating a spoonful of cream cheese. The spare rib was so chewy that my husband couldn’t get the meat off, even with his teeth. Overall just not what we were expecting for a special brunch out for his birthday, and for the price. I will say the ambiance is really nice, the staff were great, and my husband LOVED his Bloody Mary!
Wonderful anniversary dinner! The appetizers and our meal we're incredible! We couldn't have asked for a better date night!
The place was absolutely amazing. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. I went there for my birthday and loved everything about the place. The food was delicious and the wine and cocktails to die for. Worth every penny. I will be coming back!
While the food was fine, for the rather pricey cost ($28/person), "regular" beverages (i.e. coffee, tea, juice) is not included and added another $4 for coffee and $3 for tea to the bottom line of the bill. Most brunches include those types of beverages as part of price. Additionally, our server was more concerned about paying attention to the larger groups that were primarily taking advantage of the bottomless mimosas. We had to flag him down to get drink refills, order from the menu, and he never removed dirty plates. This place appears to be more focused on larger groups and a younger crowd. I can say I have gone but most likely would not go back.
Got great reviews beforehand. Overall it was pretty good but was hoping to be wowed a bit. Wished we would have been seated upstairs - better overall feel. Service was a bit slow. Food was really good overall.
