Sibley Gardens Ratings and Reviews
Not my first time at Sibley Gardens and it won't be my last. The Steak Sammy is my go-to dish, and it always is perfection. I love the asparagus side; always cooked perfectly too. We split the goat cheese Napolean dish, and that was excellent as well.
I tried the Bourbon Lemonade drink on their special drinks menu, and it was good.
The only downside was our creme brulee was completely overcooked. The custard was very dry, which is not normal for this restaurant.
I absolutely recommend Sibley Gardens, and make sure you get the Steak Sammy.
We were at Sibley's to celbrate my wife's birthday on a Friday night. We were seated immediately with our reservation. The restaurant was fairly crowded for a Friday night. The food was exceptional. We have not been to Sibley's for a couple of years and we are sorry we waited so long to come back. The food, service and atmosphere was fantasic. I would recommend Sibley's for casual dining or any special event.
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner and we were very disappointed with our dinner, my baked potato came out only barely warm along with my wife’s green beans, my prime rib was also barely warm. Our waitress was embarrassed, but it wasn’t her fault, the cooks should never send out an order like that
Service was really remarkable. Food was outstanding. Steak and lemony chicken with artichokes and capers. Tip--ask to sit in the bar part if the restaurant when making your reservation. Very old school and cool vibe. The side we were seated accommodated large groups, so it was a bit loud. Still, the food and service were great.
This is a favorite place for our family. With family in from out of state, it was the logical choice for a quiet dinner. We always request a booth on the cozy bar side. The food and service are always stellar. The Sammy III and the filet mignon, outstanding. Nice wine list and nicely crafted cocktails.
We attended an outdoor concert in the area and I discovered Sibley Garden through the Open Table app and the rating and description led us to make a reservation. The restaurant was listed as a local favorite and our experience echoed that.
What stood out was the great service from our server, Karen, who was attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was above average and consistent to the Italian genre.
We've been coming here for a couple of years now for relaxing Friday late night dinners unwinding from the week, very good dinners from a nice selection, very good service. Unfortunately we lost our Italian restaurant with it's fine sauces here in Monroe to new owners bent to fix what was not broken. So lately we have started to make the 35 minute drive during the week when we feel like a good pasta dinner. Their meaty tomato sauce is delicious..! Worth the drive.! It's hard to find a good meaty tomato sauce and Sibley Gardens hits the spot. You'll love the flavors and won't go home hungry.
Food was alright at best and for the price I would not recommend it. The atmosphere and beauty of the restraunt is what is holding it together. I would recommend them to try new recipes and add stuff to their old ones, give people a reason not to just go eat at Olive Garden or go get outback.
