The receptionist was very rude, when I called she hung up in my face three times. Upon arrival she was even more rude in person, ask to speak to a manager and he catered to the problem. Hostess was nice and very friendly, but the food was over priced, 4 BBQ Shrimp was $18, ordered a Ribeye Steak with the Oscar Topping, I asked that the steak be cooked at a medium well temperature and it was cooked well done and was very very dry with no flavor. The Oscar topping was season less crabmeat with steamed asparagus slices that had no taste. The mash potatoes and creamed spinach was ok. The hamburger was ok, the crab cakes had no taste to them and fell apart. The $172.00 for a crappy meal was not worth it. I will not ever eat there again and I will never refere this restaurant to anyone but I will tell them where not to eat which is this restaurant.
It’s a classic upscale steakhouse. Big portions. Large, shareable side dishes. Too much for a single business diner. But the crab cake appetizer was one of the best I’d had with an excellent roumolade sauce. The mushroom ravioli small plate was served in a dark port-like sauce and was heavy but good.
The Service was excellent. Friendly but attentive and never intrusive. As a single diner i am not always so well treated or seated. 👍👍
El servicio de los mozos y personal del lugar excelente súper amables pero la comida 🥘 deja mucho que desear... súper pequeña las porciones Y tardaron un montón para traer los platos y el precio elevado para lo que era el plato que pedimos !!!no creo que vuelva a ese lugar ... aparte tengamos en cuenta que era el día de navidad no había ni siquiera un nada con respecto a la fecha especial.... el ambiente frioooo.. no nos gusto
I was looking forward to this lunch. I ordered the 14oz ribeye. I requested “Chicago Style” which neither the waitress or the cook knew.
I explained the cook style but the steak came out over done, tough, and not well seasoned.
1/4 of it was gristle.
I do not plan on returning.
I was very disappointed with the quality of service and the food in general. I had several of my customers with inacceptable food from very well done steaks to excessive sauces and messy presentation. Also my bill had many undelivered sides on it when I had a chance to review the bill in detail since we had such a large party I didn’t feel it was a good idea to do it in front of my customers.
I feel that we were put in a side room because we had just come from a convention and weren't dressed to the 9s. After we were seated, the host put a family of 3 with a VERY noisy child next to us, I did not appreciate this. Salad was great, my steak was overcooked and sent back. The sides are in portions that could feed 4, I hate such a waste of money, it's not like we could take it home. We expressed our comments to the manager but nothing was taken care of.
I really enjoy this restaurant, the atmosphere is nice and the food is great! The waiter along with the host were great as usual. I will revisit this place from time to time, specially if I want the best steak I've ever had. To top it off the special lady loves this place!! I can't go wrong at Shula's
We ordered lobster bisque, salads, then split a ribeye steak and grilled scallops. The meal and the wine was excellent. When the next night's reservation disappointed us, we returned without a reservation and were seated immediately. Another excellent meal!
The restaurant also serves breakfast at the Hyatt, including a buffet. We ate there twice. Also excellent!!
We got there in the midst of lunch time rush so we had a wait while at the table but once our waiter got going, it was all uphill. She was very informative regarding the menu and answered all our questions without reserve. In the end the meal was worth the wait. Our waitress was wonderful. We will come again but earlier! Thank you.
I thought the dining room would have been a little more intimate. Our waitress, Jessica, was outstanding. The food was typical steak-house fare which was good, but not fantastic. At this price point (expensive), we should have walked away raving about our dinner. Don't get me wrong, it was good, just not something to rave about. I would probably go back for lunch, but not dinner again.
