This brunch is amazing!!! Strange combination (focus on dim sum) but so delicious!! The smoked salmon bennies and churros with caramel sauce are a must try! We'll be back!

We shared the 48 ounce rib-eye steak and it was excellent. Service was very attentive. It was an enjoyable meal albeit a little on the expensive side.

We came in for Valentine's Day and it was perfect in all aspects. It was our first time at your restaurant, although we do frequent the lounge . We look forward to coming back and sitting outside in the summer as we have a home in the benchlands and spend much time in Whistler in the summer season as well.

Service was great, and , for the most part, so was the food. One of my guests had the striploin steak and it was cooked to his liking but the meat was very "grissly".

I had the Japanese wagyu. Flawless preparation and delicious. Extensive choices of sides but decided on 2: asparagus with hollandaise and squash with sage and truffle. Both were exceptional. Bar drinks and wine list varied and reasonable. Service was friendly and comfortable. If you are visiting Whistler and love good food this is a must on your list!!

We celebrated three birthdays last Saturday. The staff was wonderful and went the extra mile making it special with lovely cake slices with a personalized message written on the plates in raspberry sauce. Food was absolutely delicious!!! A+++. Especially recommend the sable fish and wagu steak. Highly recommend!

This might have been one of the best meals I have ever had. We each had steak which was excellent, but the sides of vegetables and the bread were amazing! The service was great, attentive yet not too close so you could enjoy your guest without interruption. Also, in the bar, our waitress was a 10+! Overall, fabulous!

We decided to eat at Sidecut for our Chirstmas dinner on December 25 2017. We knew that it was a buffet and how much it cost per person. This was a very expensive treat for our family's first time to Whistler. At $150pp we were disappointed. The food was room temperature or cold. We would have preferred fewer selections and the food to have been warm to hot. $150 per person does not include any beverage at all which we did not realize until they charged us $6 for a cup of coffee at the end of the meal, we drank water with our meal. The restaurant required us to prepay for our meal. We did prepay because every other restaurant was booked for that night and as it was Christmas dinner and there were no other options. I am sure that Sidecut for a sit down meal would be fine under other circumstances but I do not recommend them for their buffet at Christmas

This was our 3rd dinner here and we were so horribly disappointed we most likely won't go back. We waited over 1 hr and 45 mins to receive our main course after our appetizers!!!! That was beyond ridiculous! Then when we complained...we waited another 30 mins! When we did finally receive our dinner....must husbands $73 steak was very undercooked. Beyond disappointed. It definitely ruined our family's Thanksgiving dinner.

My husband and I went there about 1 1/2 years ago for dinner, and our server Damien remembered us and also what we had ordered. We were impressed with his customer service, his knowledge of the menu, and how he personally enhanced the whole dining experience . The food was delicious and we can't wait to go back.

Service was really good but the food were a great disappointment. The steak was so tough I could barely chew on it and the steak tasted bitter from the burnt dry rub seasoning. The seafood were such a waste to be cooked on the grill because again they tasted bitter from the burnt. Even the toast from the mussel dish was burnt. Overall, I do not recommend going there for steak.

The Sidecut restaurant would be an excellent night out but for one thing. It's way overpriced, especially the wine list. A 25$ bottle of wine seems to be 80$ -100$. If you're not on an expense account and even if you were, it just seems irresponsible. The 40$ main course doesn't include a side so you add on 2 sides for a normal plate.
It's a nice experience until you get the bill and then you decide you wouldn't go back. It's a shame.

I love steak and this restaurant is rated top 100 by Forbes so I was expecting the best steak I've ever had. Did I get that? no . but it was pretty good. We were at Hy's the day before so the comparison was fresh in my mind. I asked for med rare and got it raw... well not blue, but near that,,, and I sent it back,, it was still rare when I got it back ,, and it didn't taste like much. It was also more expensive.. Now that said, I was here about two weeks ago for one of their Thursday night bbq's and the spread was incredible ! live band, tons of food and lots of variety,, outdoor seating and a great vibe. I would definitely come again and give it another go with the steak.

Also, to note, the couple beside us on my steak night was celebrating their 51st anniversary,.. they were so cute, so in love still and super friendly. We had a nice little chat -- people around as and staff were very friendly on both occasions that I have been here. Recommend but if you are on a budget and want a guaranteed perfect steak id actually hit Hy's.. Side cut has better vibe and ambiance. Your choice

The food was great and the service was impeccable . I do feel however that the it is a bit overpriced. I guess that is what you get when you have a restaurant in the 4 seasons hotel.

Good Experience and I would go back for drinks.

We had a wonderful time at Sidecut. The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make our anniversary dinner memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I had the sable fish which was very fresh, flaky, and mild. My wife had the corn and jalapeño gratin. It had a lovely rich texture. She prefers spicy food and the chef was willing to add extra peppers at her request. It seemed like a simple preparation so I think I will try to recreate it at home.

For dessert we had the Canadian Maple Souffle. It was terrific. It is a small dessert but the perfect size for sharing. Best of all, it is not too sweet. Too many restaurants put too much sugar in their desserts but this is not the case at Sidecut.

If the weather permits, ask for a table outside on the patio. The surrounding gardens and water feature are very peaceful.

Second visit on our annual trip to whistler. Chose because we wanted good quality food and wines. Didn't disappoint - good service again this year. Waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Wanted to sit on the patio but due to the smoke in the air from the fires (far away from Whistler but affecting all BC) the patio was closed. They gave my son and I a lovely table by the window instead. Would go again. Not overpriced and paid what one would expect for a very nice experience.
