Refused a booth. Supposedly couldn't get it because they were saving it for someone after our reservation. Placed by door, had to ask for another table. Put in corner under heater. Didn't know you had request a good table. Beer skunked.
I met a friend from out of town. We had a very nice table and we each had a soup and we split a sandwich. Our server was lovely and we had a wonderful time.
Pasta made in house and was excellent! Great wine selection. My only complaint was that I went during happy hour and realized after the fact that I was charged full price rather than happy hour price on drinks.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner. The temperature was a bit warm in the restaurant, but other than that it was a lovely evening!
My friends and I tried 3 dishes and 3 appetizers and everything was so good! The ambiance was great and great drinks!
Third trip here. Looks like some re arranging of tables was done since our last visit. Now there are booths vs high tops which I like . Service was good. Not great. Food is Amazing. Not sure tho about the no substitution policy. In my mind that needs to be revisited. I would definitely recommend and definately come back.
Fabulous waiter (Isaiah), fabulous food - you can't go wrong!
Love the ambience. This is my third visit and I really enjoyed the experience. Since it was a Thursday we were able to sit at a booth. This is not always possible when there is a theater crowd.. The service was excellent and the food even more so. I had the scallops and risotto and it was delicious. I would definitely return.
Absolutely delicious food with large portions and the staff was wonderful kind and accommodating!!! Highly recommended
Great service from our waitress. During Happy Hour, so we were able to take advantage of special pricing for wine and appetizers. Main courses were very good, dessert was a little disappointing. On hole, would return for a pleasant evening.
Great food. Excellent service. A bit cramped though.
Meatballs were raw- even when we sent them back, they came back raw inside. The food descriptions on the menu did not match the actual items themselves.
The food was excellent and the prices were reasonable given the quality. The service was certainly acceptable even if not outstanding.
Get the scallops. Seriously. Get. The. Scallops...
It is always a wonderful experience to dine at Sienna on the Square. The atmosphere is quiet and comforting. The people working are so kind and thoughtful. Most importantly the food is incredible.
Pasta was great! Also enjoyed the meat and cheese tray for starters and desserts to finish off a very good meal!
Like all our visits the food and service is wonderful.
Always had nice dinners and lunches. The past visit was a disappointment. I will chalk it up as a bad night, but will be awhile before I return.
A friend and I went here for dinner before a concert. The atmosphere is cozy and trendy. We both had a salad and the pork tenderloin, which was delicious! Entrees are on the pricier side but we both had leftovers thanks to generous portion sizes. Good drink list (including mocktails) ad well!
The food was fabulous! We were there celebrating a family birthday and the experience was everything we had hoped for. Since this was our first dining experience at Sienna on the Square, you can be sure we will return again! Bravo!
Always an excellent meal every time. The wait staff is great too
From the drinks (martinis), to the service (very attentive staff), to the main meal (all ordered pasta dishes), everything was superb. The only disappointment was the dessert. Women love chocolate and it was rather boring, sorry to say.
Gnocchi was excellent! Our group of 7 enjoyed their meals before a concert at the Benedum. Easy walking distance to Theatre District.
Took a friend there for lunch on her birthday. All three of us kept talking for days about how tasty our lunch was, and how we need to make this a more regular part of our rotation.
Beautiful place, beautiful food and the the staff are 1st class; nothing more to add 🙂
Excellent menu choices. The pear salad with goat cheese is outstanding and very nice portion size. I then had the stuffed meatball for my entree which is my go to on the menu. It’s always delicious!
The service was great - attentive without being intrusive.
And the noise level was mild which is awesome and so difficult to find in restaurants.
Great evening overall!
Good food but limited menu. It’s one of our “go to” places.
Sunday brunch very good
The food here had really been elevated since our last visit. The black truffle pasta was fabulous as was the chicken. One of us had the Restaurant Week menu which was an outstanding value but also interesting and exciting food. Service was outstanding. One of the most delicious spots in downtown Pittsburgh.
We were 1st time diners at Sienna, the food was fabulous and the staff was very attentive. Keep up the good work. I also liked the atmosphere, you could hear the person next to you talking.
Poor value for the restaurant week. Not the same quality
Always love going to Sienna. Food and ambiance always great. Allie, our waiter, was wonderful.
Great food and service
There was a hair in the olive spread served with the bread. The manager provided new of both but that’s it. I do not know of any other establishment that would not have comped at least a portion of the meal.
While the waiter was very kind at first, he then all but disappeared.
The food was just ok. Definitely not worth the high price.
I would have thought NYE would have been A game night. Overall it was a D-
Just discovered this restaurant . Definitely will come back. Food was excellent. Our server was great. Helpful in making suggestions on what wine and specialties of the house.I felt she was genuinely interested and helpful. Really liked the decor. Noise level was just right. I recently had dinner in another downtown restaurant and we could not hear our selves talk. Not the case here. Mostly my wife and I have dinner in the theater section. But now I’m looking forward to coming back to Sienna on the Square.
The service was excellent — from the host to the bartender to the kitchen staff to the wait staff, everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful.
This was my second time, first with my husband. We started with meatballs, the size of my head. He couldn’t stop eating, he loved everything, my husband is a very picky eater (think likes food of a 5y/o). He couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was, he stepped out of his comfort zone with the scallops, he devoured them. I got the potato gnocchis, I could have eaten them for days. AMAZING! The portions are massive and each bite got better.
We cannot wait to go back.
Lovely meal. Appetizers were great. Pasta was fresh and tasty.
Seated immediately, service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The drinks and food were exceptional! Definitely recommend the zucchini toast and the gnocchi meal!
Always a good experience at Siennas. Pasta was delicious, service from Samantha and team was great!
