Excellent, attentive service. Filets were perfect!
Though I enjoyed my favorite dish which is calamari fries best you can get anywhere in the states my waiter, because I knew what I wanted before I asked if I could restaurant refuse to take my order immediately just kept telling me to wait and then his helper pretty much rushed me through my meal. Never had that problem at the grill site in Atlanta before they close it down and by far the best location is Arizona at the Wild Horse Pass.
My girlfriend and I met up with a friend of ours and his wife and had dinner. I had the cowboy cut and it was the single best steak I've ever had! I would definitely recommend it!
Food was very good and service was very good as well. Prices were a bit steep but everything in Chicago is expensive. Food quality was excellent and items were cooked as ordered and hot when they arrived at the table.
I have lived 2 blocks from this restaurant for 3 years but I have never dined there because I felt that it was hotel trap.
I was wrong on all accounts.

Meat was lukewarm. Wait time for food once ordered was way too long. Waiter was very nice -but got the feeling he had too many tables to take proper, timely care.
The sides looked so great that we just ended up ordering sides and appetizers. They did not disappoint. However, the restaurant is very over priced.
We were a little cold. We asked that they lower the shades by our table in hopes that the cold breeze we were feeling would subside but the gentleman said only the engineer could lower them. I got up and did it myself. I don’t know if he understood what i had asked.
The food was great and the above was the only issue I had which wasn’t that bad I just found it odd.
We dined a Shula’s at 730 pm on a Friday evening. There weren’t many other diners there which I thought was odd. Our waitress was attentive but not overly friendly or personable. The food was good overall, my steak was a bit underdone but not enough to send it back. It was tasty but the temperature of everything we got was just warm but not hot. Except for the crab mac and cheese. That was hot and the best thing we had all night. We got 2 desserts, key lime pie and creme brûlée, both just ok, nothing overly exceptional. It was a pricey meal and for the eery quietness of the place, the lukewarm food and blah waitress, I don’t think the value was there. Might try it again if staying at the Sheraton as it’s very convenient.

Disappointing that when ordering large filet for $50 and informed waiter we were splitting, kitchen (or waitress did not inform kitchen?) refused to cut and put on 2 plates. No acknowledgement of my daughter’s birthday but on way out hostess informed us they give birthday dessert. Chain should consider children’s menu to encourage families to dine there. Overall very sterile and disappointing experience for family birthday dinner. I would only dine there again for business dinner and even then would probably make another choice.
I was alone on business. From the time I ordered it took 55 minutes to get my food. My waiter was absent from my table most of the evening. Once the food got there it was good. When one person spends $148 for a meal the service should be no less than superb.
Wine list is overpriced, but expected downtown and in a hotel restaurant. Lots of options for a variety of good wines, however. Steaks are seasoned well and generous (could split!). Sides are also generous and shareable for the table. Unfortunately, probably because it is attached to a hotel, there can be children, including young children (who cry a lot) right there at a table near you. A loudly crying child for about half our meal definitely did not set a great tone for the night. Service and food were both solid.
My steak and the sautéed mushrooms were amazing. The wedge salad was good but nothing unusual. The lobster bisque was warm and okay but I have had better. Overall
It was a good meal and I will return.

Made reservations for five at 8:00pm thru open table. We arrived at 7:50 and were not seated for over 30 minutes and it took another 20 minutes to get water to the table. It appeared even with reservations they sat people first come first served. The side dishes were very good but the steaks were only ok.
Shula's was chosen for our business dinner (10 people) as we had a block reservation in the Sheraton in which it is located. 5 of our guests were bumped from their reserved rooms and therefore had to take transport to get to the restaurant - bad start. Very slow to get food - It took almost 1.5 hrs to get appetizers and around 3 hours to complete the meal. Appetizer size was tiny for the cost - good food but way to small portions. Main meal was good quality steak but again quite expensive. Our server was very good and attentive so no blame rests on her here. They were busy and it showed. I wouldn't go back to be honest but I will never be visiting the Sheraton "Grand" with my team in the future anyway so this is not intended to be just a swipe at Schula's.
Three of us ordered the steak sandwich for lunch. One ordered medium rare, the other two ordered medium well. - we all got well done steak. It was incredibly tough to eat - fatty and grisly. Which in it of itself isn’t bad, but in a sandwich it is. For a steak house with such a good name, I expected a lot more.
Had dinner at Shulas on a Saturday night. The hostess was very professional and sat us at a table next to a window. Our waitress Maria was fantastic, very friendly and always available and asking if we needed anything, but not over bearing. Food was excellent as expected, pricey but we knew that before we made the reservation. The manager even checked on us a few times.

Food and ambiance were exceptional as always. Service on this occasion was lacking. Server was too concerned with a larger party next to us. We had to ask for bread service and she never came back to ask if all was well. Prior visits have always been perfect.

The food was outstanding as usual, but the service was poor. Considering it was a party of 6 coming in for Christmas dinner, the waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there and seldom checked on us leaving drink glasses empty too long and the normally attentive support staff wasn't there. He didn't deserve the 20% gratuity that was automatically added to the bill.
I know it was Christmas when we dined here, but the service was very slow and the food all came out barely warm. My group was all from Chicago. We were all excited to try this place for the first time, because every Christmas we have gone to The Grill on the Alley at the Westin and wanted to try a new steak place for Christmas to make it a new tradition. Unfortunately, this first experience was pretty bad, because the service was extremely slow, however, the server was friendly whenever he was able to show up at our table. All the servers seemed to be running in all sorts of directions. ALL of our food was served barely warm enough to eat. I noticed another table send their food back, because it was to warm and then had to wait about 20 minutes for the food to return.
I really wanted to like this place, because we liked the location and the menu options. If the food could have been served at the proper temperature and the restaurant had adequate staffing this review could have been totally different. There were five of us dining and each paid roughly $125 for what was a memorable experience, but in the wrong way for Shula's.
If you are going to be open on Christmas or any other major holiday, please remember to not take a lot of reservations if you do not have enough staff (kitchen/wait). Better to turn people away then give them a bad experience.
Not sure if we will be returning in the future.
Service was severely stretched.
Calamari appetizer, wedge salad, Cowboy 22 oz steak, filet mignon 8 oz, mushroom side and double baked potato were outstanding, cooked exactly as ordered and flavorful. Totally enjoyed the dinner. Milen was our waiter and he did an outstanding job. We will return again soon.
Everything was very good. Seems though that at least one side could be included with entrees.
While the food is good, I have had much better at the prices charged.
We ate early which was nice-private and quiet. Martini was yummy. BBQ shrimp was more flavorful than I expected. The roasted corn and scalloped potatoes were tasty. Apple cobbler could have used bigger serving of ice cream. I would definitely go back.

Nothing wrong with Shula’s. Service was very good. However there are better places for Steaks. If your charging premium prices, the experience should be premium. It wasn’t bad, just not great.
We are from the gulf coast so maybe I shouldn't have ordered the crab cakes and scallops in Chicago. They were ok but not cooked til hot which is the least to ask for. The Filet medallions were good and cooked just right. The best thing we had was the macaroni and cheese and the bread. For the price I would ask for much more in quality of the food.
The Thanksgiving menu was excellent and affordable at $38 for a four course meal! Service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!!!
Amazing service and great steak and sides. They were able to seat us early and every interaction w/ staff was positive. Best steak I've had in years and beat having to eat turkey on Thanksgiving.
James always knows how to point me in the right direction when I come in for dinner. Stephanie always follows up after dinner arrives and my visit is never the same unless Gwen is at the front welcoming me. Great staff!! Thank you all for a great dinner. Missing Jeff!!
