Silverado Steak House - South Point Casino Ratings and Reviews
The Siverado Steakhouse at South Point was and has always been a great place to enjoy an evening with friends and family. The food is excellent and service is top notch. If your making business deal on the golf course, change to the Siverado Steakhouse for a sure thing!!
Have been several times when we visit Vegas. The food is OUTSTANDING as well as the service. Atmosphere is just wonderful for a nice, quiet dinner. If you want someplace nice to go while visiting Vegas, then head to the Silverado Steakhouse at South Point. Well worth the Uber ride.
Jose was amazing on Monday night, his insight on the proper way to dress the oysters and horseradish cream for our New York steak was superb. Service is always top notch and the wine paring is always on point.
Every time the wife and I are in Vegas and want a New York steak there is only one stop for us.
What a great restaurant in South Point. I had the dry aged strip, my wife the filet mignon. Her 8 ounce steak was cooked perfectly and the steak so large she reluctantly had to leave some. My meal was just as good. All of the restaurants in South Point are exceptional, the only tough decision is which ones we will have to skip this trip.
Conner and his assistant were amazing. The service was impeccable. Employees who were not even servicing our table greeted us and ask if everything was alright as they walked by. The food was delicious and the presentation was spectacular. I couldn't be more happy with the service we received what dining at your establishment.
The food quality has gone way downhill. Used to eat there multiple times a week, then now I am in Vegas every now and then. Meats are so so, usually not cooked right. Not going to go back anymore. I had a prime rib and it was a big cold chunk of meat and was cold.
My steak was medium rare when I ask for medium well. Sent it back and than cooked to a burnt steak. This has happened 3 times to me, and we eat here every month. All other food was excellent including mgmt and staff. Guess I will try something else next time. Feel like chef gets mad and than overcooked it so much, that steak was very dry.
The steaks at the Silverado Steak House are tender, juicy, and full of flavor. They happen to have a special on our visit, a Tomahawk Rib Eye. Of course the three gentlemen I was dining with ordered this steak and each one said it was delicious. Presentation was stunning. I ordered the filet and it was the most tender steak, cooked a perfect medium rare, and very flavorful. I have been to a few very expensive steak houses before and this filet was the best I have had. The prices are very reasonable. Most high-end steak houses offer a steak only and all sides are extra. The Silverado offers a salad, baked or mashed potato, or vegies for one price. You can order additional sides for a little extra. Overall the atmosphere was great, the high backed booths made it seem like we were the only ones there, we talked, laughed, and just had a most wonderful dinner, and our waiter was quite personable and made the experience one of the best we have had together.
Food and Service were just OK. The waiter was just going thru the motions of serving. Nothing over and above. The bus staff was excellent, offered additions without being asked. For Prime quality meat, did not seem to be that type of quality. Creamed corn as a side, had no taste...best in town is at Lawry’s! Would not return.
Service was awful. When I reported the salad dressing was "sour" the reply was "oh, ok" and my full plate was wisked off. (No offer of another dressing) We sat with empty water glasses with no one refilling our water until the very end when the meal was over. (And even then I had to ask for more water) Never asked if I wanted coffee or dessert. Very slow service with no "how is everything" asked at any time.
This was our first time at the Silverado Steak House, but it won't be the last! We were delighted with the entire evening. The food was fantastic, my filet I could cut with a fork. The service was perfect, they weren't on top of us but always available and seemed to show up exactly when we were ready.
A perfect evening!
