SINATRA – Encore at Wynn Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
For the price, Sinatra was good but not elite. Extensive wine list with a 3x markup. I brought it a bottle of a 1997 Solaia and paid the $50 cork fee rather than pay the $955 (gulp!) for a 2008 vintage of the same wine from the restaurant.
The $19 Polpettine (shrimp) appetizer was slightly overcooked and bland. The $53 Osso Buco was good but not exceptional. The $58 Veal Parm was very, very good.
If you're looking for good Italian at Encore/Wynn, Sintara is nice. I still think Carnevino is better.
We went to Sinatra before seeing the 8pm Harry Connick Jr. show. We were seated in a small room with only 4 tables so it was pretty quiet. The waiter was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He recommended two dishes and we each ordered one of them. We were not disappointed. The only shame was the portions were quite large, and since we were vacationing we were unable to do anything with the leftovers. The pace was not rushed and the timing was perfect to go to the show after dinner. We had an excellent dining experience at Sinatra that nicely segued to the concert.
This is our 4th dinner at Sinatra. Each visit brings new finds and always impeccable servic and amazing food. We waited a bit for our table, but that was because we requested a window table. When we were seated, Russell took very good care. We started with an antipasto tray that was fresh and delicious. We had the osso buca and the sea scallops. The sommelier listened to our requests and delivered a wonderful wine. On this visit, there was a higher level of ambient noise in both the bar and dining area so we were not able to hear the background music, that was our only less than perfection point. Even we left our glasses on the table, the hostess call immediately to let us know. Once again an amazing evening.
Had a fabulous time at Sinatra! The service, food and atmosphere were impeccable! Our hostess gave us choice of two wonderful seats and our waiter, Eric, was exceptional! The food was fabulous! We had the branzino and veal parmesan! Wonderful memories with our special friends! Thank you all for the great experience!
We booked Sinatra based on a search we did for restaurants with ambiance. This was supposed to be one of the best. The food was good, but I have had as good or better at other Las Vegas restaurants and the noise level was so loud I could not even hear any music. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant so it did not meeting my expectations.
We had a nice table facing the whole room and were able to sit on the sofa side, so that helped. The food was outstanding. My wife had the halibut. It was a very thick piece of fish yet cooked to perfection. Not sure how they did that. I had the lasagne. Not the best I've ever had, but still quite good and it went well with a nice glass of Black Chicken Zinfandel. Noise level was a bit high due to 2 different large groups of loudmouths seated near us. Beautiful restaurant, good food and service. High prices, of course. Overall, a very pleasant experience. Go to Sinatra instead of the SW Steakhouse, which was pretty bad for us last year. Maybe they've gotten better, but we couldn't risk it this year.
Consistently excellent food and service - doesn’t Get any better than that!! And the veal chop parmigiana is unique, can be cut with a fork and is absolutely fabulous - come to think of it, we’ve eaten there whenever we’re in Vegas and I can’t rememberevrr ordering anything else!!
We had a late reservation and didn't want a lot of food late at night so did not do the menu justice. We ordered the Cioppino and scallops with mushroom risotto, both of which were excellent, but without starters or dessert.
We found the room very comfortable, but want to particularly note the superb service. Our server was knowledgeable, and very friendly while totally professional.
We will definitely come back, hungrier next time, and hope to get the same server again.
The ambience was okay, not retro swanky like I had envisioned a restaurant with Frank Sinatra's name should appear. We were sat in a booth that attached to the server's station which was very inappropriate as we had to hear their stressful conversations. Service was fine, nothing notable. Food was mediocre at best; the pollo (chicken marsala) was actually rubbery and disgusting, seemed like something you would get in the cafeteria. Shrimp scampi was unremarkable, panzanella salad was good, cioppino was passable. The hit of the night was the gnochetti...it was DELICIOUS. Wines by the glass were subpar. I do not blink an eye at spending hundreds, if not thousands on a meal if it is delicious, but this was a lot of money for next to no satisfaction.
