The food was amazing. After ordering my server told me that it was a spicy plate. I wanted the food since it was a combination seafood platter and requested that it be very mild. OMG - the food was amazing!
Simon's is the perfect place to celebrate spring's arrival. The restaurant was hopping on Saturday night, but as busy as it was, the food and service remained excellent.
Prime Rib was ordered medium rare and was medium/medium well. Flavor was very good though and service was above average although waiter was a little distracted with table next to us. Expect to pay for the reputation.
Birthday. Food was perfect although crab Louie I expect crab, maybe shrimp but not salmon. Just remember the old days I guess. Always enjoy the good though.
Excellent food; excellent service and lovely view of Mt. Susitna.
Great meal and service. Great place for a dinner meeting.
This place is always awesome. Service, food and drinks always on point. Love it!!
Steak was delicious. Potatoes were barely warm. Beautiful evening. Suggest someone keep an eye on the sun to see when the blinds can go back up so we can enjoy more of the view.
As soon as we sat down, I saw there was pepper on the bread plate. Then discovered more on the table next to the wall. Don't know what happened there! But they took care of it right away.
Great dining experience. I took the waiter's suggestion and ordered the fresh Halibut Cheeks with mashed Yukon potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious. Also started with the salmon bisque, which also was delicious. Will defiantly go back on my next trip to Anchorage.
S&S always provides great food and great service. Loved the ribs! Enough for 2 meals.
wife had to return the halibut cheeks .I think it was just a fillet not cheeks my prime rib was large but was cool for the temp and did not have a lot of flavor . Wife's replacement order of scallops was great and desert was great also
We love the sourdough bread and French Onion Soup (and wish you had it year-round for the locals!)
My favorite restaurant in Alaska, by far. Thank you.
Robin is excellent! Food and atmosphere was perfect.
Simon & Seafort's food is always top notch, another great meal.
Lunch out mid afternoon. Sat next to window with great view of the inlet. Food was very good. Lunch is certainly a great time for a reasonably priced meal at this restaurant.
We had a nice evening out, food was delicious, waitress (Kyle, I think) was exceptional. Will be back.
Sirloin is a little bit salty. Calamari is so tiny. Salad is awesome. Enjoyed the creme brulee desserts but not my main course.
Excellent as always!
Simons is still my favorite place for lunch. Great food and our server Robin is wonderful. I’ll try to avoid lunchtime during the week though, as it was much noisier than usual and made conversation difficult.
First date was awesome had some cool food I'd never thought I'd ever seen the view was awesome alaska is beautiful
This day just wasn't the day for my favorite dish to be cooked as perfectly as it usually is. I ordered the stuffed Halibut, it was over cooked and I received the beans cold. I don't want to tell anyone that this is not the place, today just was not the best day or it could of just been my plate. If anyone asks me to where to acquire great Alaskan Seafood, I will always tell them Simon & Seafort's! I'll will return for sure!
Food was good. Noise level a bit too much this time. I really don’t want to hear someone’s conversation behind me.
Very nice. I would love to come again. The food was fantastic!
My husband’s entree of salmon was over cooked and the portion was embarrassingly small.
I have an allergy to crab so that limits my options here. Amazing prime rib!
The only problem I had with Simon’s (and I never have a problem - been coming for over 35 years) was the Macadamia crab stuffed halibut. The halibut was dry and the stuffing was tasteless.
Beautiful scenery , nice lighting , great food and service .
Everything was quite good. Just below a 5 star.
You should offer 1/2 portions for people who don’t like to eat so much!
This was a special dinner for an out of town guest. One of the entree's arrived with a large lint/hair clump and was very detrimental to the entire dinner party to be able to finish our food. It was an uncomfortable situation for all. Although the staff apologized, and comped the entree (and two beverages), it would have been more appropriate and apology better received if the entire dinner for this entire dinner party was comped. I will completely inspect all food from this restaurant in the future, if I happen to go back. Given the price and expectation of high quality food and service; I will not be going back for quite a while. Very unfortunate.
Food was, as expected - excellent. Waiting staff were informative and friendly and the ambience was convivial without too much noise. Service was good and we didn't have to wait long for the food.
Our last night in Anchorage as my sister and I celebrated my 50th birthday. The food was delicious & accommodated my food allergies, and the presentation was nice. Overall good experience from all the staff.
We tried brunch with a visiting guest. We were offered a great table with view, great food. At brunch time the noise level was far less than at dinner times. We enjoyed all.
The ambiance would have been better if we had had a table where we could see the view.
Food good. Nice service. Make reservation to get right in....
While visiting Anchorage, our driver recommended Simon & Seafort's. She said "you'll love the waterfront view, try the Halibut Cheeks if they offer them - you'll have a great time!". I immediately reserved a table for that same night and we were not disappointed! The staff was attentive, the taste was an experience and the prices are in-line.
We’ve been dining aT Simon & Seafort’s for over 25 years, and have never been disappointed. The food, service and ambiance are always great.
Serving sizes are not that large. Service was fine. Good atmosphere. Food was pretty good. High priced for not a lot of food. Halibut definitely wasn’t the freshest
