Celebrate Mom by dining at Simon Pearce Restaurant!

Absolute perfection. The food, the setting, the place settings. Everything is delicious and inviting.
We are never disappointed at Simon Pearce. Everything was amazing, as usual.
Food and service was excellent! Would like to see a couple of specials . The menu does not seem to change much and adding specials would give a larger choice!
Great seating overlooking the waterfall. Our server was top-notch. Very attentive and even took the initiative to bring over a small dessert treat for a member of our party whose birthday we were celebrating. A lovely surprise! Food was delicious. We will definitely be back.
One of our favorite restaurants!
When we are in VT., we always stop for dinner!
My wife and I visited the restaurant on a Saturday night during a weekend stay at the Woodstock Inn & Resort. Located above Simon Pearce's glassblowing plant, the restaurant makes beautiful use of the space, the view of the Ottauquechee River, and the waterfall that powers the plant.
We were greeted promptly on arrival. After being escorted to one table, the host graciously let us select another table with a river view. Our waitress was conscientiously attentive. And the food (my wife had duck, I selected lamb) was wonderful. And the dessert, a ridiculously delicious almond/raspberry tart served with locally made vanilla ice cream, would be worth a return trip even if nothing else were. We enjoyed the entire experience.
Wonderful and most enjoyable.........We will be back soon.
Since it was our first time, we went with the nightly special. That Saturday night it was venison tenderloin over polenta, grilled asparagus and a rhubarb-berry compote. The venison was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. The polenta was matched perfectly with the amount of protein, so if you wanted, you could have both in every bite. But the star of this show was the venison and compote together. Truly eye-opening when enjoyed together. Will definitely cross state lines in the future for an experience like that again.
We were seated promptly. Our table overlooked the falls and the covered bridge. The wine was excellent as was the food. Wait staff was friendly and efficient.
It never ceases to amaze us how wonderful and caring the staff are at Simon Pearce and how well the team communicates. We walked in and were greeted by one and all on the occasion of our anniversary dinner and it only got better from there on the service side.
The new menu items for the Spring are marvelous and the specials on the menu this evening were magnificent. And, as we often do, we placed our wine selections in the hands of our server, who delivered perfect pairings for each course.
Could not have had a better evening!
Cod gets better and better. The lamb is an excellent addition.
Always a wonderful meal and experience.
Overall the experience was very nice. Our table was right by the entrance so we were right in the traffic flow with all the noise and movement of guests. The waitress was great, very friendly and helpful, service spectacular. Food was very good except my wife's shrimp dish was overcooked and dry, though nicely seasoned. My cod dish was great! Desert, too was great. Top notch, with the exception of the shrimp. Will be back.
A first-class restaurant for special-occasion dining.
A rare date night with my wife. Food and Atmosphere are amazing as well as the beer & wine selection. The view is breathtaking as you sit atop a hydroelectric damn / waterfall that overlooks the Quechee covered bridge.
The menu is small, but everything is amazing. I always start with the Vermont Cheddar Soup. Tonight my wife had the Cod over potatoes and I had the SIrloin Steak over potatoes and broccoli.
The wait staff is knowledgeable & polite and our food was delivered within 25 minutes of ordering.
We highly recommend.
A lovely evening. Great food. Pleasant surroundings
Food was mediocre, Open Table showed no reservations open between 7-8:30, but the restaurant was half empty the entire night and with a restaurant full of empty tables they sat us (2 people clearly on a date, well-dressed) in the back next to a loud table of 2 families with numerous children. A real disappointment all-around.
Always a treat. Chef and staff helpful with dietary needs. Beautiful setting, beautiful views and the food is consistently wonderful. We dine here and bring our guests at least once a month since moving to this area 14 years ago.
Another great dinner at Simon Pearce! Love everything about this place❤️
My husband and I came here for our 1 year anniversary. It was amazing. We both love food, but this was the best restaurant we’ve been to in Vermont! The glass shop attached gave us the perfect opportunity to pick up memorabilia for the occasion, and the onsite glass blowers were fun to watch! Overall this was excellent! Not just the food, but the service and atmosphere as well.
Lovely evening good food and a very friendly responsive waitress
Amazing restaurant, always delicious and very consistent!
I have dined at Simon Pearce many times over the past decade, and love it as a venue for special occasions. I bring my children there because I know they make their food from scratch and with as much care as the gourmet food, and they eat every bite. Definitely the place for those who enjoy fine food. The desserts are fantastic, and the variety of home made breads for the table is always a treat. The new bar area makes turning up early worthwhile. All the staff are professional and friendly and the surroundings idyllic. My wish is that their amazing chocolate bread and butter pudding would reappear on the menu some time soon.
Amazing restaurant, everything was delicious, highly recommend
We drove down from Stowe to have dinner here and it was totally worth it
The food is fresh, interesting and well balanced
The service is charming
And the glass studio is an added beautiful bonus
This continues to be one of my favorite restaurants ever! I only had one course but it was spectacular! Three people at my table got the duck and it was so delicious! It was a generous portion with wonderful crispy skin and flavor. We also had a great bottle of wine! This place is great for lunch or dinner!
Delicious food. It was very crowded and service was s tad slow. But we were in no rush.
This was a memorable experience. The food was true perfection and the service outstanding. In no way an inexpensive meal, but worth every penny. Great wine selection at a reasonable price point. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for a truly special night out.
We were thoughtfully seated at a round table which was great for conversation with 5 of us. Service and food excellent as always, warm and friendly atmosphere, a perfect place for a special dinner.
Everything was perfect including the view. When I checked in at 5:30 I didn't realize that I had to line up at the door in order to secure a seat by the window. It would be nice if the host gave those instructions. In the end we did end up by the window and had a wonderful evening.
Been going to Simon Pearce regularly for nearly 30 years ... and it only gets better, if it’s possible to improve on near perfect. For me and my guests it’s always a joyous experience. And the entire crew is, for me, a notch above perfect!
Simon Pearce ambiance is always enjoyable. The tableware and use of Pearce's glassware makes it enjoyable, knowing the effort made on the handcrafted items. The food, at times, can be a bit lagging in high quality consistency. The beer and wine is always a pleasure.
Server was excellent
Incredibly beautiful! Food is amazing!! Get there early to get a table with the view of the falls! Cheese board was to die for and so was the sirloin!
It is not just a restaurant but truly an experience with the gallery, falls, and live glass blowing
And the food is outstanding
Simon Pearce is the best restaurant in the region, bar none.
Wonderful birthday dinner!
Excellent service and super friendly staff.
Food and ambiance, top notch..highly recommended!
The warm chocolate cake was excellent. Our friend who had the steak was delighted. I have two suggestions: plate the salad greens on room temp. plates, not on refrigerated plates, which feels harsh and like a chain restaurant. Second, I had the cauliflower & sweet potato. I thought it sounded like a great contrast - but the sweet potato which was purple, dry and tasteless was a big disappointment. A flavorful sweet potato to complement the cauliflower would have been much nicer.
Thanks! We always love eating at Simon Pearce.
Brother visiting we were a party of 8
2nd to none in the area. Thanks for a great night!!
