First time eating here. We both ordered the Prime Rib, outstanding. There were many other items on the menu that sounded delicious too. We will return next time to try a different item when we are in Las Vegas. Definitely a place to check out!! Recommended.

The website and menu seemed like this would be a higher quality dining experience. Chefs Selection menu after 5pm was unknown to our server. We had to ask and she had to check about availability. Wine was all house wine, not brands listed online. Honestly our meal was good, value was good, atmosphere was paper table covering and paper napkins, so some some yin with the yang. Hey... convenient parking for Fremont Street Experience, nice meal, I'm sure we'd be OK eating there again, just be sire we asked for items offered that could be unknown to the staff.

Had a great time eating here! Food was yummy and service was great! Everything was very reasonably priced! (Probably at least half of what you'd pay on the Strip!)

We had the Cod and the BBQ... The food looked and tasted like it was warmed up left-overs, the service was slow, and never asked us how was everything, do we need anything, etc...even the hostess was rude.

If you are looking for a low priced meal in a Fremont area Hotel this would be it. Nothing exceptional about this local haunt. Service was spotty. Prime Rib was dry and bland. Basic Boomer locale.

I had been wanting to check this spot out for a few years. While I was a wee bit disappointed in my Lucky Luciano meatball sub, I will order something different next time. Menu looks excellent and decor and ambiance is awesome.

A real bargain in Las Vegas with a great deal on Prime Rib (you must ask for it as it is not on the menu. It is away from the strip but right next to Fremont St.

I went for their Stone Crab Claw special. The crab was very good, but beware of the Cole Slaw... NOT fresh at all. Enjoyed all the Mob posters and old Movies playing on TV's around the restaurant. A nice evening and Crab was delicious.

Haven’t been in awhile..(loved Flame), but was so happy to see Mark our server AGAIN. He took great care of us...as usual. Calamari wasn’t as good as we remembered, Prime Rib was nice but had to get the 16 oz to get it how I like it/rare and thick (anything less is 1/4-1/2 “...maybe. Also missed the “bread basket”/Flame. Be sure to tell them if you have tickets to Smith Center.....discount on your tab!

Restaurant is close to the Fremont Street Experience. It is nicely decorated and reminded you of the 1940s. Staff was nice and friendly. The food was great. Enjoyed!

We visit Siegel's 1941 every winter strictly for stone crab dinners they offer only on Fridays and Saturdays. The crabs are consistently excellent. This year they seemed a bit larger than usual. Very flavorful and fresh! Better than what we've tasted at other more-expensive restaurants on the Strip! We'll be back since, at $45, their stone crab dinner is a bargain!!

Friendly service. Got the pot roast which looked homemade. Calamari app. was a huge crunchy mix or rings and crispy legs. Large serving of Caesar salad. Lots of tables took home leftovers!

The hostess will help get the most of any points, comps and coupon a gambler might earn playing at El Cortez to use here. Friendly servers. Great prime rib specials.

I had hoped for a historic restaurant, but really everything was poor. The food, the service (even though they were nice, they were clearly understaffed and things took forever). Only thing I liked was the cocktail I had... only took them 20 minutes to make though. In the end still a 100 dollar check for some very poor food.

It was xmas and there was no comfort. The food (turkey) was lukewarm and unloving piled on the plate. The taste was not good either.
We were there one day before and had New York Steak, which was excellent.
All in all we would not visit the restaurant again because of the missing atmosphere.

Xmas lunch - they had no idea what they were doing and it really wasn't all that packed . Waitress came and asked if we wanted water. Yes please . Never saw her again. Another waitress took the food order delivered the food and delivered the wrong dessert . Soup was good, turkey was cold and the sweet pies were straight from the freezer. Glass of wine was nice but at $8 hardly worth it.
Went to pay the bill , the woman on the desk was in la la land. Didn't leave a tip . Apparently that is some sort of crime in the USA ( we are from Australia , where they actually pay their staff a decent wage )
Maybe try somewhere else .

Ordered orange vanilla soda (on the menu) but received regular orange. Servers were not concerned about our experience, answered a question and then walked away to see if we had any others (we did). Asked for a side of sour cream and she sprinted away before we could also ask for a second item she forgot. It was late and not at all busy but she clearly was annoyed to be working.

Food was quite good but the overall experience was not on par with other steakhouses in casinos.

Ordered their signature prime rib (medium rare). The au jus was watered down. Meat had the texture of a ham steak with absolutely no flavor. I dont even begin to understand how that was possible. And their "special reserve" coffee was so watered down and weak I wouldnt even call it coffee. More like a weak black tea. I wasnt expecting a gourmet meal but what was served was so substandard it should not have been served at all.

The El Cortez feels like it hasn't changed in years and the Seigel restaurant is the same way. That is the good news. It is old school Vegas. We had our Thanksgiving dinner there and enjoyed it very much. Two turkey dinners with all of the normal sides and a bottle of wine for $100, including the tip, is a good deal in Vegas. Our only complaint was the desert. They were out of the pecan pie and the apple pie. This left pumpkin pie as the only choice and neither of us are big fans. It was only 7:30 and reservations were required. Our waiter was very nice and brought my wife some ice cream, but Thanksgiving is the one time of year that requires pie. 🥧

Our family met in Vegas for the Thanksgiving holiday this year. I chose Siegel's 2942 because of its location and traditional menu for the holiday. Our service was excellent, food was great, overall a great place I would go back next time I'm in Vegas.

Half priced Senior Wednesdays are a terrific value at this fun retro Las Vegas restaurant! My favorites are the Cobb salad, salmon, and mushroom burger! ASK FOR LINDA! She is the best server!
