Chicken Breast Nuggets and French Fries
Old-Fashioned Chicken Fried Steak
Eight ounce Tail-Cut New York Strip, tenderized in-house, country breaded and fried, topped with cream gravy and served with mashed potatoes. We'll happily substitute hand breaded chicken for steak
Service great, food ok
Clean, great food and service
Terrible service. Waited over an hour to take our food order.
Even though this is not a smoke-free restaurant, the ventilation was good enough to keep it passable for our evening and the food was very well presented and tasty.
Server was great.
The food here this season is more than amazing! Twice I have ordered the OKC strip steak, and twice I have been able to cut this entire steak with a butter knife.
Food was ok but not as good as before.Chicken wing ap was cold chicken fried steak was good but gravy was cold.Crap cake was very tasty.Servuce was a little on the slow side
Very nice atmosphere food was excellent waitress was prompt and very attentive and friendly staff
It's fun to be there watching the races but the service is TERRIBLE. We barely saw our waitress all night. At one point I went to the bar to get drinks because our waitress was nowhere to be found.
I had gone for my fist time with my parents who were here for Thanksgiving and it was fantastic so I Decided to invite a group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday and watch the horses. The overall experience was great again...we had so much fun!! But there was a table near us with people smoking and we all walked out smelling like an ashtray which had not been the case in my first experience. I will go back...but I hope there are less smokers in the restaurant.
Such a fun evening! We had to send our steak back because it wasn't cooked properly...and it wasn't great when it was returned, but it was okay. Our server was excellent and very helpful....even while serving many tables! We had a GREAT time sitting in Silks watching the horses race. I would HIGHLY recommend Silks and the horse races if anyone is looking for a fun evening out!
Pictures of restaurant are deceiving. You can wear blue jeans and a T-shirt. The windows were dirty with hand and finger prints. It smelled of smoke. The pasta was dry and tasted like it had been left out for some time. The burger was unseasoned and was not hand pressed seemed like a frozen patty. Lastly chicken fried steak was ok but the potatoes were not freshly peeled. They were from the box and terrible. Disappointing experience.
Food was very mediocre. Service was good. Racing was fun. Chairs need updating.
The food was outstanding. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. The manager was extremely helpful. The location was perfect.
The 2 can done for $25 is a great deal. The food was enjoyable, but service was very slow.
Always fun to watch the horse races.
We met some friends to enjoy afternoon and the races out of the cold weather. The size of the group increased as the night continued and the staff was more then accommodating. Great atmosphere, value, and time.
Server was covering a lot of tables, but did a pretty good job keeping up. Food was good and priced reasonably!
Great food. Super service. Staff was awesome. Great variety.
Service and food was excellent! Will definitely do this again.
Some of the food was cold when it arrived at the table
Service was just ok
If you love racing and a great value, this place is for you. My wife and I made reservations for 2 on the windows on Thursday. They had a special, 2 for $25, that was very good. Service fast. Wine good. On the finish line. We are from Northern Kentucky, and have 4 tracks we frequent. We had a great time!
We love Silks, but it is not consistent. The $25 Dinner for two on Thursdays changes every visit. One week, two desserts and two chicken breasts on plate. Another week, two desserts and one chicken breast on plate. Another week, one dessert and one chicken breast on plate. I understand the promotion, but I do not understand the inconsistency. The food is good and we love Amber waiting on us. The other wait staff could step it up a bit.
Food cold , taste poor.
Service good , best part if any was the two 5$ bets ,place was clean but had to walk all the way up to make bets since two machines were not working with cash.TVs for simulcast to small! Overall not a good night, left after five races ,could not eat any of the food , salad was raw spinnich at room temp and looked like it had not been washed.
Food and service were fine. Seats on finish line were great.
Great food and atmosphere, just wished there was no smoking.
Great service from our waitress, had a great evening.
Food was good and very affordable. Our waiter was excellent and of coarse the horse racing was awesome.
It was freezing in there will not go back left by4th race
Great service, atmosphere and seated at table requested at time of reservation
Amber was a awesome waitress. She was pleasant and on top of everything
Food and service were good but even though we were near the windows the smoke from the smoking area was still bad plus we had to walk past the smoking are to get to the betting windows. One of the chairs at our table had ripped seat and another was very wobbly. Maintenance and cleaning necessary.
Great food, service, and experience for our extended family tonight at Remington Park. Thanks Silks!
Everything was great except for two things. 1- Chicken breast was over cooked and very dry. 2- trying to eat while diners two tables away are smoking was awful. Truly wish that Silks was smoke free. Our server, Day, was great!
Great food and a good value. We enjoyed the experience and we races.
We celebrated an engagement at Silks and everyone loved it! The food was tasty and it was so fun to be able to talk and celebrate while watching the horse races! We love this place as a special occasion restaurant that we can either dress up for or go more casually!
On Thursday nights during live racing Silks restaurant has a 2 for $25 deal. Share an appetizer, pick and entry out of about 8 choices, share a dessert plus two free tickets worth $5.00 each for use toward horse racing. So $10.00 of horse race betting, lots of good food all for just $25. Casual dress okay.
Since we got the salad as our Appetizer we each got a salad, I chose Cajun Chicken Alfredo and got bread with it. It was amazingly good. Aunt Carol got a Cheeseburger and instead of fries they let her pick a side. She chose Asparagus.
They had choice of Cheesecake or Hot Fudge Sundae. We shared a Cheesecake. It was all great. I took a lot of food home too and ate again later.
You can reserve your seats by going to Remington Park online and finding Silks. That will lead you to online Reservations but they take Walk ins too. It wasn’t very busy so we could have walked in but I’m still glad I reserved in advance. Better safe then sorry.
After you get done eating you can visit the Casino. Some nights they have live bands. They have some of the newer games like Piggy Banking, Huff and Puff that I’ve only seen on YouTube. Have to be 21 to gamble. Loads of fun!
The backed potato wasn’t quite done.
The salmon was just ok.
The Club sandwich was great.
Good job on the Long Island Tea.
We were mainly there to watch the races & be with friends.
Remington Park is a great place. We run our horses here and bring a crowd with us. The food is GREAT!
Service was good, I was not told it was smoking, that bothered my wife.
