Shula’s is an amazing restaurant. The service was top-notch. Our waiter, Brian, anticipated our every need. He was attentive, but not too much. Brian made our birthday celebration extra special. We ordered a petite filet, and a roasted half-chicken. Our sides were the Shula’s salad (yummy), steamed broccoli and poached asparagus. The petite file was cooked to perfection, but honestly the roasted chicken knocked our socks off. I’ve never tasted chicken that good. The whole experience was exceptional. Shula’s is so much better than the other steakhouses in the area.
These guys are truly amazing!! My wife and I had our anniversary here and I was able to deliver flowers a few hours before they opened and they had champagne sitting at the table for us and the food was amazing. Will definitely be back and highly recommend going to this steakhouse. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Jennifer you and your team are amazing.
Been there when they first opened , was extremely elegant and very pricey.
Wanted to treat my wife for our 39th anniversary.
No special treatment .
Food was good / not bad but not terrific
Prices were fair
The ambiance was nice
We dressed according
Very disappointed they let anybody dine there ,
What I mean
Flip flops , shorts, t shirts etc
Took the whole experience to crap with that .
Food and service were awesome!
Amazing time, even better meal. Great place for any occasion. The service by Alejandro was spectacular!!
I enjoy this restaurant every time I am in the Phoenix area. They have great food, great service and the atmosphere is wonderful. I would encourage everyone who has a chance to eat there.
This place is not that great, the food was ok for the price
25th wedding anniversary
The service was terrible. This is no longer fine dining. They brought me the wrong dish 3x to find out they no longer have what is on the menu. It was extremely loud in there, kept hahah to say , what did you say. Will not go back .
Food mostly terrible. Crab cake was good and the potatoes were good. Cream corn was terrible, the steak was just ok, not worth the money. The lobster bisque was more like a thick gravy. Will not be returning.
I hate to give this type of review but I was greatly disappointed during my most recent visit. The service we received was less than subpar and the food did not meet the expectations I have for Shula's. When paying these types of prices, I would expect the wait staff to be courteous, provide details on the menu options, and not act like you are a bother for asking questions about options that are available. Not only that, one of our steaks was seriously overcooked.
Not sure if I will be going to Shula's considering there are so many other options available in the Valley.
Service and food were top notch and could not have asked for better. My only gripe would be that according to the website is that they have a dress code that is clearly not followed.
Steak was sub par. Drinks, sides, appetizers were amazing. Our server was outstanding.
The server was friendly and unobtrusive. The filet was as good as I remembered - a visit to the Houston Shula's 5 years ago.
We has the oysters and calamari for appetizers. The calamari was some of the most tender I've had. Very good and not chewey. I didn't thy the oysters, but they did come with 3 dipping sauces, however our server wasn't sure what they were. The lobster bisque was very disappointing. A few small crumbs of lobster on top, and the bisque had no lobster flavor. It was pretty horrible actually. The Caesar salad was great. Lots of garlic. I had the 6 oz filet. I like my steak "pink". They did a great job. At other restaurants I've had to send my steak back twice before it wasn't red and bloody. The augratins had too much onlon for my taste, but others might like it. Both my sons had the cowboy ribeye and loved it, although they said it could use more seasoning, but you couldn't tell by their licked clean plates. My husband had the scallops, very tender & flavorful. The creamed corn accompanied them well (who'd have thought!). We also ordered the lemon tart. The lemon part was excellent, as was the crust, but was disappointed to discover the meringue wasn't just the topping. It went all the way through, So you had a small ring of lemon, and the rest was all meringue. We dined in one of the side rooms. There was only one other couple there, so it was quiet. Overall, it was a wonderful evening. We will be back.
Shula's prepares a perfect martini and their Halibut Oscar is both beautiful and decadent. We come here whenever we are in town from California. It is always wonderful and never disappoints. The service is first class and the steaks are amazing!
A great place for dinner, fantastic service and really good food. We took all the time we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will be back.
Love the food and way the ace looked
The service was excellent
The service was GREAT. The ambiance was nice. The bread was warm and tasty. The Waygu meatball was phenomenal! I gave a 3 star on the food because I was extremely disappointed on the ribeye steak. They cooked it temperature wise as requested which was medium rare plus. Unfortunately the steak didn’t taste like anything more than meat thrown on the heat without anything. It was bland. My son and I agreed our steaks were missing flavor.
Geeat American Steakhouse experience. Sit, relax, have a civil conversation in a great dining room. Service is excellent, so is the food. They pay keen attention to detail, snd every bite is delicious.
We’re coming back soon!
The man that made this feedback happen is named "MARIO". Not only was he professional, he was seasoned in his profession that he paced out all our courses did not rush us, was charming, I left feeling I didn't leave enough tip. I would ask for him again and again, he made our night very memorable. THANK YOU MARIO!
Food was delicious but very small portions for very rich prices. I would dine there again if it wasn't for that.
My wife had the twin lobster tails which were delicious, I had to try some. The halibut was great. Have never been disappointing having been there numerous times.
It was a fantastic way to spend my wife's birthday!
The food and service was excellent! A bit pricey but it was very good for a special occasion.
Food was fabulous- from the scallops to the shrimp cocktail, to the Caesar salad to the filet to the halibut to the dirty martinis to the wine to the bread to the cheesecake. Can you tell I LOVED every bite / sip ?
The service and food are top notch always at Shula's. It was my boyfriends Birthday and they gave us a huge piece of chocolate cake. They were also very kind to my sister out of state on the phone that wanted to surprise us with an appetizer. She just gushed about the level of customer service she got on the phone. This restaurant is a 10+ in our opinion all the way around.
Great experience. However our table was in an area with a large screen TV which is distracting and changes the ambiance. Noise level more than expected for fine dining
The food was amazing our server was outstanding. I would recommend this place to my friends for sure.
Shula’s food is always fantastic, I really can’t ever find areas of improvement there. With that being said, my last trip did leave a bit to be desired. The once rather strict dress code is no longer enforced and I feel this takes away from the dining experience. I am in no way some stuck up snob, but when telling my wife of Shula’s and the experience of “fine dining” then walking into T-shirts and flip flops, takes away from the ambiance. The only other disappointment we had that night was when ordering our main course. The waitress asked if we wanted our ribeye bone in or bone out but neglected to inform us that choosing bone in was an additional $15 per steak compared to the bone out. While it wasn’t a gigantic deal, I mean we still ate and very much enjoyed our meal, the extra unanticipated price jump was a bit of a shock.
Aside from these two negatives, everyone else was satisfactory. The food was fantastic, service was amazing and overall our experience made for a wonderful much needed date night.
all the food was great, drinks were good and service was outstanding, a bit noisy with the casino, and a bit crowded too, reasonable value for the cost.
Shula’s is always the right choice, great food and customer service
Our Moscow mules were not very good. Baked potatoes, steaks were good. Scallops tasted good but the corn tasted weird and Mac and cheese was a little dry. Service was great but food was mediocre which is surprising for the price
Overall experience was nice, it just felt very rushed. We were not told about specials, we did not get bread (no big deal but noticed other tables had it). As soon as one course was finished the next one was right there. The food was great it just felt like it was more of a turn-and-burn type restaurant.
We eat out every friday a fine dinning restaurants and we found Shulas to be mediocre at best very over rated.
Had a fantastic experience! Food was delicious and service was great.
While the meal my wife and I had was nice, there was nothing about it that made it worth the $165 I paid. The servers were attentive & the food was OK but the price was at lease twice what it was worth. There was NO table cloth on the table & I had to ask a server for salt and pepper. All in all while it was an OK experience I seriously doubt that I will return.
Our experience was the best. The food and service were amazing. We had people with us that had never eaten at Shula's. They were very impressed.
We all did notice that it seemed a bit noisy. It was no problem, we just commented on it. We enjoyed our evening at Shula's.
Great Food, Great service! My Boyfriend had the rib eye, and loved it!I recommend the Macaroni and Cheese, Delicious!
