We tried the lamb lollipop and was satisfied. It was good and did not have any gaminess to it. I ordered the steak and it was tasty with the chimichurri sauce. Grilled cucumbers were a surprise, I wasn’t a huge fan of it. We had a complimentary dessert because we were celebrating a birthday. We got the cheesecake trio and we’re a little disappointed with the dryness of it, I wouldn’t recommend it but I won’t complain either since it was complimentary. Service was excellent!

My girlfriend and I always have lunch at the Silver Trumpet before we attend a performance at Segerstrom. The food is delicious and love the free parking benefit. Lovely outdoor seating.

Really overpriced for the quality of food. The filet mignon was overcooked. We asked for medium and it was like leather. The salad was good but would have been so much better if it hadn't been drowned in oil. It was a Friday night and the place was empty. The pictures are very misleading. We won't recommend or return.

Beautiful restaurant which was pretty full and noisy when we arrived. The restaurant quieted as it emptied for most patrons leaving for a show. The service was slow, even after the restaurant emptied. The server made minimal effort to take care of us. The food was delicious and restaurant gorgeous.

My party of five enjoyed dinner after a matinee performance of TINA at Segerstrom Center. it was very convenient to park at Avenue of the Arts Hotel prior to the performance and then walk back for dinner. Several of us had the salmon for dinner and it was excellent. Michelle was our server and did an excellent job. We appreciated being able to relax and savor our dinner and dessert and not feel rushed.

Fantastic restaurant for pre theater dinner. Great service excellent wine and food menu. Most important excellent parking structure for hotel and restaurant guests free. Most important is in walking distance to all musical and theater venues. .

The wait staff and manager were wonderful. There were very late serving up my lamb pops and when they came they were not medium rare. The manager apologized and had replacements sent. The replacements were still not medium rare. Then the manager comped me my entire dinner. My friend ordered the truffle risotto and when it was late, we just cancelled that order. Another guest at my table had ordered the swordfish. When it came, it was overcooked. The manager sent it back and a second piece came about the same time as my replacement lamb pops. My guest said the swordfish was good. I love this restaurant, but their kitchen was not up to par yesterday. It would not keep me from coming back, though. It is very convenient to park in their self park for a show at Segerstrom and have a meal at the Silver Trumpet. They provide a full validation for parking. They also accommodated our group of six with separate checks. Very nice.

Every time we come down from LA to a performance at the Segerstrom Center, we have dinner at Silver Trumpet. They never disappoint. It's a beautiful space and a lovely ambiance. Service is very friendly and spot on and you cannot go wrong with the hangar steak. By far one of the best steaks I've had in a very long time. Can't wait to go back.

We had reservations for 9pm and were seated in patio. The enclosed glass fire place feature was on and enticing, made for a perfect setting. The service was smooth and pleasant. The manager even came over to see that we pleased. Couldn't have asked for a more romantic quiet setting close to home. The food is always good.

The food was amazing and the service was great. The waitress tended to our needs and checked in on our table regularly and the manager was very approachable and kind as he talked to us during dinner. Highly recommend this place and would love to go back. My husband and I came there to celebrate a wedding anniversary because we got married at the same venue the year before.

Silver Trumpet has a good reputation that I misunderstood as a fine dining experience. I arrived about an hour after the restaurant opened to meet a friend for lunch before a Segerstrom matinee. There was no one to greet me when I entered the restaurant. I waited a few minutes until I saw a server and gave him my name and reservation time. He gestured to go to the patio. I found my way, but found no table for two, as I'd reserved. I took the only table available, a table for six. A different server came out and seemed distressed I was at the large table. I explained my reservation was for two, no one had escorted me to my table, and told her it didn't bother me to sit at the big table if it didn't bother her. I reminded her of my reservation. She said she'd go check, but never returned. Our server was fine at first , but disappeared for about 30 mins. when my dining companion ordered a cup of coffee. I had the California avocado toast - messy looking toppings served on a charred HUGE piece of grilled (almost burned) bread -- -- forgettable. My companion ordered Eggs Benedict -- finished her breakfast by the time the coffee came. Forgettable breakfast, terrible service, all for only $70 with tip.

Good service, friendly and attentive. Food quality and freshness was below average, especially for the cost. Stale/dried bread, charcuterie meats and cheeses were not good, filet was cooked perfect (medium rare) but quality of meat wasn’t great, the carrots and whipped potatoes were tasty. Would try again before going to a show at segerstrom, because of the convenient location. But overall food was disappointing.

Was loud indoors so they were able to seat us outside, and the area was very nice! But food was only okay... I always get the chilaquiles when it's offered, and these were very basic (just the egg and some pieces of avocado) and the chips were very mushy. Husband had the benedict and reported that it was also not that great.

It was wonderful to see Silver Trumpet full last night! Hopefully it is returning after the pandemic. We wouldn’t dream of going to an event in Sergerstrom without dinner at Silver Trumpet! The menu has something for all of us. Our dinners were wonderful followed by an affogato! The service is always impeccable. It was also nice to return and find the bar still open for a night cap! Staff is superb.
