Bugsy Siegel’s lust for extravagance set the scene for modern-day Las Vegas. Paying homage to Siegel and his inner circle of original mobsters, El Cortez Hotel & Casino presents food with attitude at the morning, noon and night dining concept, Siegel’s 1941. Siegel’s 1941 offers extensive menus filled with modern twists on classic American standards.

Ordered the Reuben sandwich, one side was nice and crispy and the other side was wet and mushy. Had to eat it with a fork and knife.

The food was very good and the service was great. Restaurant needed to be updated and the noise/smoke smell is pretty intense. Still a great price for a good meal though .

Omg the prime rib dinner was the best I’ve ever had in Vegas. First time eating there after social media raves. Wonderful dinner.

Went back for my birthday last night and was there a week prior. They have a great Prime Rib deal ONLINE and also a Stone Crab deal. Manager with the outdated curly mustache said we don't have Stone Crabs, only Oct - May and I.T. should have taken that down. Nothing I can do, you can get the Prime Rib. Unfortunately now we won't go back to the El Cortez at all. We left to Rampart and the buffet cashier used all our comps to get us down to $5 for two buffets and salvaged the night as well as a big win.

I was there once before with my son. The place was packed and had a great vibe. This time the place was almost empty and the vibe wasn't there. On the bright side, you can't beat their prime rib special. It was delicious along with the baked potato and steamed veggies. We literally were in and out in 45 minutes.

I ordered a reuben, the meat literally smelled rancid and it was nothing but gross pieces of fatty, gristle corned beef, along with the bread being so soggy. I went with friends. All 3 of us had burned, crunchy French fries from the bottom of the bag. So very disappointing.

Awful service and food. Server was sucking on candy the whole time, forgot our drink, still charged us for tea even though they didn’t have the kind we wanted. Prime rib only had one option: well done. Caesar salad was awful. Clam chowder was yummy. Very disappointing and unexpected.
