This brunch is amazing!!! Strange combination (focus on dim sum) but so delicious!! The smoked salmon bennies and churros with caramel sauce are a must try! We'll be back!
We shared the 48 ounce rib-eye steak and it was excellent. Service was very attentive. It was an enjoyable meal albeit a little on the expensive side.
Valentines Day. Lovely experience.
We came in for Valentine's Day and it was perfect in all aspects. It was our first time at your restaurant, although we do frequent the lounge . We look forward to coming back and sitting outside in the summer as we have a home in the benchlands and spend much time in Whistler in the summer season as well.
Service was great, and , for the most part, so was the food. One of my guests had the striploin steak and it was cooked to his liking but the meat was very "grissly".
Great food and service!
Great staff. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. As were the menu choices.
We have been before; we will definitely go again.
I had the Japanese wagyu. Flawless preparation and delicious. Extensive choices of sides but decided on 2: asparagus with hollandaise and squash with sage and truffle. Both were exceptional. Bar drinks and wine list varied and reasonable. Service was friendly and comfortable. If you are visiting Whistler and love good food this is a must on your list!!
They need to learn how to serve Alaskan King Crab legs, pre cooking and heating it up in microwave just does not cut it
We enjoyed the food which was all very fresh and prepared well. The atmosphere improved once the restaurant filled up.
The bar looked like a fun place to have a casual drink, meal as well
We celebrated three birthdays last Saturday. The staff was wonderful and went the extra mile making it special with lovely cake slices with a personalized message written on the plates in raspberry sauce. Food was absolutely delicious!!! A+++. Especially recommend the sable fish and wagu steak. Highly recommend!
This might have been one of the best meals I have ever had. We each had steak which was excellent, but the sides of vegetables and the bread were amazing! The service was great, attentive yet not too close so you could enjoy your guest without interruption. Also, in the bar, our waitress was a 10+! Overall, fabulous!
Amazing, attentive and genuinely enthusiastic service. The most gorgeous dining room I’ve ever seen. Tasteful and understated elegance.
Everything was excellent!
They met my dietary needs effortlessly.
Great steaks, excellent sides, delicious mussels. I can’t wait to go back and try other items. Fantastic wait staff! Well done Side-cut!
A couple of the steaks were unexpectedly dry. Was very noisy. Was expensive. Was ok
Very average food for a very high price.
Exceptional service by Damien. We had the most delicious meat in a long time ! We can’t wait to come back. Desserts and wine are a must !
We decided to eat at Sidecut for our Chirstmas dinner on December 25 2017. We knew that it was a buffet and how much it cost per person. This was a very expensive treat for our family's first time to Whistler. At $150pp we were disappointed. The food was room temperature or cold. We would have preferred fewer selections and the food to have been warm to hot. $150 per person does not include any beverage at all which we did not realize until they charged us $6 for a cup of coffee at the end of the meal, we drank water with our meal. The restaurant required us to prepay for our meal. We did prepay because every other restaurant was booked for that night and as it was Christmas dinner and there were no other options. I am sure that Sidecut for a sit down meal would be fine under other circumstances but I do not recommend them for their buffet at Christmas
Great service, great food and relaxing.
Amazing food and excellent service! Will definitely dine here again.
Went for a birthday celebration and it was exceptional! Ask for the chocolate cake, it's not on the menu but it is what chocolate dreams are made of!!
The staff was outstanding.
This was our 3rd dinner here and we were so horribly disappointed we most likely won't go back. We waited over 1 hr and 45 mins to receive our main course after our appetizers!!!! That was beyond ridiculous! Then when we complained...we waited another 30 mins! When we did finally receive our dinner....must husbands $73 steak was very undercooked. Beyond disappointed. It definitely ruined our family's Thanksgiving dinner.
Everything about our evening was outstanding ! From food quality , knowledgeable and personable staff , highly recommend!
One of the best places to eat in Whistler. Everything from the service to the food was excellent!!
prie fix menu done by some, al la cart by others. Was not bad but did not exceed our expectations. Some plastic and remodeling being done in front of restaurant
My husband and I went there about 1 1/2 years ago for dinner, and our server Damien remembered us and also what we had ordered. We were impressed with his customer service, his knowledge of the menu, and how he personally enhanced the whole dining experience . The food was delicious and we can't wait to go back.
This is the second time I have been to Side cut and it was just as amazing as the last time. I would highly recommend it.
Service was really good but the food were a great disappointment. The steak was so tough I could barely chew on it and the steak tasted bitter from the burnt dry rub seasoning. The seafood were such a waste to be cooked on the grill because again they tasted bitter from the burnt. Even the toast from the mussel dish was burnt. Overall, I do not recommend going there for steak.
The Sidecut restaurant would be an excellent night out but for one thing. It's way overpriced, especially the wine list. A 25$ bottle of wine seems to be 80$ -100$. If you're not on an expense account and even if you were, it just seems irresponsible. The 40$ main course doesn't include a side so you add on 2 sides for a normal plate.
It's a nice experience until you get the bill and then you decide you wouldn't go back. It's a shame.
