Love this place! Great food. Great staff. Rebecca was awesome and super knowledgeable.
Great venue/ old movie theatre. Nice ambience. Good food and service. Relaxing
Glamorous setting. We went on a Tuesday night but it might be more hopping on the weekend.
My wife and I had a wonderful time with their tastings menu. We got five small courses which allowed us to try a number of different things and we really enjoyed it. The waiter has been there for years and he was very enthusiastic about the restaurant, the food, and the people that make it run. He made the experience more fun and engaging.
Patrick was the most attentive server with the best personality!
We celebrated our three year anniversary and it was such a great experience. Our waitress was so nice, helpful and attentive. We did the best of the best tasting and every dish was just so amazing. The agnolotti and the scallops were our favorites! We will definitely be visiting again!
The ambience, service and food were all top quality. I have a nut allergy and wanted to order the tasting menu. The kitchen was very accommodating: they offered me two choices of alternative desserts.
Our server Danielle was fantastic and made the night.
Half the party loved their food - the other half did not. Service was great!
Wonderful service and food!
Sinema had great food and staff. Definitely come for the dinner and get the short rib or pasta.
A little loud but a really cool interior and great vibe. The music was eclectic and fun and everyone in my group commented. Service was fast and efficient and they were able to accommodate some additional folks who showed up unannounced. Food was great and flavorful with carnivore and vegetarian options. Wish we had done the tasting menu and will probably give it a shot next time.
Good experience and food will be back again thanks for great service
Birthday Brunch it was a nice restaurant the food was amazing. A little slow to get “brunch” adult beverages but other than that it was great
Our waiter Christopher was the best! My friend doesn’t eat pork and he was able to get her brunch items without pork. The food was excellent too! I’ll be back!
We enjoyed the bottomless brunch. All dishes were well efficiently delivered and well prepared, and the Chilaquiles stood out as especially creative. I would have thought the decadent Cinnamon Roll pancakes would have been illegal in Tennessee!
My date and I both ordered the short ribs, which were delightful. I could eat that dish once a week. The restaurant itself is beautiful and it was fun to explore afterwards. My only complaint is that the music was too loud. I don’t expect to spend that much on a meal and have to listen to bad pop music. The biggest problem with that was that we couldn’t hear our waiter when he was making suggestions or telling us about the menu. We were thankful that our waiter was wearing a mask, but it made it so that we couldn’t read his lips. Other than that, we had a lovely evening and will be back.
We got the 5-course tasting and loved it! Everything was delicious and I enjoyed having the wines paired for me. I got to try so many different things. The cost was a little high so it would be a rare indulgence but I loved it.
The food was amazing but microscopic. Go if you're dieting, but still hope to run up your credit card.
Great experience! We went for a girls night out. The food was delicious and the service was awesome. We had the bread, scallops, and short ribs- it was excellent. I will certainly come back. Great place for a night out.
Came for my birthday. Service was great. Our server was nice and paced our meal just right. One of our sides came out late but most of our food was great. Some portions were on the smaller side but overall I liked it a lot.
Food was okay, Service and ambience were nice
Great service and fabulous food!! Brunch is still being served, but fresh from the kitchen to table. No need to get up! Service was wonderful with plates and glasses always full!
Our party had a wonderful time!
Sinema no longer allow customers to box what is left over. With that being said, paying $40 for a bottomless bruch and what you can’t eat you can’t take… which takes from the value of the meal. Great food though
Food, service and ambience were excellent as usual
Went here for my wife’s 30th birthday. Very cool place! Food, atmosphere, and service were top notch. Highly recommend!
Long wait, food good big crowd.
Overall, we did not feel like what we received was worth $125 a person. I would have priced it at maybe $75 max. The price with the wine pairing included should have been $125, not just the meal. All we got was a single arancini ball, a plate full of arugula that was seriously lacking in toppings, two raviolis that didn’t even have any lobster inside them, a maybe 4 oz filet, and a chocolate dessert. We also felt that the service was lacking as well. It was very impersonal and we found ourselves having to wait for the waiter to walk by to flag them down for things. As a server of 5 years myself who has worked many NYE nights, (and whose S/O is an assistant F&B director with over 15 years of restaurant experience), we were very disappointed in the level of service throughout the whole restaurant. Whenever a new course was brought out, they simply said “here’s your next course” and walked off every time. No one took the time to explain the ingredients in the dishes and had we not had the tiny menu descriptions on the table then we would have had no idea what all was on each plate. If I’m paying that much for dinner then you should also be making sure the service is appropriately matched. The food itself tasted good, but it was definitely not a $400 dinner, which is extremely disappointing considering it was our first time eating here. Maybe regular dinner here is worth it, but we won’t be back for any special occasions.
Great 5 course meal for NYE. Only complaint is the salad for the second course was a little disappointing in presentation- arugula was a little wilted. Great ambiance and service!
Our reservation was at 8 but the table wasn’t ready until 8:30. And it took until almost 11 to be served all five of our courses. The only part of the five course menu we liked was the main entree filet. Everything else was just “ok”. I was excited about the desert and that wasn’t even very good. Overall, the ambiance was the best part of the evening. Everything else was subpar. Maybe it’s just because it was NYE so it might be worth a second chance
New Years Eve
Very good food, though a limited selection. Cool concept but should be able to see the movie from the dining area.
We have enjoyed Sinema several times this past year for date nights and brought our older kids for the holidays. Every dish from the appetizers to the dessert was beautiful, creative, and absolutely delicious. The customer service can't be beat! This is our favorite spot in Nashville!
Food was not worth the price. Service was good, atmosphere was good. I’d go elsewhere. Far better in Nashville.
Lovely place to spend an evening. Lavish, yet subdued, the food is astounding and the service was remarkable. Amanda was great to us and we can't wait to come back!
Celebrated our 30th anniversary. Food and service both top rate.
The atmosphere is really nice but it’s just so cold you can’t truly relax & enjoy yourself. I felt our food got cold quick because it was so cold. This is my 2nd time going and it was just as cold the first time. We felt rushed just to get out of there. Our waitress was fabulous and very attentive.
Sinema was a great celebration for our anniversary. While the chicken was a bit stale due to being prepared quite a while before being served, the rest of the food was great.
The server we had was excellent!! He kept the food flowing from start to the end. Bravo Zulu to him!
This was the first time I’ve been to Sinema for Sunday brunch. Planned this one for Sunday after Christmas which was perfect. Although it was a bit different because of Covid they’ve done an amazing job accommodating. Food was absolutely amazing. Service was perfect. Love the throwback retro vibe. Will absolutely be back again.
