I like that the food is from local farms. And that the beef is grass-fed. I'd prefer that there be more emphasis on organic food.
I particularly like the variety of food choices.
Stopped for a quick dinner with our three young kids after a day of running around in DC. Food was good with decent options for the kids and still something interesting for mom and dad. Service was fast and friendly. Only minor downside is the space felt a bit cramped and it was crowded but I can understand why. Will go back
Met friends for Sunday brunch. Crowded, noisy, glad we had a reservation. Food was good, warm ambiance, excellent service. First time ate there since Silver has been upgraded. Prefer new ambiance, food. Will return.
Horrible service. Very slow- brought the wrong food; Would not go back.
Quality of food has declined; scallops were not the same as the last time I visited. Pricey for a pretty normal meal. Next time, it would be cheaper to go to Chef Geoff's.
Great food for a quick lunch. Food delivery was good, but the check took a while to show up.
We have eaten at various tim s and have always left satisfied.
The service messed up a bit, but everything else was excellent! One of my all-time favorite places in Bethesda.
The manager went out of her way on a busy night to keep our reservation and accommodate our large party. Service was exceptional.
We had a reservation for a party of nine and had to wait about 15 minutes for our table although when we arrived they said it was almost ready. Upon sitting down at our table we did not have enough chairs and we were told they were busy and would get another chair immediately. We had to ask for another chair multiple times before receiving it. The food was great once it arrived. Took a while to get one entree. The food was very flavorful and fresh! Ambiance was nice. Would definitely go back.
Silver is my neighborhood go to restaurant. Silver has healthy choices and I can always find great options.
Our family loves Silver. Excellent quality food. We all have our favorites on the menu. It is a great option for people with food allergies as all ingredients are clearly listed and they identify gluten free and vegetarian meals.
A yummy outing with the kids. Something for everyone in the family.
This was our first visit to Silver. Service was prompt and friendly; overall, it was a lovely dining experience. I had the Lemon Chicken Picatta from the "Under 600 Calories" section of the menu and it was quite good. My dining companion really enjoyed the Truffle Bison Meatloaf. We shared Smith Island Cake for dessert -- yum! I wish I'd ordered my own slice. The restaurant was fairly busy and while it was somewhat noisy, we didn't feel like we had to raise our voices to converse. I'd go back!
Party of 4 on a Friday. Initially sat outside but weather turned cloudy/rainy before we ordered so moved inside to booth, no problem.
Server prompt, food came pretty quickly. I ordered pastrami cubana and got to fill out customer survey about the sandwich! All other meals just fine, too. Stayed for almost 2 hours, no issue.
Glad to see Silver has improved their offerings
Crowded and busy but food was still timely and delicious! Service was friendly. Will return for sure!
Silver, a restaurant version of Silver Diner, serves upscale diner food. We met some friends at noon, and it was quiet enough to have a good conversation. The food is typical comfort diner food, with large portions at a reasonable price. The restaurant is adjacent to the large Bethesda Row underground parking garage.
Perfect after a long work day
I don't think I've had a more delicious salad in a very long time. Wonderful food. Desserts weren't overwhelming. Great service.
A beautiful deco style eatery for casual dining. Their version of a Moscow Mule was not to my taste (they make their own ginger beer which I found lacking). Dinner was very good the chicken pot pie made good use of herbs. The Chicken Piccatta was also very good although not worth the $5.00 increase over the price for the same dish at Silver Diner. Service was merely adequate.
We ordered a simple dinner--soup and salads. The soup was so salty, neither of us could eat it and we had to send it back. After our next plates were delivered, the manager came over but our server didn't at all. We had to wave him over to order coffee after dinner and after we received the coffee, he never came back to offer refills. We both agreed we weren't coming back again.
So grateful to see vegan options. Delicious cauliflower steak
My first visit. Was not very busy. Very friendly server and slightly different yet good food. Plan to return.
Great food, but our service was a little shaky. Still, I will go back.
We went with folks we didn't know well in order to assure that all of us could find something to eat that met their needs:vegan. Lower calorie , pescatarian, meat lover. Silver was a very good choice
Sort of a diner on steroids, food was very good and the service was even better.
AWESOMME!...Well done SILVER!...Was very thankful for the Hostesses at the front door.
Huge thank you to Frankie(one of the hostesses), Eduardo's team and of course the chef for their exemplary service.
Distinctly average food served at inflated prices. Tries too hard.
Food was good, i picked this place because they are vegetarian friendly and we had some vegetarians in the mix.
Though they saw the "bean burger" on the kids menu and asked for that and were told that the "veggie burger" would be used.
I believe the "bean burger" is smaller *kids sized* but wow did this cause confusion for all.
Also, reservation was for 6 and since we had the baby carrier/stroller with us I requested the booth to accommodate us. Our party grew by two children (their plans fell thru) and the restaurant could not accommodate our new party of 8 reservation.
We ended up calling ahead an hour and ended up getting the booth anyways.
It seems if they intended to put us in the same table area, why couldnt they just confirm my increased party... took 2 calls and some diligence but we got it.
The service was wonderful and the short rib and beingets were divine. What a great meal and great place for a date night.
Good burgers. Salad dressing on house salad was bad - too much vinegar. Smith island chocolate cake was not as sweet as I expected. Somehow they make a chocolate frosting that is neither chocolatey nor sweet.
Wonderful food and great selections for vegans. It is a bit noisy and some of the tables are very crowded in, I would suggest requesting a booth whenever you can. Everything on the menu is excellent and the wait staff is friendly and attentive. This is one of my favorites in Bethesda!
Excellent as always. Wonderful food, great service. Great dining out experience. Very good for children.
Predictably good. Always reliable.
As always, an excellent dining experience. Best is they don't rush you to leave.
Yum! We were able to get
The bruschetta on gluten free toast and it was amazing!!! Server was knowledgeable and attentive to gf issues.
Food was very good. Menu is creative while still being a diner. Seemed a little pricey for me. Dinner for two with one glass of wine was $73 with tip.
Food was good and enjoyable. Service was good but uneven.
Food was good and servers were friendly
