   We ate dinner on both Wed and Fri and on both days the food, ambiance, and service were excellent. This is definitely one of our go-to places when we visit Gettysburg - even though it is a bit of a drive, it is WELL worth it.

   Food just wasn’t to my liking. Service was good,wine was great,desserts were awesome but my steak not to my liking

   Our server-in-training did a lovely job making recommendations and discreetly providing serving and table clearance. Her trainer appeared top notch as well. Food and drinks were delicious and served at correct intervals to maximize our enjoyment. Cudos to the cooks and chef for great food combinations and correct temperatures for each dish. The sauces were a real highlight for each dish. Enthusiastically recommended.

   Lovely old tavern. Great staff Food was disappointing Heard rave reviews about the burgers, but very dry. Not cooked improperly, just dry and crumbly. Not worth the cost.

   Delicious food. Loved the pear salad. Well staffed and it was a very pleasant experience.

   Sidney’s is a quaint tavern but the room we were in was not able to accommodate a conversation as it is loud and very close quarters. And this was with just only a few tables occupied. Food was good but overpriced for the overall quality.

   I found this place via searching google with (fancy dining, fine dining, etc.) within my location. Neither I nor my now fiancé have never been here. I read the reviews and without a doubt I was not disappointed. The food and service are top notch. Super nice employees and the ambience is perfect for this atmosphere. It is a very old building turned into a wonderful dining experience. It was perfect for my after-dinner marriage proposal. I was not disappointed in anything. Great place for a dinner date, or whatever you want to call it. Highly recommend.

    Our server was very good but very busy, understandable on Valentine’s Day. We waited quite a while for orders to be taken, wine to be delivered. Food was outstanding; it was our first visit since pre-pandemic and it was very gratifying to find that the quality and creativity of the food was as impressive as before. We are happy that the wine dinners are being resumed and have already made our reservation for the next one.
