Roast Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus*
Slow Roasted, Hand Cut: An El Cortez Classic, Served With Au Jus
Thur | Pot Roast
Slow Roasted Beef, Brown Gravy, Carrots Potatoes, Peas
Horrible experience. Restaurant smells like cigarettes. Roasted chicken was completely raw and the”potatoes” that come with it was literally one potato slashed into 4 pieces. Crispy fried chicken was good, but mashed potatoes that come with ir weren’t that tasty. 17 dollars for fried chicken. At least the manager was understanding enough to not charge us the roasted chicked. Don’t recommend it at all.
Food was good but made me sick right after. The hostess was rude upon entering the red and had an attitude when told I had a reservation.
First time dining at this establishment. There were four of us and we all had the prime rib special -which was very flavorful. We were celebrating a birthday (which was specified on the reservation). Was not acknowledge nor did they bring out a dessert or anything, which was a little disappointing.
Our server was Linda and she was fantastic.
Great dinner for an affordable price. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
The food was OK nothing to brag about. And the $12/$14 prime rib that my son ordered ended up costing $40 so no big bargain there
Half chicken bland . Overcooked day old potatoes and undercooked carrots. Steak cold . Must have been from previous day. Hash browns cold. Understaffed. Waiter too busy so did not complain about bad food. Overpriced.
Fantastic food. Great experience
Very delicious prime rib dinner and at $14.95 makes it even more enjoyable!
Server was super friendly! Will come every time we’re in Las Vegas ◡̈
The food quality was excellent and not expected considering the butcher paper table cloth and the Maitre'd's performance. The exchange - "we have reservations, do we still have to wait in line?" "Yes, unless you have reservations" Service was good - not excellent and prices were good.
Great food, great service
We had a reservation and were seated right at our time. Unfortunately the hostess sat us at a table where no waitress was assigned. We waited probably 20 minutes before any one noticed that we still had our menus and no one had taken our drink order. People who were seated after us had their orders taken. A waitress finally came to take our order. We ordered 2 prime rib specials, an iced tea and a water. She checked to make sure we had our food and never came back. I could have over looked the seating problem if she had come back and refilled our drinks at least. It is too bad. We had not been there for years when it was Roberta's. Not sure we will ever be back and we will definitely not be recommending Siegel's to any one.
The food was just OK. Service was slow even though the restaurant was barely at 50% capacity.
I had the Prim Rib special and everything was excellent!
Prime rib special is an excellent value! A hidden gem!
Nice restaurant, ambience and all. Service fair - they did try hard I must admit, but was a bit scattered, including during bill pay due to the arrangement of the incoming and outgoing lines at the register. Otherwise good value and food!
Great service, delicious food, "extra special" specials! I highly recommend this for a quiet, semi-formal place to eat on Fremont Street.
Was there for a quick bite. Server was very pleasant and interacted with us favorably.
We had such a great time. Great food in an old Vegas atmosphere.
por waiters was a fanyastic server sorry that i did not catch ere name. She was joking with us all night and her service was inpecable.
Never disappoints my second trip here and it was amazing as usual. My brothers have decided they’d like to stay at the El Cortez just so they could eat here all day
Always had good food every time I eat there.
They do need to hire more employees as they seem to be over worked.
The food is great. However, the prices are high, and service is hit-and-miss. Also, the way they handle player club discounts is deceptive.
It's not a terrible place, but there are plenty of alternatives within walking distance.
Restaurant looks cool and service was good. However, the food was mediocre at best. Also, subbed menu items without mentioning it beforehand. Prime Rib in Mac and Cheese was way over done and portion tiny.
Server was friendly.
Salmon and fried chicken were way overdone. The steak which was ordered well done, was burnt on the outside and bleeding on the inside. Not impressed at all and it was our wedding dinner, so it was really disappointing.
Prime rib special meal was delicious and our server Mark was wonderful. One of our best visits ever
We have been at Siegel's before several of times. Which we were happy with their menu selection. This recent visit we realized they have taken off the menu the filet mignon and only offer prime rib and New York steak. Their roasted chicken is by far the saddest plate, very odd choice of vegetables, celery and carrots in a broth with pieces of potatoes floating in it along with the chicken that was very dry and no flavor. Very low quality in my opinion. Their burgers are ok. However, onion slices in it are like 4 inches thick and can hardly taste the burger, only onions!
They may want to revise their options to put on the menu and create better quality.
Great service and terrific food. We had an incredible birthday dinner celebration.
They did not have half of the food on the menu. After ordering what they did have they were out of a side item and just brought out something else without even asking what we would like instead. We were quite disappointed in food quality and the waiter was not very friendly.
Food was good and came out fast. There was definitely a bottleneck at the hostess stand. They had one person trying to seat people and check people out. It was so annoying that it almost ruined what would have been a great dining experience.
I was dining alone. Once seated, I waited for someone to speak to me, or at least bring water, for 17 minutes. A gentleman came over (the manager I think) and thanked me for being there, then left me to continue waiting. Didn’t seem to notice there was nothing on the table! No silverware, water...nothing! Just left smiling, and ran off yo his next, I don’t know what. The waitress did finally notice me, but she was very occupied with a large family party of twelve, sitting at two tables. I kept thinking that she needed a little help, but no one came. Once My order was taken, things got better. Eventually, the chef even stopped by and we discussed the food. He was very sweet and open. Generally, I have much better service at Seigel’s, and the food is solid.
The ribs and prime rib were fantastic! We enjoyed great service and great food and a fair price! Outstanding! We will be back.
Ok but there is better places to have a meal in downtown
A great way to start our day with a tasty and filling breakfast. The restaurant was easy locate and the atmosphere is worth a return visit.
Great service. Very good food. Clean with a casual look.
Had the steak and salmon. Salmon was good. Steak was cooked perfectly for a medium rare. Only complaint is that it needed seasoning. A little pricy for the steak, but not horrible. Good service. Not a place I’d make a special trip for, but not bad.
We got there a couple hours before had been waiting to try out this restaurant just because I've had reservations for a week. Just to find out that their kitchen was broken. Wish they would have notified us so we didn't waste our time.
In parring down the menu (understandable right now), they removed the lone veggie burger and the grilled cheese sandwich. That was pretty much the entire vegetarian menu they had, leaving only mac & cheese which is not at all what I wanted when wanting lunch. The staff however are all incredibly nice!
Good well priced food even with a limited Covid menu
Had a reservation for 7pm and didn't get seated till about 7:30. The lady working at the front seemed annoyed and not very personable.
What a classic! Thank you for taking me back to the Las Vegas of yesterday, when quality, food, service and hospitality meant something. The El Cortez & Siegel's is classic Las Vegas! Keep it up & don't ever change because you guys have nailed it! Can't wait to come back!
