   Incredible experience!! We loved every part of the dinner from the service to the last bite of our chocolate ice cream. The view is epic!

   We've eaten many times at Sierra Mar over the years. I had the tasting menu, my wife ordered ala carte. This was our best meal at Sierra Mar in quite some time. Elegant small dishes, and each dish delicious and original. A triumph from beginning to end.

   Beautiful property with stunning view and cozy atmosphere. Architecture is unique and admirable. Food unfortunately not quite up to the same level, somewhat overwhelming sea and earth flavors that lack balance (specifically the ‘gifts of the sea’ and mushroom courses). Service a little awkward and slow despite not having a full dining room. No acknowledgement or asking how we were enjoying the meal despite being unable to finish multiple courses due to the flavors. Has the potential to be outstanding but needs to address their menu and service.

   World class views and cuisine, knowledgeable and personable staff; attentive, but not overly so. Brendan visited with me at table to ensure that my experience was exceptional. Kudos to all for a job well done! I’ll be back!

   Good food with incredible views. Could have used some background music. Vey quiet on patio. Service was good but confusing and a language barrier. He kept thinking we ordered the wine flight and tried to pour it for us two different times. Also served one of us a beer we didn’t order and then it was on our bill, which he corrected. We were only offered the price fixe menu I guess because we were not staying on property? Good once in a while treat with the views.

    Wow! Everything about Sierra Mar was perfection! From the impeccable service to the beautiful presentation and flavors of each dish, we will definitely be returning! Even before we arrive, Maria was so accommodating and patient as we were running quite late and had difficulty rescheduling our reservation online. Maria to the rescue! And she save us the coveted corner window seat for our special celebration! Brendan made sure we got complimentary champagne for our anniversary and took great photos of us, even taking us outside for the perfect backdrop! Tony was our server and he was THE BEST!!! We ordered the prix fixe lunch and everything was scrumptious! Tony made menu accommodations and had a great sense humor, making our meal so much fun! And to top it off, we strolled down to the chef’s garden and the sous chef, Tim, took the time to educate us and let us taste some of the seasonal veggies and herbs! What an unforgettable experience!
