The food was very good but the staff was less than friendly. They mentioned they felt they were understaffed and while I do feel bad for them, if that is the case it’s not the customers fault and is unprofessional to act poorly towards us.
Service was slow. Waitress kept us waiting so long between courses we go up to leave twice. Will not go back.
We had called in to see if we could get an earlier reservation then what we had booked. The exasperated hostess did not think that she could get us in any earlier than 6:30 PM. When we were arrived, there were multiple open tables. Our waiter was nice, but would forget about us for quite some time while he spent time chatting with other guests. Probably not the best dining experience.
Great food, great service, super clean and consistently fabulous. Nice to eat on real plates with real silverware in a very comfortable setting. Shows old movies on the television like Maltese Falcon and original Oceans 11. We make a special trip to come here several times a year even though we stay at south end of the strip. Thank you to all the folks at Siegels.
We have been going here (El Cortez), since the 1960's. We celebrated our Dad's upcoming 102nd birthday on Monday, 11/22/2021. The food and staff were EXCELLENT! This is an "OLD SCHOOL" restaurant; meaning we are staying at Bellagio's and the restaurants are 5 times more expensive, Siegal 41 if 5 times better in every way. Please do not change a thing.
Thank you! Chad
Good food, service very good. Atmosphere was disappointing. Looked like a cafeteria, Bonanza or like establishment.
Full menu shown on Open Table not available. A smaller menu with less choice was presented.
Hidden gem. The food was great. The service very good and the atmosphere is perfect. The prime rib special is the best deal we found. We ate there in 2019 and our last 2 nights this trip. An added bonus is it is a 1 block walk to the Fremont St Experience and the El Cortez hotel has free parking.
Great service, cool atmosphere… looked like they were understaffed a bit, but they kept up & Elena was AMAZING. Very courteous and always at our table when we were almost in needs of something. Great time there!!
Prime Rib Special was definitely worth our price & time :)
Just there from Seattle with a friend.
We had the prime rib special for 14.95 cant beat the price. The meat was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were ok. The smashed potatoes with gravy were good. Would go back again. The history was cool, old time vegas vibe of 1941
I can't recommend this place. The food was not good, the coffee was barely warm. We ordered a cheesecake with strawberry sauce and it came with a tiny pet, a fruit fly!
1 well done steak was undercooked. Service was a little slow. Food was great! Limited draft beer menu.
Not the best service and average food.
Not happy. We had company in from Florida and thought they might be interested in the Stone Crab, we also gave them another restaurant as a seafood option. Our guest was excited about getting Stone Crab. I called ahead to be sure the Stone Crab was available as I know it can be limited in availability. I was assured it would be available after 5 pm, our reservation was for 7 pm. We wanted to start with Stone Crab and we’re told it is not available. What a let down. I explained the situation to our server, but it fell upon deaf ears. The food we got was mediocre at best.
We were very disappointed with the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was just okay. The prime rib was touted as amazing but I’ve had way better. The cut was tough. Just potatoes, no veggies. Potatoes were Luke warm. Price point was a bit high for what we received. Probably won’t ever go back. We wanted to enjoy the 80th anniversary party but the best part was the fireworks outside. Huge let down for me.
Awesome has never disappointed been here numerous times.
Nice place with reasonable prices. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the rest of the food was good also. Had some issues with our order, but the waitress quickly fixed them. I would dine here again.
The food was really good for the value. Defiantly get the prime rib and baked
Potato. Wow! Drinks were good and only $10 for mixed drinks.
Excellent food, prepared perfectly. Service was awesome and prices are reasonable.
Fun place in Old Vegas … feel like you will see Bugsy walking in any minute. Classic American breakfast was excellent.
Waitress was most helpful, meal serviceto table took a bit longer than in the past. Still a nice place to eat, see downtown.
Perfect throwback to the rat pack days!! The way Vegas should be.
Definitely want to have a reservation, but we enjoyed the prime rib and had great service!
On a busy Friday night here, glad I planned ahead and had my table ready for me! Get the prime rib SPECIAL!!
The nostalgia of Siegel's 1941 is top notch. I selected this restaurant due to the close location of our hotel on Fremont and the history of the building/area. Our server was great and the ambience was very relaxed. A great place to have a steak and drink - will definitely come here again when I am in Vegas.
A good place to have a sit down meal with inexpensive meals. Menu is limited but what we ate is any indication; the food is good.
Love this place. Food never disappoints. Would recommend
The service was horrible. It was a Birthday dinner. There was only 8 people in the total restaurant at 6:30 pm on a Friday. It took 20 min. to get served our waters after being ordered. Service was very poor the entire dinner experience. Will not return.
Cheap and affordable for those who are doing Vegas on a budget. Great wine, food, and desert!
The chicken sandwich didn't have any flavor, but it wasn't necessarily bad tasting. The bread pudding had raisins in it. The raisins ruined it.
Amazing place very quiet and clean service is great and friendly food is amazing
I was satisfied with the reservation and dinner
Though the staff at Siegels 1941 was clearly overworked and understaffed, the food came to us timely, hot and delicious and...the service couldn't have been better.
We always go for the prime rib, never disappoints
The food was outstanding and our waiter Jorge was great 👍 and made sure we had everything that we needed.
Food was good, good prices. Will recommend to friends and family.
We had lunch there using the comps before they expired. Same food as always but count on the service to be great.
We were seated right away with our reservation. Two of us had the prime rib special and one had a burger. All were very good. Would definitely go back again! Also, since staying at the hotel we were given a free bottle of wine
It took over 12 minutes just to get seated and we had reservations. Worst was it was it took 15 minutes to pay the check with the cashier it was basically incompetent
