Cod, seafood pasta and salmon tataki were fantastic. Server was very gracious, but got a bit busy and wine service was delayed. Overall a good experience with excellent food, can’t believe we haven’t been back in 10 years - will be back soon.

Sidney never disappoints with the high quality of their menu creations. Our server was very new to serving and was a bit overwhelmed, lacking in several areas such as silverware replacement, plate clearing etc. The dishes that Chef Neil is sending out make up for any table side service issues.

This was a perfect dining experience for us. A historic, lovingly preserved 1790 building, sizable wine list, unique menu offerings. Wait staff was attentive but not hovering. I had a shrimp salad and grilled pork chop, he had the Caesar salad and short ribs, then we split the dreamy chocolate cake for dessert. All was outstanding. We're about 1/2 hour away but worth the drive. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back.

My wife & I moved out to the area about six months ago, and were delighted to find Sidney Tavern just down the road - kind of a surprise out in East Berlin, PA! Amazing food, attentive, but not intrusive, service, and great ambiance.

We ate dinner on both Wed and Fri and on both days the food, ambiance, and service were excellent. This is definitely one of our go-to places when we visit Gettysburg - even though it is a bit of a drive, it is WELL worth it.

Our server-in-training did a lovely job making recommendations and discreetly providing serving and table clearance. Her trainer appeared top notch as well. Food and drinks were delicious and served at correct intervals to maximize our enjoyment. Cudos to the cooks and chef for great food combinations and correct temperatures for each dish. The sauces were a real highlight for each dish. Enthusiastically recommended.

Lovely old tavern. Great staff Food was disappointing Heard rave reviews about the burgers, but very dry. Not cooked improperly, just dry and crumbly. Not worth the cost.
