Great meal! We really enjoyed our celebration dinner. Would highly recommend!
Awesome as always! Siena in Smithfield is our favorite restaurant, and they made my husbands birthday special with a card and candles on his dessert.
We love it here but were so disappointed that the braised short ribs are off the menu! It's my husband's favorite!
The food was delicious and the service was great!
I received a gift certificate, had heard a lot of good things about Siena, ordered the calamari for an appetizer which was very good. Italian entree was good the swordfish dish was fair. We were new to this restaurant and it seemed other people seated in our area were being waited on while we waiting for the waitress to just ask us if we wanted a drink, never mind order dinner. Will not recommend and will not return!!
I don't believe there is such a thing as a bad meal at this fabulous restaurant. Highly recommend the tagliatelle bolognese. Great salmon dishes. Picatta's , whatever you choose.
Great wait staff . Love Christine.
They honor their reservation time as close as possible, very little waiting.
This is on our 'rotation" list for great places to eat!
Excellent service. Excellent food.
Will absolutely be back again.
Loved it, but noise level TOO LOUD. I believe some people think their in their own home and can talk as loud as they like. Personally, I like to enjoy dinner out with quiet conversation. Great service, food and nicely decorated.
Took my wife and her mother for an early mother's day dinner outstanding service food was great, left as a happy customer
Mother’s Day dinner
Thank you for lovely evening. Our the waitress was very sweet. Our food was delicious and the after dinner drinks and dessert were amazing.
The Brussels sprouts and potatoes were cold in all three plates.
The food and ambiance are first rate. Prices are decent. The staff is knowledgeable, respectful and accommodating. When you have a food allergy, it is a pleasure to come to a restaurant that will happily accommodate your requests. My very favorite restaurant!
The cocktails are always fantastic. The eggplant parm was tender and in a delicious sauce. The ceasar salad though was starting to turn and probably should not have been served. This is the second time in my experience there with the ceasar salads. Otherwise everything is great and the service wonderful.
Our server was outstanding!!!!!! She recommended awesome dishes. The food was delicious but I found the roasted potatoes and green beans bland and boring.
We had a lovely dinner. The food was amazing and so was our server Michael! Can’t wait to go back again. Plus the blended red wine I had was magnificent!
Just a few little things like the green beans being undercooked and the asparagus being stringy and having to ask for sweetener and utensils following a course clearing.
It won’t keep us from going back but it should be better for the price.
Every time we come to Rhode Island to visit we enjoy a wonderful dinner at Sienna.
My favorite thing is the red olives.
I can’t wait for our return.
Prompt and friendly service.
Good food. They were ready for our reservation as soon as we arrived.
I can’t believe I can’t remember our servers name, she was phenomenal. (Dark haired with a really big, high bun.) Knew everything about the menu and drinks without missing a single beat. It did seem like you need a reservation for a Saturday evening. We went at 5:30 (with a reservation; I thought ahead for once) and it was packed. Every morsel that we ate was sublime. The bolognese is to die for, that giant meatball was amazing, the brasata is worth every calorie, and the chicken Marsala special was beautiful. As much as I wanted the little doughboys for dessert, I was stuffed and settled with sharing a few bite of Nutella gelato. The only thing I wasn’t super impressed with was the red sangria, but I’ll be honest, I’m not much of a red wine person anyway; I should have gone for the white. Ultimately it is so worth a visit. It was our first time here, and it will not be the last by far!
Excellent as usual - service was excellent as always -
Food was delicious as always. Food was extremely slow in arriving.
Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Table was perfect, food was amazing!
Everything was wonderful. We ended up staying longer than we should have because we do not get to see each other often and the waitress did not seem to mind. I thought that was very nice. She did not rush us and was very accommodating. Enjoyable experience. Must try the Gelato!!!!
As always food and service were great! I tried a new dish it was amazing!
My friends and I had a great night! The hostess staff was super nice and accommodating, our waitress was wonderful and then unfortunately she fell ill so our table was taken over seemlessly and my another great server, and because of the trouble the manager came over and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit. Just a great night overall. Thanks so much!
Met up here with friends. We all had delicious dinners. Drinks were wonderful. Our server was great. One of our favorites.
Delicious food Very enjoyable great service
Everything was great. Food was spectacular and service was great.
Great as usual. The waitstaff was just going through the motions.
Food was ok... waiter was not the best
Food was very good and service was wonderfully exceptional!
Only two restaurants in R.I. Siena, and all the rest
My in-laws wanted to go out to eat for Easter Sunday..
Being Keto, I knew we couldn't have MUCH of what was on the menu, but I went along with everyone.
Ordered the Calamari appetizer without breading.
One would THINK the calamari would be FRIED and seasoned, but it came on the plate as thick white globs that looked BOILED and NO seasoning at ALL.
It was HORRIBLE. Watery and PLAIN...disgusting...we suffered through it because, being not able to fill up on BREAD that was brought tot he table, we were hungry!
I ordered the scallops without crumbs.
They were brought in on a hot plate swimming in hot butter and grease.
They were overcooked and just plain HORRIBLE, and at the price of $21, they came along with hard, overcooked potatoes that I could not eat, and hard as a rock string beans that couldn't even be cut with a knife. I tried. They were RAW.
As for the others dinner, they looked just about as appetizing as mine did.
Hubby had Salmon on a bed of greens, maybe an ounce of greens... kind of expensive for what was brought to him.
My sister in law had Fruitti De mare, which was in a VERY watery tomato based broth...it looked terrible and she did NOT eat the pasta...
The table ordered a side of brussels sprouts, which I was excited over, as they were browned to a crisp and looked delicious...well, they were ALSO raw inside.
I took them home and re-baked them til they were done last night with dinner...
The restaurant was HOT, Noisy and just a NOT GOOD experience at all to most of us there...we smiled and struggled our way through dinner, and sadly gave up dessert just so we could LEAVE it ASAP!
The ONLY redeeming thing about our time at Siena was our waitress, Kristen, and the rest of the wait staff, who were pleasant, smiling, and very attentive, from the boy who filled up our water glasses to the rest of the waiters who brought all our plates at once so we could all try to enjoy a hot dinner.
SADLY the food did NOT live up to the hype of this place.
Restaurant was freezing and it took over an hour for our food to come out. (and it wasn’t busy). When it did come out it was warm, at best, as were our appetizers. Eat here often and tonight was a complete disappointment
Excellent food. Service was a little slow on a busy Saturday night to start but once our server got to us the rest of the experience was excellent. It was a little noisy with the full dining room, but overall an excellent experience. It was our second time at this location and we would definitely return again.
Went out with some friends. It was my first time there and the others hadn’t been in a while. The restaurant has a very nice bar area and dining room. We will be back for the bar. Our waitress was very friendly and appropriately attentive. The menu was diverse with many delicious sounding options. I had the salmon special, which was cooked perfectly. Everyone else at the table had a great quality meal. It is not the cheapest but well worth it for the food and service.
Service was excellent as was the food. I view Siena as a value leader among upscale restaurants.
Enjoyed Anniversary Dinner with my wife on 18 April. We chose to have dinner at Siena that night because we were so impressed with this restaurant after our first visit. The service is exceptional. This is a very well run establishment; it's not a chain restaurant being run by idiot teenagers. Our server (Rachael) was very professional - instinctively knew when to come to our table to check on us and when to leave us to our privacy. Somebody apparently takes the time to train the staff here. The food we had on our first visit was exceptional. The food this time was somewhat unremarkable. I had Veal Saltimbocca; my wife had Chicken Piccata. The food wasn't bad at all. But didn't live up to our expectations after the first visit. Nevertheless, there are a lot of things on the menu we want to try. We plan to go back often.
