We wanted to try something different so we saw Si Bon's ad on the web. The French and European style was appealing, so we gave it a try. The mussels were fantastic and plentiful. The wagyu flat iron steak was so tender I could cut it with my fork. But for my wife and I, the Lobster salad was the star of the show; it was huge and delicious. My wife had a deliciously crisp chardonnay, and I was thrilled with a glass of Belgian Chamay ale that is one of the worlds best brews. Three days in Palm Desert, three visits to Si Bon. The service is remarkable. Everyone is incredibly polite, courteous, responsive, diligent, and very knowledgeable. The menu items are creative and so delectable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner selections are all appealing and desired. Can't wait to return.

Food was wonderful as usual. Rack of Lamb was perfect for my wife and Sea Bass perfect for me. Was cold so ate in not as nice as eating out which would have been good as the heater and shades made the patio warm

One of my favorite restaurants in the desert, because the food is consistently good. The service is outstanding, and I’m always very comfortable whenever I dine there. The menu is diversified, although I have my favorite which is chicken salad with papaya. I can always find something that I enjoy.

Seated on time. Waiter, Miguel Z. was very friendly and efficient - he was a pleasure. All of the "bus personnel were good and available when and if needed. We never had to wait for a refill or anything. Each entre was good and portions were generous in size. The wines were nice and the selection was fine. Even the house wines were good and fairly priced. The entrees were a little overpriced (Seafood Pasta $34.00; Lobster Salad $36.00) Overall a very good experience for a local restaurant with a very pleasant and helpful staff.

We were pleasantly surprised by our dinner last night. Friends had recommended the place last winter, but we didn't have the opportunity then. The food was beyond expectation, in particular the modules, sandals and fettuccine Alfredo. Our other member of the group ordered the fried chicken with sauce on the side. It arrived with sauce on the chicken, at which time Raoul, our server, acknowledged the error, apologized and replaced the entree with the correct substitute. It proved to be delicious, especially the crispy waffle. Overall, the food was extremely tasty and the service exceptional. We will return here during the winter season. One of the best meals we have had in the desert.

My wife and I are regular customers of Si Bon and keep coming back because of the meals and the staff. It’s a Coachella Valley Gem. They have fantastic separate Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner menus with Every Day Daily Specials. We especially love the Shrimp Salad at Lunchtime l.

Last time food was excellent. But this time all 4 of us had cold food. So our waffles were rubbery, custard was warm along with berries, and crepes and eggs were stone cold.

A delicious experience! A bit disappointed that they were out of the duck special, but the mussels were an excellent second choice. The onion soup had a nice amount of cheese and wasn't overly salty. Everyone in the group enjoyed their entrees and the macadamia tart for dessert was incredible. Our server was excellent, too. Really only complaint is that the red wine was served too cold, but understand that it's out of a wine dispenser.

First time dining at Si Bon and it was a fantastic evening all around. They were very busy but it didn't feel rushed, The food was well prepared and quite delicious. Our server was also great, making sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The dinner food is good enough. I’ve eaten there several times for dinner, and have decided that for the same high price point I prefer other dinner restaurants. My friend had liver and onions. She’s a long time lover of this dish, but said it was just okay. I do love the stroganoff, however I had the sand dabs. They were good, however the green beans were very over cooked, on the mushy side. Cocktails here are always good, however I opted out this night. I will stick to going for lunch.

Only disappointment was the Braised Short Ribs ... too much fat on it. The Manager did take it off the bill... not sure how they sent it out of the kitchen like that.
