Great service with incredible food! Thanks Don
Four friends walked in for dinner with out reservations. We were told 1.5 hour wait even though there were 15 plus open tables. Two Hostesses and the Manager would not give up empty tables because supposed reservations allowed diners two hour window for them to show up. I went online and was confirmed a reservation. Manager was told about the online reservation made and he seated us immediately. Minimum of ten table remained open without diners during our dinner experience.
We were very disappointed that online was able to seat us while active Manager onsite was unable and unwilling or limited to fill an open table. This created an uncomfortable experience for our four diners.
Our first time to visit Shula's Steak House and we were extremely pleased with the friendly, courteous service from all staff. From the time we walked in, we felt like valued customers. The staff was efficient, not obtrusive and helpful in every way. The food was more than outstanding - every thing from the presentation to the taste was excellent. We will definitely return for another dinner.
Shula’s. What can I say? My husband and I love this restaurant. The steak is the best we have ever had bar none! We celebrate our birthdays and anniversary here every year.
On this occasion it was a little loud. There was a birthday party which should have had its own room but all in all we had a wonderful time.
If you have never been to Shula’s I recommend that you try it at least once.
Shula’s is a beautiful, well managed restaurant. It is always immaculate and they offer some very nice perks, such as their birthday club. The food Is good, but in all honesty, not great. They just slightly miss the mark. Lobster Bisque, quite tasty, served barely warm and had to be sent back. Husband’s ribeye chop, good, but not as good as the other high end steak houses. Service was good, manager was very personable and attentive.
It was a very nice place. Service was great. Prices are a very high and the steaks didn’t come with sides so that added more to the bill but it was a steakhouse in a casino so wasn’t surprised. I’ve had better for less though.
Top notch steaks and sides served in a welcoming but higher end setting with outstanding service
Super for special occasions
This turned out to be the highlight restaurant of our trip. Everyone was so nice. Excellent service with outstanding food. When we return to Phoenix area, Shula's will be on the must-do list for sure.
I had the boneless rib eye. It was delicious but I thought it had too much gristle. The candied Brussels Sprouts was burnt. Yes I ate it but didn't finish. I don't believe in sending my food back. The wine sauce for the steak was delicious. Yes I would return. I will just order something different. My husband ordered the mix grill. That was delicious. The man who was serving the drinks did a great job. The man who served our food was great. The waitress totally forgot our to go lobster mac and cheese. That's always delicious. The chocolate cake was scrumptious, enough to share.
Our servers were attentive and the food was delicious. We don't get here often, but always leave satisfied.
Steaks just melt in your mouth! Crab macaroni and cheese was decadent. Attentive staff!
We spent 15 minutes after our reservation waiting for our table to be cleaned and when we walked into the dinning room there were tables open everywhere. Yet the one we were sat at had a dirty table cloth on the chair and the settings were not completed. When I finally got my water glass it was dirty couple together another 1.5 hours of slow or non existent service we received our food but were to irritated to eat it. We left without taking a bite of our dinner but the appetizer was satisfactory.
When we requested a bottle of Champaign for our 50th anniversary I was advised the menu was in error. Price was listed at $30 also on their website. Was advised the cost was well over $150. The waitress said she would report the menu and website osts to her management. We did not get the Champaign for $30. They did provide a piece of cake for our anniversary.
Anniversary Dinner. Excellent food, great steakhouse.
Been to the one in Miami, this did not disappoint. Amazing cuts of steak, prepared to perfection. My Filet Mignon was ordered medium rare and medium rare it came out. Service was a bit snooty, but I guess they knew they were good so they feel like they can do that. The twice baked potato and grilled asparagus was great as well.
Had a very surreal situation at this restaurant. We were having a good meal, not many
people on a Sunday night. We enjoyed the food, wine and were having a discussion
regarding football it was a happy situation. The assistant General Manager came up
to us and said that if we didn't quit using profanity he would ask us to leave. We were
stunned, there was not profanity coming from us. No explanation was given to us, there
was a couple of groups around us but we couldn't hear their conversation so even if we
were loud I doubt they could hear. Worst experience ever, wrecked our evening. I dine at
steak houses at least 2 a week for business, I will never set foot in a Shula's again.
My husband and I have dined at Shula's several times. I can say, without a doubt, the food and service is always exceptional. I'm a fan of the seafood and no one prepares blackened scallops as well as Shula's. The barbecue shrimp is phenomenal and the lobster tail is perfectly prepared every time. The consistency is very rewarding. We've never had a bad experience at this restaurant. Oh, and let's not forget the bread! Again, the best I've ever had. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I would, and do so quite often, recommend Shula's to anyone who wants a perfectly prepared mean and a great atmosphere. I sometimes think Shula's should pay me for advertising. Yes, that's how much I recommend this place.
Shula's is the best steak hands down!!! Amazing steak, great sides, great service, great wine...just an all around amazing experience every time!!
Food quality started off fairly poor but the main course was done well
Lana was front server and was outstanding as usual. Food was terrific. Very good experience. Thanks!
Horrible service. Was bad from the start. A few couples like ourselves had 9:00 reservations and had to wait. One of the couples got sat before we did when we were supposed to be next, and staff tried to play it off like nothing happened until I called them out on the mistake. Long story short we were sat and it took a while to place our order. When we finally got our food it was cold (crab Mac and cheese very cold) & my steak was rare; not medium well like I requested. The manager did take the meal off our bill but overall service was lacking. Will never go back nor recommend to anyone.
Great restaurant. We had reservations and were there about 15 minutes early but we still had to wait around 30 minutes to be seated. Food was fantastic. The only negative is that we had to walk through the casino and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming. The few minutes to get to the restaurant caused our clothes to stink. If there was another entrance to avoid the foul smell of the casino would have made the experience 100% better.
Be sure to make reservations especially on the weekends. We’ve eaten several Shula’s across the country. Every one has been superb. Steaks are the thing to have but there are other options for all tastes. There are several types of sauces but we go for the bare essentials. If you steak is not prepared to your satisfaction they will rectify with no question. Share the sides they’re plenty for two
Phenomenal steaks. Food portions are with the price. Great atmosphere.
Our 5th visit. Valentines Day. Put us in a small room with a big screen. Forgot to bring my wine order and cocktail order. We used to say it was top steak house in the valley. Fine dining should never include a T.V. We did have reservations. Food was not up to standards. My wedge salad had brown throughout. Our last trip to Shulas. Sorry.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere, will be back for sure!
We've been going to Shula's for special occasions for several years.
This Valentine's dinner was a disappointment -- the steak was not up to the usual quality -- dry! (And grilled charred rare! But although pink - not red- it was dry and had little taste!)
The lobster bisque was the usual excellent quality!
The special Valentine dessert was acceptable.
If we go back we'll definitely stick w/ our usual selections.
The special dinner was a lesser quality -- and disappointing for this restaurant's dining standard, and not special!
Valentines Day dinner was excellent! Our server, Frank, was nothing short of spectacular. He is there with what you need before you have time to ask for it. What more can you ask for in service at your favorite restaurant? Well done sir.
We are from NY and were pleasantly surprised. We loved the food and the service by Jenna was spectacular! We are planning on going again and in fact, have reservations for Saturday lunch!
Food was incredible , pricey but easily shareable meats & side dishes if wanting healthy portions or spend less
Service was top notch. Food was good but not on the Ruth’s Chris level, even though price is similar.
My husband and I went for an early valentines dinner as we had other plans on the actual valentine’s day. I prefer this actually, no too crowded, regular menu and excellent food and service as always. We’ve also been to the Shula’s in Miami, and food is just as good, as well as the service. Top notch wait staff and the amibiance is wonderful for a romantic dinner.
Very much enjoyed our dinner at Shula's. The food was fantastic especially the calamari fries and the Apple cobbler. We received outstanding service from the wait staff.
Services by Mario was impeccable, the rest was ok. We were a party of 5 and had been seated in a room that was a little more private which was great until the obnoxiously loud and drunk party of six were seated in the same room. Terribly disappointing, we couldn't hold a conversation without trying to yell over them. Steaks were served to desired wellness but lacked the fresh of the grill shine and was warm at best. Sad to leave such a great cut of beef wasting away in the window. Crab cakes were fishy and sent back but never removed from the bill. We have had a good meal there in the past when it was much slower.
Great service! Delicious Valentines Day menu!
The filet mignon was cooked perfectly but lacked taste, the salmon, which was the market fish of the day, was very dry and the crab cake could have had a little more seasoning. The side dishes were really good though. The potatoes au gratin and sauteed mushrooms were wonderful. The waitress was very friendly.
Absolutely would not recommend or go to this restaurant again. The steaks in which this restaurant are known for were dry, flavorless, overcooked and way overpriced for what they were. If your going to sell $40-$90 steaks you should know how to cook them. They didn't care and the manager didn't even come by to make sure things were corrected. What a disappointment! Not to mention the mood killer of a table next to us speaking so loud and swearing just about every other word that we couldn't even swallow the dry meat. Disappointing!
Was fabulous-1st time dining here & it did not disappoint! Was celebrating a birthday & the food was divine, great cocktails & the service was superb. Definitely will be going here again for a special occasion-treat yourself to fine dining once in a while!!!! I enjoyed a couple of their signature "old fashioned"cocktails, oysters on the half shell, filet mignon -Oscar style, great special salad, & we had special delicious birthday cake options for the special occasion...My Birthday.
The food was very good. The prices are very high! When your retired you can't go there
too often.. The place we go to usually is 1/2 what this is!!!!! The service wasn't as good
as it could of been. The main waiter never came by much. The other servers where
better. Won't be going back anytime soon..... toooooooooo much !!!!
