I had a wonderful night with my guests on my birthday. All of our wants and needs were met with a smile. ♥️
Fun place ad great experience. Really professional staff.
It was really good didn’t have room for dessert
Everything was exceptional on the night we went Aug 14, 2019. Best service and so glad that the gorgonzola salad is back on the menu. Yum!!
Absolutely a great experience. It’s expensive but well worth it for the quality of the food and the overall experience. Would highly recommend this restaurant for an nice night out or for a special occasion.
Well, it was my first time here, as I heard how good the fondue was - and I had been wanting to go for a very long time!
Here’s the positive - fondue was fantastic - service was great.
The negative was that I didn’t expect to cook my own food - I went with my family to celebrate my birthday. I’ve been to other bbq places with a similar thing, but the meat cooked very quickly. Not the case here. The last thing I wanted to do was cook - and PAY to cook to boot! My thumb got burnt on one of the pots, and the other burner wasn’t hot enough, so I had a complaining family about how long it was taking, was it cooked completely, etc. etc. Just like at home 😬
Would I go back, sure - but only for appetizers and dessert. No desire to go back for dinner.
My only complaint was that I came home smelling like fried food. The cook top was constantly smoking and the ventilation wasn't great over our table. The service was great and the food is tasty, as always.
Service was terrible almost 3 hours for food
This is very expensive (food and drinks) and wasn't very good. Too salty and not enough food for the money and we aren't huge eaters. We came here for a birthday and weren't impressed. Our waiter was very nice but not overly attentive with regards to making sure if our fondue pots were where they needed to be. Overall disappointed and wouldn't recommend it. For the money and fun factor - hot pot is a better deal and is tastier - based on all my kids and the 3 adults.
Food is always excellent! Service great! Little on the pricey side for what it is but always a good experience !
Great dining experience. Love the food. Our server, Jacob, was friendly and attentive.
This is one of my favorite restaurant ever!! The only thing I would complain about or change, is the bowls the bread/veggies/sweets come on. They always tip over when grabbing things. This drives me crazy every time I come in. I love the look of them but they aren’t very functional.
It was a very relaxing, yet romantic experience with my wife. I would highly recommend doing this at least once in your lifetime.
Sooooo much food! I felt like death upon leaving Simply Fondue, but it was totally worth it! Highly recommend!
Always a wonderful experience. And very accommodating.
Our Server was the best. What an unique experience. Everything tasted great. Will recommend to others.
A good dinner to celebrate a special occasion. They even gave the birthday boy a glass of champagne! The food was great and you can't beat their selection of martinis!
Even with reservation we waited 15 minutes and were seated after a couple with no reservation. Server was excellent, food ok, booth secluded and quiet.
Brought an out of town friend to her first fondue experience. Chocolate martinis, pepper jack cheese fondue and sea salt and caramel dessert fondue - she said it was fabulous! I enjoyed it as well even as a repeat customer who knew what to expect.
Great service and friendly staff, this was our 3rd visit!
Server seemed very rushed, when she left us with our food to cook on the grille the grill was NOT hot enough yet. Took quite a while to get it up to proper cooking heat to get a sear on the meat. We have a very private table, lighting could have been a bit brighter so we could see what we were cooking.
Hostess seemed determined to not let us be seated until 4:30 even though there were many tables open. When we were finally seated it was 15 minutes before we even got a glass of water. No smile no apology. At these prices a more cordial greeting and environment is expected. When I wanted to give our order to the waiter instead of waiting until he brought us water he seemed put out. I said we had been waiting a long time already and he said he had to make cheese for 6 people. Again no apology. No smile. The owners deserve better.
Good food , pricey though . Too much for the chocolate fondue per person... $50 for dessert for 4 people seems too much .
Go here 3 to 4 times a year. It’s now bottomless meat.
Excellent service, fun environment
It was a great experience, the food was good, the service was good. Over all it was great
Taylor was our server. She was very nice and friendly. She definitely took her time and explained everything to us. I’d recommend this restaurant and her especially as a server!
I've been to Simply Fondue in Livermore a few times for special occasions and it's always been a favorite. The service has never been anything but phenomenal, the food is always top notch and the experience is memorable each time. At least, it is until we get too far down the handcrafted cocktail menu!
We had 12:00 reservations on a Sunday, so it was nice and quiet when we arrived. We had the 3-course brunch with the salad, main course, and dessert. The strawberry and spinach salad was absolutely delicious. My husband and I do not always finish our salads, but because of the dressing, we finished all of it! The main courses were cooked in the traditional method. We had the tequila lime shrimp, herb pork, korean beef, tofu, bacon wrapped chicken, and fried chicken. We had 3 pieces of each meat. The meats were pretty good, but I was expecting a little more than 3 pieces for the price of the meal. We dipped the vegetables in the batters and they came out yummy, especially the mushrooms. With the 3-course meal, we still had room to enjoy everything but the kitchen sink dessert. The marshmallows and the pound cake were my favorite. We even got extra pound cake pieces after requesting a few more pieces. The marshmallows really picked up all the different flavors in the chocolate fondue. The noise level increased by the time we finished our main course. We also enjoyed a martini flight with our meal. My favorite martini was the chocolate and peanut butter martini.
It was a fun experience, a bit pricey but the food and ambiance was good.
They brought me a glass of champagne!!! With a candle!
Everything here is outstanding, only improvements are it is way too dark in the dining area and it makes it hard to see your food. It is also very smoky in the dining area so maybe having a way to keep the back of the dining area ventilated would help.
Always nice and the service was wonderful
We usually go there for the dessert fondue with the kids. It's so fun.. We have a great time and the service is awesome, and the food is good and fresh .
So good. The martinis are the best here. Huge selection.
First time here and we would definitely comeback. Danielle our server was awesome. She answered all of our questions, gave us tips, checked up on us regularly without being intrusive. We will be going back.
Came to dine for a Father's Day treat. Had a great time and our waitress was very accommodating. It was my husband's first time experiencing Fondue and he is looking forward to returning.
Father’s Day celebration
Had dinner in the bar and watched the game. Enjoyed all the different martinis!! Great time with friends!!! Great service!!
We went for dessert fondue only and LOVED IT!!! Was the best!! We will return again for dinner and more than likely again, for just DESSERT!!
