It's a great, typical Vegas downtown hotel eatery. The only issue is the cigarette smoke that you can smell from the gamblers--since the restaurant is open to the casino. Otherwise, it's a great diner-type place, and great for a big group.

This was a unique dining experience where you felt like the Rat Pack was libel to wander in at any minute not that celebrity chef BS on the strip.

While vacationing in Las Vegas, we enjoy dining at Siegel’s because the food is delicious, large portions and always fresh. We also enjoy the quaintness of a nice restaurant that’s easy to talk to one another with a relaxing ambience.

Food was ok. Lady who seated us forgot to tell server so it took almost 20 minutes to place our order with no drinks. Once food came it was good, not the best but ok. Atmosphere was kinda cool. Everything looked a little worn.

Forget the Las Vegas Strip (leave that to the underage hipsters!) if you're 40 and older? You will find pleasant atmosphere on Fremont Street (if you're in your 50s and AARP age? I guarantee you will feel welcomed by a wonderful staff prepared to ensure you have a nice dining experience).

Took 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. Brought the wrong salad TWICE. chef came to apologize and blamed it all on his trainee. Said they'd buy us our drinks. Salad was $16 and they didn't even take it off our bill. It ended up arriving with our main course. Lady next to us was on speaker phone our ENTIRE dinner. I was taking a client to dinner here and was very very embarrassed.

Siegel's is a "Hit & Miss" type establishment. Some days are good some days you feel you should have eaten at Denny's® On this visit, My New York Strip, ordered Med Rare came out Rare and bleeding. The Delmonico potato's were still cold in the center. Ordered a side salad and got 25¢ worth of salad mix, 2 thinly sliced pieces of cucumber and 2 cherry tomatoes sliced in half. Including the dressing, I think the total cost to make the salad was 60¢ and they charge $5.00. Hey guys Lettuce is REAL CHEAP, give me a salad I can at least call a salad, not a cup full of lettuce and a hunt for any other veggies. Hey, the chicken fingers were good, but the fries weren't fresh. Like I said, some days are better.

Siegels offered us a good menu to purchase food from. It's in the freemont district so prepare to pay for parking. The food was good and the ambience was ok but the service was just normal. Nothing wrong with it just nothing exciting.

Seigels 1941 has raised it prices recently and have taken one of my favorite items off the regular menu, fresh walleye. The liver and onions I had was terrific, however the rest of the food was good but not great.

We read good reviews about Siegel’s and we weren’t disappointed. Really good portions. Food was served in a timely manner and our party of four all enjoyed what we ordered. The staff were very friendly. We will return and we liked the history of the El Cortez (on the national registry of historic locations).

We were in Las Vegas for a friends outing for 3 days.
I researched a few restaurants on Open Table and checked out the menu to make sure there was something for everyone.

The atmosphere looks like it has been there for many years with a huge picture of Bugsy Siegel on the wall. It was fairly empty and quiet inside.

My two friends had the $12.99 8oz Prime Rib special that included a baked potato, veggies and all the trimmings.
They said it was seasoned perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious.

I had the 1/2 Roasted Chicken with Veggies and it was very good. Maybe a slight bit too salty but the taste and value ($16.99) was terrific.

We definitely will come back on our next visit to Vegas.

The ROOM has Nice, old-style quality dining ambience . Food was good, but service not-so-much.
It took over 10 minutes to even see a server. We ordered DRINKS at the 15 minute mark and it took OVER 10 minutes more to get them. 25 minutes with no water, drink, not even a cracker or bread.
I asked WHY so slow, and they said overwhelmed, not enough servers. The place was 2/3 empty.
Asked for cheese on baked potato, and got none. Asked 3 separate times for a cupcake, doughnut, cake, or something for my Wife's BIRTHDAY... NOTHING was produced or offered.
SAD.

We were looking for an "old supper club" to celebrate a 50th birthday. The ambiance was truly Old Vegas. I thought there would be fantastic cocktails, and that the steaks would be superb. Unfortunately, Siegel's was far from what we were hoping for. There was little to offer in regards to a cocktail menu, and the server could not get the second round correct. Some of our group ordered the prime rib, and wanted it medium, but they were out. ONLY, they never came out to tell us they were out of medium, instead they just served them well done, which was hardly edible. Another wanted their steak well done, after sending the steak back three times, they almost got it cooked correctly. We asked about the "50 and over eat for 1/2 price on Wednesday" since we were there on a Wednesday to celebrate a 50th birthday. The server NEVER said, it's only on the select menu, all she said was "Yes" when we asked. Unfortunately, Siegel's was missing a manager that should have been overseeing the poor service.

Our dinner was ok, they just changed the menu so I was disappointed that they took items off from what was on the online menu. Need to remember to update. They really didn't seem to care that we had a reservation and were put at a table .. wouldn't let us select a better open table in the room

The food was excellent, however service was let down by the wrong drinks order being brought andd the drinks server could not understand when we tried to explain what we ordered. We were not warned that the spdesert had nuts on it nor was this mentioned on the menu. We were also given the wrong bill to start with. However, the atmosphere was pleasant and the steaks were cooked to perfection and very tasty. Despite the negative comments we enjoyed our meal and would not hesitate in going back again.

This is the perfect spot to start your day in Las Vegas. Our group of seven was attended to like we were the only customers in the place, yet the restaurant was full! Luba our waitress was awesome, Bloody Mary’s were perfect example of an old school drink before everyone started putting the entire kitchen in them. Everyone’s breakfast order was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere of this older establishment is fantastic. The cleanliness was fantastic. This is THE place for breakfast on every trip to Vegas going forward.

Don't plan on talking in a "normal tone of voice" here. The room is open to the casino and there are no sound absorption articles in the restaurant to keep the sound at a decent level. The food may be a little overpriced now with the recent hikes in prices. $12-$15 for a burger and a miniscule tiny basket of nasty tasting fries served on a "Prison Style" metal pan. $14 for a half a chicken that didn't get a chance to grow to maturity, then got baked to "Jerky Style". Don't expect too much if your looking for quality, taste, value or service. I would consider it "Overpriced Average".

Siegel's was a real pleasure! A group of us retired office workers meet for lunch every few months, and always try someplace new. Siegel's was our choice for this lunch, and we were all very pleased with the restaurants! Service was quick and easy, the location convenient for everyone, and the food was delicious! The senior specials on Wednesdays are especially appealing, and I can guarantee we will be back for more!
