The signature steak is the best! Great service very attentive. I called ahead to notify them it was a birthday dinner - the complementary desert was lovely!

Surf and Turf special season menu was not what we were expecting. The “surf” was either the option of some small shrimp (and I mean teeny tiny) or salmon. Ah sorry, but where’s the traditional lobster or king prawn option? Nice try but will not be recommending or returning for this “special”. I can see why you don’t list this special surf and turf menu on your website - we would’ve seen it beforehand and given it a miss. Special occasion never mentioned or acknowledged. Just another average, overpriced meal.

Overall the experience was excellent. Outstanding food and service was great up until the end of the main course. After that our server wasn't very attentive and was 100% focused on a single diner who sat next to us and seemed to need a lot of attention. The desserts especially the lemon tart, were excellent. The steak to die for and great food for kids. The prices are a challenge certainly the most expensive I've experienced in whistler and I'm up here 40% of my time. It's a special treat for sure.

One of our favorites - did not disappoint! Only issue is getting a reservation - it seems as if thy give the hotel guests priority.

We enjoyed Sidecut for years for the Cowboy, which is no longer on the menu. The food is delicious and the service impeccable. However, because Sidecut is the hotel restaurant for the Four Seasons, there are too many tables of families with young children who are all over the place. When I go to a restaurant as expensive as Sidecut, I do not want to have the Maitre d’ handing out coloring sheets along with the wine list. The Cowboy kept us coming back; now that it is gone so are we.

The ambience and food at side cut were very good but the prices for the food and especially the wine were very expensive! The restaurant mark up for the same bottle of wine that could be purchased at the BC liquor store was more than 3 times more. As a result we did not order wine with our meal.
The restaurant was also very busy and it was difficult to get the waiters attention to order our food and then again when I realized that the cocktail that I ordered had been made incorrectly and had to be remade.
I have been to Sidecut on at least 4 other occasions and found the food and service this time was disappointing!

We went for my wife’s birthday and everything was excellent. Valet your car and your waiter validates you. Management came over to check on us. We did the three course meal. Added oysters. And has a few drinks and the price was very reasonable. Steaks were excellent. I would definitely point people to Sodecuts for a enjoyable evening meal.

Steak was on point. Had an awesome 3course surf and turf meal with my husband. The steak course was simple so if you like steak with more you should add a side of some kind, but we thought the meal with dessert was perfect. Plus their bread to start off the night was delicious.
Wine by the glass is not cheap, but what do you expect from a Four Seasons located restaurant.

We have been to Sidecut many times but were disappointed with the value this time. The food was certainly good but everything came lukewarm - not sure how long it had been waiting to be served. The service was not unfriendly, but not engaged either.
Not a bad experience, but certainly not up to usual Four Seasons standards and not acceptable given the very high prices.

We came in for Valentine's Day and it was perfect in all aspects. It was our first time at your restaurant, although we do frequent the lounge . We look forward to coming back and sitting outside in the summer as we have a home in the benchlands and spend much time in Whistler in the summer season as well.

Service was great, and , for the most part, so was the food. One of my guests had the striploin steak and it was cooked to his liking but the meat was very "grissly".

I had the Japanese wagyu. Flawless preparation and delicious. Extensive choices of sides but decided on 2: asparagus with hollandaise and squash with sage and truffle. Both were exceptional. Bar drinks and wine list varied and reasonable. Service was friendly and comfortable. If you are visiting Whistler and love good food this is a must on your list!!

We celebrated three birthdays last Saturday. The staff was wonderful and went the extra mile making it special with lovely cake slices with a personalized message written on the plates in raspberry sauce. Food was absolutely delicious!!! A+++. Especially recommend the sable fish and wagu steak. Highly recommend!

This might have been one of the best meals I have ever had. We each had steak which was excellent, but the sides of vegetables and the bread were amazing! The service was great, attentive yet not too close so you could enjoy your guest without interruption. Also, in the bar, our waitress was a 10+! Overall, fabulous!

We decided to eat at Sidecut for our Chirstmas dinner on December 25 2017. We knew that it was a buffet and how much it cost per person. This was a very expensive treat for our family's first time to Whistler. At $150pp we were disappointed. The food was room temperature or cold. We would have preferred fewer selections and the food to have been warm to hot. $150 per person does not include any beverage at all which we did not realize until they charged us $6 for a cup of coffee at the end of the meal, we drank water with our meal. The restaurant required us to prepay for our meal. We did prepay because every other restaurant was booked for that night and as it was Christmas dinner and there were no other options. I am sure that Sidecut for a sit down meal would be fine under other circumstances but I do not recommend them for their buffet at Christmas

This was our 3rd dinner here and we were so horribly disappointed we most likely won't go back. We waited over 1 hr and 45 mins to receive our main course after our appetizers!!!! That was beyond ridiculous! Then when we complained...we waited another 30 mins! When we did finally receive our dinner....must husbands $73 steak was very undercooked. Beyond disappointed. It definitely ruined our family's Thanksgiving dinner.

We were impressed with his customer service, his knowledge of the menu, and how he personally enhanced the whole dining experience . The food was delicious and we can't wait to go back.
