The dining room was so loud we actually contemplated leaving. I felt like I was in my sons high school cafeteria! Sadly will not be returning or recommending.

Not sure where to start but just an amazing birthday dinner. Well taken care of by Joseph, the bartender/server. Our food was outstanding, the service was even more outstanding, never rushed, just a great evening all around. We are definitely going back ... and soon!

The ribeye was very tough and the mashed potatoes we very plain. For the price you pay for the steak, I would think it would be similar to Vic & Anthony's however; it was more like Golden Corral.

The service is always AWFUL at this location. I always hope it will be better, but they have an uppity staff who acts like they’re too busy or too good to serve patrons. If you expect folks to continue spending money here, need to adjust that attitude and lay off the salt on your food. I get the feeling it’s made for folks with desensitized palates as it’s grossly over seasoned.

Waiters were great. My warm and red filets were warm and brown. They replaced the plate quickly with the correct order.

Nothing more than a lobby diner with extremely over priced food. I was expecting an upscale fine steak housevexperince and got less than an Outback steak meal. I will never go again and would never seek or recommend another shula restaraunt.

I should’ve known better. Food took forever to get out. Everything barely warm. Quality OK. Service our server was good server however he was overwhelmed with too many tables I would not necessarily blame him. I’ve had Shula’s in several cities I will no longer try the restaurant . Save your money the chain has been highly overrated and mismanaged.

Service and atmosphere great for a simple biz lunch. I’ve been here before so embarrassed and shocked that BOTH steak salads were almost inedible as steak was so over salted. Chicken chowder soup very good.

I reserved a table for 2 for a business lunch with a client. I arrived early and sat down. My client showed up asked for me and was told i was not there yet. He waited out front for 15 minutes. He finally decided to walk through the restaurant on his own, saw me and sat down. He was not happy. The originally sat me at a table at the front part of the seating area near the atrium.
I was facing a wood paneled wall with a walkway directly to my back. I asked to be re-seated. The service was just poor. No one seemed to care and people were not attentive. When my ice tea needed refilling the young lady took the large pitcher stretched across the table and poured into the glass spilling quite a bit on the table. Then walked away. leaving the table and around the glass the size of a small plate soaking wet. The next time - the same thing. Although a little less spillage. All in all i will not go back. They are not running things well at all. They are doing bare minimums and I wouldn't care if i was at some random barbecue joint, but this is supposed to be a nice restaurant.

When I noticed only 4 other tables full I should have known them something was up. I’ve had better steaks from my own grill and at less expensive chain restaurants. Our server kept disappearing and at one point didn’t see him for up to 20 minutes. But hey, I did have a cool football signed by Shula himself at the table. The place was empty we could have tossed the ole pigskin around a little.

We had a great experience. Waiter was fabulous. Only complaint was the table with noisy small children close to us. Kind of ruined the quiet "date night" experience we were hoping for, for us. Otherwise a fantastic meal/experience.

Every year starting on our wedding night we have celebrated at the Shula's Steakhouse in Houston. We have raved to our friends & family about the food, ambience, & superb level of service each year except this one. Every aspect of our anniversary dinner this year screamed that there has been a change in management, & not in a good way. I wanted to start off by reassuring  you that the food was exceptional like always. But that is where the positive stops. First I want to address the ambience. One of the major reasons we repeatedly celebrate our anniversary at your establishment is because it is quiet, not overly crowded, & romantic. This year there were  several large groups dining there & a family with a toddler they refused to control, resulting in a increased noise level & unwanted distractions. The restaurant previously restricted the total number of reservations to help maintain a romantic setting, which also affected the servers ability to give the highest quality of service. There was a noticeable increase in the amount of reservations big & small. This then brings us to the quality of service. There where either too many reservations taken or not enough staff working. Our server lacked in attention to detail & seemed to be stretched too thin. He spoke in a load boasterous voice (not romantic at all), & his tone and manner changed from one table to the next. I do not appreciate being spoken to differently than the table next to me, this feeds into the problem with racism in our world. Then to top it off his cell phone began ringing loudly in his pocket while he was at our table. He failed to remove the unused wine glasses until requested. He ignored our initial comment of not being drinkers, repeatedly asked if we wanted a cocktail, & still delivered champagne. My husband is a recovering alcoholic & this was taken as a slap in the face & very upsetting. It deeply saddens me that the place I spent my wedding night & many anniversaries now has such a bad memory

The receptionist was very rude, when I called she hung up in my face three times. Upon arrival she was even more rude in person, ask to speak to a manager and he catered to the problem. Hostess was nice and very friendly, but the food was over priced, 4 BBQ Shrimp was $18, ordered a Ribeye Steak with the Oscar Topping, I asked that the steak be cooked at a medium well temperature and it was cooked well done and was very very dry with no flavor. The Oscar topping was season less crabmeat with steamed asparagus slices that had no taste. The mash potatoes and creamed spinach was ok. The hamburger was ok, the crab cakes had no taste to them and fell apart. The $172.00 for a crappy meal was not worth it. I will not ever eat there again and I will never refere this restaurant to anyone but I will tell them where not to eat which is this restaurant.

The food was so good!! A bit on the expensive side. The dishes should have included 1 side (a veggie or potatoe). The staff was wonderful. We enjoyed our meal and it was the perfect location for our dinner meeting.

It’s a classic upscale steakhouse. Big portions. Large, shareable side dishes. Too much for a single business diner. But the crab cake appetizer was one of the best I’d had with an excellent roumolade sauce. The mushroom ravioli small plate was served in a dark port-like sauce and was heavy but good.

The Service was excellent. Friendly but attentive and never intrusive. As a single diner i am not always so well treated or seated. 👍👍

Food was very mediocre. Steak was med well when ordered Med Rare, potato was waxy, and overcooked, and potato condiments were obviously packaged (pre-grated cheese). Not what I expected for a $70/person meal sans alcohol.

I was looking forward to this lunch. I ordered the 14oz ribeye. I requested “Chicago Style” which neither the waitress or the cook knew.
I explained the cook style but the steak came out over done, tough, and not well seasoned.
1/4 of it was gristle.
I do not plan on returning.

I was very disappointed with the quality of service and the food in general. I had several of my customers with inacceptable food from very well done steaks to excessive sauces and messy presentation. Also my bill had many undelivered sides on it when I had a chance to review the bill in detail since we had such a large party I didn’t feel it was a good idea to do it in front of my customers.
