We are privately owned and managed by Chef Neil Annis. Chef Neil and his culinary team create amazing dishes using fresh, local, clean ingredients. Much of what we create is "farm to table", based on season, market, and what is the best of local ingredients. Every event menu is customized, therefore, we do not have "packages" like most other venues. Chef and the event coordinator work closely ensure each host is receiving what they want at an affordable and fair cost to them.

The food was very good; obviously a great chef in the kitchen! The waitress was very awkward—not approachable. The restaurant is a prior country club, with a setting on the golf course. There is very little traffic at this restaurant, and apparently there’s only one or two Uber or lift drivers in town. It took us 45 minutes just to catch a Uber driver back to Gettysburg. The night was very enjoyable though, nice evening, good weather and we did not mind sitting outside and waiting for the driver. Although it was a quiet place with low energy, the food was top notch which is why we came.

Food was novel and deliscious. I had salmon. My friend had brisket. Both deliscious. Chef brought a small appetizer out on a complementary basis. The soup and the Brussels sprouts appetizers were to die for. Need reservations.

Service was spotty with rather long absences throughout the evening. Diners were split between the outside porch and the bar area. The friendly and apologetic wait staff was too few to handle all the tables in two locations. Service is the difference between an extraordinary evening and an OK evening. That said, the food and wine were awesome.

Went for Easter brunch and the buffet was very good with lots of food options. Our only complaint was that we were charged for a bottle of water when we said still instead of sparkling. Guess we should have indicated "tap"...

It’s a lovely setting, near the former golf course, serving creatively presented and delicious food. Nice service. A favorite, for sure!

Our first time at Sidney will not be our last. The service we received at the bar was superb, and the food was just as phenomenal. We can’t wait until our next dinner at Sidney.

We’ve been to Sidney numerous times and have had a great time at each. As usual, the service was stellar with real heads-up attention. Only real issue was that a serving of monkfish was somewhat overcooked and wound-up a little dry and didn’t really pick up on the seasonings in the dish. Peta and hummus, along with Brussel sprouts and mushrooms were all to share and everyone fought over the last bits. My Pekin Duck was absolutely the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and just the perfect temperature, on the rare side. My whipped potatoes we so perfect, I almost thought they were fake! My wife’s serving of swordfish with white beans was superb, I was told. The fish was moist and picked up the light seasoning very well. A generous piece of Black Angus sirloin required a serious “doggie-bag”, and a serving of Coho salmon was nicely paired with spaghetti squash and a thyme au-jus. Everything was washed-down with a wonderful, modestly priced bottle of brut sparkling wine. Perfect! No desert at Sidney, however. We retired by my place for some fruit and glasses of Taylor Fladgate. Happy-happy!

Always a wonderful experience. We always come back every year for our anniversary, we we're so spoiled when we lived in the neighborhood and could have more often. We look forward to the drive up and the meal every year. We are never disappointed and service is always incredible, as with the meal!
