Great food and great service. Joseph was incredible
I had made a reservation weeks in advance and shared that I was bringing a friend for her 70th birthday. We were sat in a corner with walls on both sides with no view at all and there were plenty of tables with window views. The food server may have been the worst I have ever had. I believe his name was David. He only allowed us one roll and took our plates away before we had finished our bread. He gave us the check before we were finished with our meal and never even asked if we wanted dessert (remember 70th birthday guest I brought). I asked if that meant were could not have dessert and his response, "Oh, did you want dessert?" I said that we did and he rolled his eyes like we were such a bother! Wow, I was so embarrassed to take my friend to a place with such poor service on such a special occasion for her. NEVER AGAIN!
Our wait person was very attentive and we have now been fortunate to have him there on two occasions. He was very knowledgeable. My only comments are on the food - my grouper was dry and I was not a fan and this was the special for the day- and for a birthday we received a scoop of ice-cream- seems like a signature dessert for this type of Italian cuisine would be more memorable.
Awesome meal, as usual! We had the baked Brie as an appetizer and it was superb as was my penne salmone. Joseph was our server and he did a super job of taking care of us! Highly recommended!
Had a 7:15 reservation, walked out at 9:30. Service was poor at best and the food was just ok. We have eaten there several times but not sure we want to go back; pretty tough night.
I hadn't been in a couple of years and I was pleasantly surprised... Our waiters were excellent! Paul and Derek in training. Well informed about the selections and very entertaining. It was a great meal and the pear for dessert with the fennel pollen was excellent. I treated coworkers... its been a rough go at work... so the lunch was a GREAT diversion and was very relaxing... we couldn't stop laughing at the experience... WONDERFUL... We will be back!!
overall experience was very good. The reason for 4 stars was the dessert lacked flavor and we were not provided a knife to cut the pear. I'm also not a fan of goat cheese which was blended into the cream cheese. When we asked the waiter for dessert options the full description was not provided. Overall a very pleasant experience.
We decided to have a nice dinner where we could talk and enjoy good food. Siena was just the right place.
I've never had a bad meal at Sienna. I highly recommend it.
We've been going here for 20+ years for special occasions. This time was for my wife's birthday and we were disappointed overall. It's a romantic location but this time too many things were wrong. We stated out with bottle of wine, which was very nice, then we ordered an appetizer with the thought that we could enjoy the wine and then the appetizer while we spent time with the menu to decide the rest of our dinner. At this point the waitress informed us that this was "not allowed" and that we had to order the complete meal at the same time. Wow, never heard that before but I guess at that point I was a little intimidated and rushed my entrée order and ordered the mixed grill. My wife ordered the evening beef filet special. Both were ordered medium rare, that's when I was again informed that they would not serve pork tenderloin less than medium. OK-again, probably my fault, so I agreed to the medium. Big mistake, pork tenderloin was over cooked and dry, no big surprise but I ordered it so my fault I guess.
I do think the menu is much smaller or less inviting to us.
I long for the days when the veal chop called my name every time I came in, those days are apparently gone for ever, hasn't been available the last few times we have been there.
Overall a disappointing evening for my wife's milestone birthday.
Excellent as always...a favorite local spot. Love the ambiance, food & realitively QUIET dinning environment!
My friends and I were very disappointed in our meal on February 21. We've dined here numerous times and have always loved it. However, this time the service was terrible; there were only 4 of us and the waitstaff had to return to our table a couple of times to confirm our orders and then still didn't get it right. The food served was not up to par and we waited an extra long time for it to be served and yet the restaurant was not that crowded.
Not sure we'll try it again; if we do, it won't be for a long time.
Waitress was awful and food was average at best for a nice restaurant. Have been there previously and had a good experience. Probably will not return based on this experience.
We had a great time. We had a quiet corner upstairs which provided a very nice environment for a romantic evening. Cozy.
Hostess was so joyful and welcoming! Food and ambience were impeccable. Service was definitely a no go. I am speaking for our specific waitress not the service in general. She was pushy.
Food was very good. Services was excellent. At the bar, the hostess and especially the wait person. Party of four.
Great! Good food. Good service. Nice atmosphere for a date.
The waiter didn’t seem too interested in being there. Food was very average.
Siena is a beautiful restaurant, and prefect for date nights and other special occasions. The service was great, and the food very flavorful. Will definitely be coming back again.
Great food and cocktails. Server “Sam” was attentive and friendly.
Well trained and attentive servers, consistently good cuisine, and an extensive wine list. Warm ambience.
The waiter came by to see how our dinner was, but in the middle of mt husband saying “the scallops were really good, but” he walked away. The salmon was over cooked. I had the mushroom pasta—always one of my favs—but I, who never salts anything, had to salt it twice to no avail. I don’t think they salted the pasta water. Also, i was not offered fresh ground pepper for my salad even though the pepper grinder was in plain sight. Don’t think we’ll bother to go back.
Our waiter was perfectly attentive, had gr at suggestions, overall great service all around!
I enjoyed my date and will surely be back!!!!
Great! Food was good, service was good, love the place
Beautiful restaurant. Great food and staff! Keep up the good job.
As always, lovely atmosphere, great food and wonderful service. We celebrated and early Valentine's and it was exactly the way we planned it.
Food was great. A little slow to get the courses out but otherwise fantastic
I have come to Siena many, many times and last night will be our last. After we got our salads we waited 1 hour for our dinner. NO manager ever came to our table and the waiter came a couple of times but then after he told us they were plating our dinner 30 more minutes went by and no waiter. They did take several glasses of wine off the bill. Not sure what in the world went wrong but it was sad cause we loved going in the past.
The service was professional and additional cooking was quick and efficient. The food quality is excellent and the fireplace on a cold, rainy day was comforting. I really enjoy scheduling business and personal lunches at this restaurant.
I've eaten here before but not for a few years. All 4 of us ordered fish and only one of us enjoyed the meal. The chef special fish was dry and overcooked. The pecan crusted fish was soggy, more like breaded and not how the menu or waiter described it. Food was sort of bland for the price. Go for the atmosphere, but not the entrees.
Food was great- service was excellent
Place was a third full but service was slow. Food arrived warm not hot. Ordered a bottle of wine (there were 2 offerings - one more expensive) I ordered the less expensive- was charged for the more expensive one. All in all a bad experience.
It was a perfect date setting. We were seated above in the balcony and the noise level was fine. Our only disappointment was that there was no Osso Bucco on the menu. But the wine was fantastic and what we ordered were all excellent.
We had a grand night celebrating my husband's birthday with friends. Our waiter could not have been nicer nor taken better care of us. Thank you!
Not kids friendly. No kids menu. Food is nothing special. I was expecting a better presentation of the food for the price they charge. The wine selection is good.
We ate here on a very busy Friday evening. Service was slow because of that but we loved our salmon entree & are so glad the frito misto is back on the appetizer menu. We’ll be back!
Lovely restaurant with great food and service.
We ate here for the first time and loved it! We will be back soon!
Our only problem was that our server was new and apparently did NOT know the menu well enough. When My wife asked if the ravioli was in a red sauce, she responded yes. That was wrong, and my wife had to send it back, and changed her order completely. But that one experience will not dissuade us from coming in the future.
