We were seated promptly, and to our surprise, our favorite Waitress, Lana, was working and we were seated in her section. Our food was cooked to perfection and was super delicious as always.

We've been customers of Shula's at Wild Horse Pass for about a year and have greatly enjoyed the food and the attention provided by the excellent servers. We went on our 21st wedding anniversary on April 15 and asked for a favorite server. We had to wait nearly 1/2 hour for our reservation to be filled due to a concert (ironically when we arrived a lot of people were leaving and at the time we were the only ones in the lobby). When we were seated, we had a nice plaque indicating our anniversary, but we did not see a server for about another 15 minutes. The table was incorrectly set, we were not served any water, nor asked if we wanted any. And the entire experience seemed to be less personal than what we had been experiencing. When they gave us a complimentary dessert, it was not our server who brought and they just plopped it on the table with the words enjoy. All in all, we've had much better experiences than on this night and it was a real disappointment as we were celebrating a very special occasion. This restaurant had been our big choice for dinner, but now, we are going to look at other options.

we have been here five times in the last four months as it is difficult to find restaurants of this caliber in the metropolitan area to compare to Shulas...we'll be back, again and again.

We took my wife's parents there because of the great steak and sea food dishes. We were not dissapointed. The calamari/ steak/ clams/ were delicious. The service was exceptional. Jeff our waiter is the best. Right on top of everything. We did not have lobster that night , but their lobster is excellent as well. We were all very pleased with the experience at Shula's.

We are from out of town but every time we visit Wild Horse Pass we make sure we to include Shula's restaurant on our list. the food is fantastic, the waitress staff is exceptional and the atmosphere is always above the rest. Our trips usually include a golf outing and we are not worried about being under dressed. I would recommend it many time over.

We have had the pleasure of having Marco as our waiter many times over the past 3 years. Every time he makes our dining experience unforgettable .......he topped off my wife's birthday dinner by singing Happy Birthday to her in Italian.

There are few places where the service, ambiance and food all come together to provide a true fine dining experience that you want to repeat over and over. Shula's is one of those. Thanks for the great experiences.

At the servers taking of our order, she stated the chefs recommendation of the cooking of our steaks. Big mistake! Our steaks lost most of their flavor and juiciness because of being over cooked!

Excellent food and service, but a bit pricey to go there often. $49 just for a steak and sauce, and then $10 for a baked potato, and another $10 for asparagus is a bit much.

Great quality food - prepared to perfection!
Service was impeccable and attentive -- without being intrusive!
Extensive wine list
Shula's has become our go-to place for a quality dining experience.
However --
Amazing that some people will go to an upscale restaurant and dress inappropriately! Tank tops and cut offs are never acceptable! And somehow coincides with their inappropriate behavior! Makes a negative atmosphere for others!

We were staying in the Chandler area and thought a steak might be a good option one night. We've eaten at many of the major nation-wide steak chains and Shula's was not comparable. We had oysters for an appetizer and they were large and fresh and the wine list was good with decent prices. However, that's where it ended. The herb wine sauce was thickened with probably cornstarch, making it a gloppy, tasteless mess. The mushrooms too had no flavor nor did the baked potato, which arrived semi-cold. However, the steak was the biggest letdown -- it was cooked right, medium rare, but the meat itself was not a bit juicy or flavorful, almost as if it had been overdosed with meat tenderizer.
Our service was very good, attentive but not overly intrusive. The hard sell on Shula's history by a front desk person who probably didn't know a whole lot about football was a less than inspiring first impression.
The location in the middle of a casino, which we knew about beforehand, is not much "ambiance" from the above categories. And high prices for the steaks and sides, even though we shared a meal, weren't attractive.

Had dinner with six here a few weeks ago. Pretty much formula for the chain. Raw steaks brought to the table and explanation on their merit ensued. The steaks were excellent and well prepared. Good value but not a Mastro's-like experience. For a casino, though, excellent.

The Restaurant is inside a Casino. Not the best area for me.
The food was good, but nothing to call mamma about. The price is too much for the quality of the food.
The ambience is excellent. Great structure.
The waiter, Mr. Bryan, was awesome! No matter what he was always smiling and being nice.
It is a good restaurant, but besides the waiter, nothing else would make me go back there.

Shula's is an enigma. It can be wonderful, but it can also be disappointing. Unfortunately, this last visit fell into the latter category. The food was average. The lobster bisque, which I order every time I go was not as hot as it should have been, and they apparently now serve it already in the bowl rather than pouring it from a pitcher. Not as nice. I had a crab cake that was not good at all, but the scallops and beef medallions were okay. Husband had an okay salad and good, but not great bone in ribeye.

Service started out okay, but faded in the stretch.

We get to Arizona once a year for the NHRA''s and we look so forward to going to Shula's to eat. They have the best lobster you will ever have anywhere. Their employees are awesome also, and you get awesome service.

with high expectations, come great disappointments. been wanting to go to shulas since I saw it on the travel channel as one of Americas best steak houses. Waited twenty minutes past our reservation time to be seated. only two chairs, so had to stand by the door. The filets were tender and cooked as ordered, but luke warm at best, with poor presentation on the plate. The baked potatoes were cold, and side salad arrived way to late. Wait staff was alright, but could have been more attentive. Beer was great, but, alas it was bottled!!!

The room we had for a group was awesome - away from the crowd in the main dining room and it had doors to shut out the noice so we could talk privately. Thank you. However, my beef medalians were undercooked and I had already finished my sides by the time my replacement arrived that I was too full to finish. That was a downer.

Stopped in before englebert show a few weeks ago and had some of the best and freshest seafood appetizers we've found anywhere. I made reservations and brought my girlfriend back for dinner and were not disappointed. Seafood fresh and steaks perfect and the wine selection was exceptional and not overpriced for the quality. The service was impeccable and atmosphere perfect for conversation. I had no idea that a restaurant of this quality could be found south of north Scottsdale. I've already recommended it three times and will continue to do so.

This was my first time at Shula's and it was Valentine's Day ( my birthday), also I was on vacation with a friend. We had the 4 course special which was awesome! Best steak I ever had. Service was great....especially Jeff who brought our food and was always there when we needed something. The other impressive thing was that we were not rushed which happens anywhere else I go on that day. Will go back for sure!

This is our special treat for our anniversary-absolutely LOVE Shula's. From the moment of arrival to the time of departure, the wait staff is completely attentive. They anticipate our every need-even before we do sometimes! We always start with two shrimp cocktails. The four shrimp are of jumbo size and quality is amazing-very firm, never mushy like most restaurants. We savor the taste of each bite, about 3-4 bites per each shrimp. And the accompanying cocktail sauce has just enough 'spice' to delight but not overpower the senses. After the appetizer dishes were cleared away, our first course of French onion soup & wedge salad arrived. Both were excellent; the soup was just the right temperature & served with beautifully melted cheese on top; my salad was cold, crisp & had just the right amount of bleu cheese. For our dinner course, my husband ordered the 8 oz filet, butterflied and well-done. Other steak places often serve it dried out and 'burnt'. Shula's does it perfectly-cooked to his specifications, but still juicy and delicious. I like a very rare prime rib, & no one in this area can produce a beautiful prime rib like Shula's! I often take part of it home as it is huge. It is always perfect melt-in-your-mouth quality. We also ordered a side dish of delicately sauteed mushrooms to share...wonderful accompaniment to our beef dishes. In the past, we've also enjoyed the asparagus & twice-baked potatoes. For dessert, we love the creme brulee & the 7-layer chocolate cake. Both finish off the meal quite well. As it was a Sunday evening (Valentine's Day), my husband enjoyed only a single 'Perfect Margarita' before dinner was served. The service at Shula's is always impeccable! There always seems to be a wait-person available if a need should arise, though they truly do anticipate our every need ahead of time. Our drinks were always refilled timely. Every part of our meal was timed to perfection. We will be back to celebrate next year! *
