   The food here is incredible. Best Thai I’ve had in Chicago. The restaurant space is adorable, too. I was shocked that it wasn’t packed. Maybe the best kept secret on Division? It’s not to be missed!

   This was our first trip to Silli Kori and the food was very good — maybe one of the best Pad Thai dishes I’ve had— but the place seemed a bit disorganized. The manager was very helpful, but I think they were understaffed, which is a thing everywhere right now. But the place was only half busy. And they have no paper menus so study the website before you go. I’d definitely give them a try just for the authentic food.

   Wow, this meal was a real treat for a nomadic Asian couple craving authentic Thai food. We had our fair share of fusion in Chicago (restaurants with menus including thai+sushi+dimsum), and just wanted some of that spicy fish sauce flavor in our dinner. Silli Koori has a beautiful patio out front and while they are neighbors to some lively pubs, you are relatively shielded from the street noise. We enjoyed the music that we heard and were able to converse at our normal volumes. Our server was very kind and helpful when we had questions about the menu. She even brought out a candle from inside for us! 🥰 We ordered the chicken wings as an app, and for entrees we got the son in law eggs, crunchy rice salad, and the khao soi. Wow, we were blown away by all of it. The salad was my personal favorite with the crispiest most savory rice, wrapped in a fresh lettuce leaf to balance out the bite of the filling. My partner devoured the khao soi - we normally eat our meals family style but it was clear who enjoyed what more. I loved the khao soi too but was more in the mood for crunchies, so I snacked on some of the creamy noodles with fried bits on top, and let him have the rest. The eggs were tasty and served with some well seasoned ground beef. We were too full to finish it during dinner and polished it off for lunch the next day! If you are looking for something truly flavorful and not just tofu pad thai for your next date night, please give Silli Koori a try. We were transported back to our month in Chiang Mai for the course of our meal. It truly made our weekend…we were just as happy when we dined at Alinea the night before ;)

   The food and service is excellent. The summer option to eat outdoors is an added perk as well. Great cocktails!

    Tried this great neighborhood place for the first time and will definitely go back. Not a giant menu, but we were very happy with the 3 apps we ordered (out of 6 options) and our two main courses. Beautifully plated and delicious. Also, the place had a certain relaxing quality about it which was nice after a hectic week. Go on in, you will love it.
