About Sierra Bonita Grill
The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.

Sierra Bonita Grill Ratings and Reviews
Attractive southwestern decor; sever was fast, friendly and attentive; parking was difficult as have minimal slots when very busy; entrance is rather tight with traffic. Food was mixed--Azteca and Albongis soups were extremely spicy with heavy chipotle seasoning; mahi tacos were very tasty but came swimming in a white liquid (had to get several dry tortillas and transfered ingredients to these in order to eat the tacos), the buttermilk fried chicken was ok but on small side and came atop a huge pile of yummy sweet potato mash. Overall, OK but wouldn't rush back.
Dined here upon recommendation of local friends. We were seated immediately given water and menus. We sat for awhile...a waiter finally noticed us, asked if we had ordered...sincerely apologized for the wait and comped us dessert. The rest of the service was excellent... friendly and prompt. The menu was varied with small plates, salads and entrees. I'd call it modern Souhwest. We shared the charred ceaser which was more than enough for two people. The pork tenderloin with coffee and chocolate rub was cooked to perfection as were the veggies. My husband had the mahi mahi fish tacos which had large, nicely seared hunks of fish with delicious spiced slaw and sides. Would definitely return to try other interesting food options.
The food was outstanding. Super delicious!! Creative menu. Everyone loved their meals.
Restaurant was very noisy. (It was a Friday evening.) We could hardly hold a conversation at our table so we opted to leave and go elsewhere for dessert because it was too loud.
My first time there and I was struck by the beautiful Ambience of the restaurant the ceilings are wood and metal and just gorgeous... my fiance had the five spice chicken sandwich that she said was to die for and I had the red pork on tomato rice and it was SO freaking good! I don't know how else to describe it!!
