The Silks Restaurant is a dinner and show type of restaurant. It is a place where you can sit and be entertained the entire evening. We do not rush you in and out like your normal restaurants. So, when you join us, please sit back and relax. Space out your courses and allow for time in between each course to enjoy the show. Whether you are visiting our city, casino, or just playing the ponies! Our 5-tiered dining room overlooks our racetrack for optimum viewing. Our delicious menu is unique and affordable and our wine selection showcases some of the best wines available without the price sticker shock. We also offer award winning desserts.

Fantastic place to spend an evening. Chicken Fried Steak is delicious and the cocktails are great. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

The food was so so at best. From the appetizers to the entrées. The coffee creamer, expired May of 2024 it’s currently September 2024. The food is not terrible but it’s nothing to write home about. We had everything from the chips and salsa, salmon, pasta, to the filet. The biggest problem is it was so cold in the restaurant it was unbearable! That’s the reason we left early and multiple parties was leaving for the same reason. I guess that’s better than it being hot!

Excellent service… definitely have upgraded their food choices . Disappointed they were out of the pork tenderloin but all in all everyone was very happy with the evening. Great get together place to have some fun at the races and enjoy an atmosphere and delightful food.

Very empty and not what it used to be for sure - had been years since I’ve been and the food was mediocre and tasted very “industrial” - packaged or premade - steak was tough and very little seasoning and the chips and queso - well the queso had a skin on top it had been sitting out for a while. Service was great- she was helpful and attentive- overall just disappointed in what it used to be and what it was last night .

Because other reviews were all over the place, we went with an open mind. Silks exceeded all expectations. We were seated on time in the area we requested. Our server, Dustin, was wonderful. We went on a Thursday night with the $45 deal for two diners that included a shared appetizer or individual soup or salad, two entrees, and a shared dessert. Our group ordered spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, catfish with coleslaw and hushpuppies, shrimp with pasta carbonara, and chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes as entrees. All were good but the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes may have been the best I've ever had with a perfect amount of breading. When Chef Steve Joule visited our table he told us the chicken fried steak is prepared in-house. Highly recommend! We were too full for dessert so we ordered peach cobbler with ice cream and cheese cake to go. This was a fun night with plenty of time to place bets between each race.

Food is nothing more than average bar food. Deserts are horrible. Screen at table did not work and hostess said it’s ok you don’t need it, we moved ourself and no one noticed. Reservations are a joke had a sign saying they were all booked and only about 1/4 the tables had people at them the whole night.

Service was horrible, took 30 for server acknowledge us then another 20 to take out when food finally arrived it was cold. Never will dine there again
