The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.

We met friends from out of town here and we all loved the restaurant. I had been here once before with friends ages ago, but had forgotten about it. We picked it because of the location and were very happy. We would definitely go here again, even though it is not in our neighborhood. We would highly recommend it. The food and service were excellent!!

It is always good, sometimes the portions are a little small but always good. We tried the chicken and the carne asada. The chicken was great, the carne asada needed some salsa to make it a little more flavorful. Service was good.

Food was delicious though our soups (posole and albodigas) were hotter (spicier) than expected.f the women like really spicey hot food and they thought it excessive.

All other items were delicious and service good.

I have always been happy with the food and overall experience at Sierra Bonita and this visit was no different. The spinach and chicken enchiladas (brunch special) were amazing. Thank you for another super dining experience!

Our evening out was two couples dining out and our first time to Sierra Bonita. We were very impressed. My friend and I both had the salmon special...to die for. The guys had pork dishes and they both enjoyed theirs too. Food was attractively presented and the service was great. Great first-time experience.

Sierra Bonita one of our favorite places to bring our family and friends, always amazing and very consistent, we've had pretty much everything and never have been disappointed. You will be pleased with the service and ambiance as well. Also give the Brunch a try 👍..

We have been coming to Sierra Bonita for a number of years now, it has been consistent and wonderful. This time I had a halibut special that was fabulous. Everything is full of flavor, fresh, good size portions. The service is friendly and attentive. Have a margarita and some guacamole, take time to savor your meal and enjoy yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Worst service We have ever experienced. What made it worse was that the staff made a very poor attempt to fix the problem. We were seated and our server introduced himself and poured our water and said he would give us a moment. After 25 minutes, with our server attending to his other tables and completely ignoring us I got up and asked the hostess why we were not be served, as others who sat 15 minutes after us had ordered and received drinks from the bar and appetizers. She said she would check. 5 minutes later a new server came to our table and said she was told we had been waiting for a long time and that she would serve us. Instead of taking our drink, appetizer and entree order she hurriedly took our drink order and walked away. We waited almost 10 more minutes for her and our drinks to return. While others that were seated after us were now being served their entrees. She then asked if we wanted to order an appetizer and we insisted that we order our complete meal. When our order came our soup was cold. The Carne Asada was dry and over cooked. Our server knew the complete story and our dissatisfaction and yet her resolution at the end of the meal was to offer us a free dessert. Why would we want to spend more time and get more food. No manager was available to speak to. We will not return. Nothing worse than horrible service followed by a very poor attempt at resolution, in addition to disappointing food.

My sister and her husband were visiting from out of state, so I thought they would enjoy a restaurant with some Arizona vibes. Both the decor and the food were just what we were looking for, and we all really enjoyed our dinner. We appreciated the option of a half order on some of the entrees--I wish more restaurants had that option! Probably our favorite dish was the appetizer of bacon-wrapped shrimp, which was excellent.

DELICIOUS! Sierra Bonita exceeded our expectations. We were looking for southwest cuisine with a different twist. Wow! We had the Aztec soup and the Buttermilk Chicken. Indescribable. The chicken was perfectly breaded and flavorful. It’s served on masked sweet potatoes like you’ve never experienced, sweet and spicy but nothing too strong. Th n there’s this gravy that is wicked delicious. Everyone was great, from hostess to our server! Must go! Oh and the wine list! Really good stuff! This is a top spot for us and we’ve eaten all around the world. Nice job! Keep it up!

Sierra Bonita Grill is, and remains, one of my favorite places, so it pains me to "ding" them this one time. I think we waited (uncharacteristically) a little too long for our initial service. Don't know if this is the servers fault or not. My meal was the beef tenderloin special, and I thought it was superb. However my wife had the halibut, which she thought was overcooked, having to use a knife a couple of times. She almost always has the "Catch" when it is halibut, and has never been disappointed before. The other thing that perturbs me, which may or may not be the restaurant's fault, is that OpenTable would only let us have reservations at 430 PM; the next available time slot was 800 PM; too late for us. Yes, it was Valentines Day, and I waited till the day before, my bad. But I then sat in our booth for over an hour, watching a half dozen tables or more remain unoccupied for the entire time we were there, including when we left after 600 PM, which is when we would have preferred to have dined. Don't know who that is on, just saying it was annoying.

To reiterate, this has been one of our favorite places. We are about to move, and not being able to experience this dining choice is one of the more heartbreaking aspects of our new lifestyle. If at all possible, we will try hard to come back in the future when we are in town.

We went with friends for lunch before going to the Heard Museum. This is a truly wonderful place for brunch. Good coffee and drinks. Blue corn hot cakes are fantastic- flavorful and light, served with excellent syrup and strawberry butter. Others in our party were very impressed with enchiladas and eggs. Reasonable prices and a lovely ambiance. Highly recommended.

Menu is wonderful. Hard to pick what you want because it all looks good. I did pork tenderloin and it was so very good. Did fried pork appetizer. Very tasty. Nice merlot to blend it all together. Server was top notch. Ambiance was laid back and chilled. This was Birthday dinner for me and it was just perfect.

Plans this time were happy hour in the bar with dinner reservations in the dining room. We were comfortable in the bar and our server was outstanding.....so we continued with our dinner in the bar. Wonderful, relaxing evening for us and our out of town guests.

Stopped in for lunch since I have not been in for a while. As usual the food was outstanding! I had a couple of appetizers, my wife and mother-in-law split a salad and the fish special. There was nothing left to take home. Hope to get back again soon...
