Went out for a birthday dinner for my sister. The food was good, not exactly life-changing, especially for the price paid. Service was excellent, though, they even brought a complimentary dessert for my sister.
The flatbread starters were fantastic and the best part of the meal. Unless your getting a burger the entrees are a bit pricy for the portions. You MUST get a side order or you will leave hungry.
Good standard American menu with steaks as centerpiece. Steaks have been tasty and prepared to order. Wait staff is very friendly.
Good food and nice place
The first time we ate at Shulas there was a wedding reception going on. Our service was incredibly poor and we complained. The waiter admitted that he was working both rooms and got tied up with the wedding. That is no excuse. The management is incredibly poor in not being able to plan for events. Two years later we went back and had the exact same experience. It took 2 hours to eat a meal that would normally take us 45-60 minutes. The food is good but very expensive and no where near worth the aggravation involved. I don't like to pay for aggra000ivation. Definitely will not go back. Overpriced and management sucks!

It was my birthday! The server was fantastic, the food was great. I had a coupon for a free meal and they even brought me a free dessert. We enjoyed the evening.
The food was outstanding and the service was excellent in the beginning. Then our waiter disappeared and it took a long time to pay the check.
We enjoyed our dinner at Shula's although it was anything special or exceptional. It was satisfactory. Our server was wonderful, informed and tentive. The staff nice, helpful and quick. We didn't have to wait long for food. Drinks were quickly refilled. The Ribeye was by far the best thing we ordered. Almost every thing else was just good. Nothing wrong but nothing you'd write about. The risotto was undercooked. It was hard and crunchy. We thought to point it out, but decided against it just because we didn't want the steaks taken away from the table for an extended period of time. Neither hubby or I ended up eating the Risotto. The filet was cooked as requested (med rare), once again it was a standard filet. It was a nice average meal. We got dessert. The Crème brûlée was smaller than expected however packed a delightful flavor. We are glad we visited Chile's 347 so we can mark it off the list, but we don't have a desire or need to go back. There was nothing that made it stand out. Nothing other than the Shula name.
Our server, Danny, was awesome! The manager was also very nice and stopped by a couple of times to see how we were doing. We asked for a booth when reserving on Open Table and they did give us a booth. Our meal was very good with only one caveat; the steak was not seasoned. The sauce that was on the steak was great and the steak was super juicy and tender, but I did have to add salt to it. Other than the prices (which we knew going in), that was the only semi-negative to a fantastic valentine's dinner date with my husband.

It was not a good night for Shula's this past Friday as my wife and I celebrated our monthly date night. We had been to the Shula's in Lake Buena Vista and that experience gave us a good reason to dine at another. I am a professed "foodie", with an emphasis on great steaks, something Shula's prides itself for. I ordered the best steak on the menu, The Cowboy Ribeye and specified my temperature. The appetizers were okay. I had the Hot Hot Chicken and unfortunately it was smothered in sauce. The steak came out and I took one bite and wondered what the marinade was. Marinade? Why would there be a marinade at a prime steakhouse? It wasn't marinade and I will never know why it tasted so "strange." I was asked for another option and I chose the natural chicken and it was very good, yet I could not get my mind off that steak. We are new to the neighborhood and this dinner could have been a stepping-stone to many more. But that will not be. I'm still not sure about the connection with Don Shula's perfect 17-0 season and great steaks - for me they are winless. What's more, the manager did not even offer a complimentary dessert or a second glass of wine on the house. Sadly disappointed.
The food is delicious, the service is very good and value is on par with the quality of the food. However, due to the glass walls and tile floor it can get painfully loud in there. And parking can be a bit of a problem, but overall it’s a place I and my family will return to.
Waiter was very good. Fast attentive service from everyone involved. Food was rather fast, very nice wine selection.

I have never been and I was impressed. The only thing I did not like (reason for 4 stars) was the wedge. It was bitter and was only able to eat a small portion of it. I did not complain because everything was so good and did not want to dampen the positiveness of celebrating a birthday.
Food was delicious. Slow service and cocktails were too sweet.

Went for Brunch, bit pricey. It was ok.....service just so so, food was ok.
Very fine dinning experience. The food could not be better. The only fault I have is the noise level. For a special occasion out and the quality and price of the food it should be a little less noisy. Overall it was a wonderful night out.
On News Years Eve, I took my wife to Shulas and had the same experience. Our entrees were fine but the sides were cold. On this visit, we explained the experience with the server but was served cold sides again.
This is supposed to be a fine dining restaurant with a Ruth Chris on the very next block.
I’m told upper management rarely visits..I’m sure Coach Shula would want a $130 tab would bring a better experience.

We have had steaks all over the world, who knew that in our own area was a steak that out classed them all.
Our server (Jessy) was such a delight. What a gem! She went above and beyond, not just with service, but Jessy was so personable. We had great laughs with her and she was so attentive. Jessy is a perfect example of the perfect server.
Great variety for brunch. Our waiter was John, and The service was excellent.
My birthday dinner was amazing. Marissa our server was great, friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to make our 1st experience and my birthday at Shulas in Lake Mary memorable. Thank you Marissa

Great food and service
Listen, the food is good, just not great. The ambience is far too casual to support the menu. With that, the service is ok. A nice touch would have been valet parking, I did spend over $250 for dinner for 4. I expected more! All in all, over priced for a good meal, especially with strong competition down the road and across the street. Did not meet my expectations, probably wont be back.
We went to celebrate New years early. It was really quite, people started coming later but we were unable to get late reservations, poor planning on our part. The steak was yummy a little overdone for medium but still tender and yummy.
My husband and I went to Shula's 357 Grill to celebrate my 60th birthday! I was not disappointed! Having made reservations, we were addressed by name from the moment we entered through paying the check. The decor is very modern with glass, black, and chrome dominating. My margarita on the rocks was larger than expected, and well made. While the list of appetizers was appealing with quite a variety, we opted to forego the tempting calamari fries, and go straight to the main course. We did begin with starter salads, just the right size with very fresh basic ingredients. Our distinctive, "Shula cut"filets were thick and cooked to a perfect medium rare! The flavor was fantastic, as there was no overriding coating or spice, just the great taste of beef. My baked potato was a good size. The garlic green beans had good flavor, most were crunchy and delicious, but a few were limp and mushy. With everything else so well done, it wasn't enough to worry over. The wine list was extensive, and I'm sure there was a perfect red to partner with our steaks, but not being regular wine drinkers we didn't want to detract from the food. Our server, Joe, was great! He was friendly, but not intrusive. He made suggestions when asked, but did not try to talk us into more than we wanted. For example, we reviewed several appetizers with him, but when we decided to just order our entrees, he happily took our order. I overheard him at a nearby table, where they asked for assistance with everything from their drink order to appetizers and entrees. He shared his thoughts and they gladly went along with everything he offered. Bottomline, he listened to and sensed what his guests wanted. As if our evening wasn't satisfying enough, Joe surprised us with a shareable complementary birthday dessert of a warm blondie brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle. As full as I was already, we somehow managed to eat the whole scrumptious dessert! We will return next time we are in town!
I did not care for the food at all. The sides were warm and nothing special about it. Not worth $40 a plate. Service, however, was exceptional.
My husband and I went to Shula's to celebrate Christmas. The steaks were delicious as always. Despite obvious confusion with the waitstaff, our service was very good. It had been several years since we dined at Shula's. We will not wait so long to go back.
I was looking for somewhere for breakfast on Christmas morning for the family before my husband had to get on the road home for work the next day. I was ok that we'd have to eat from the breakfast menu since it was a 10 am reservation but the menu is very limited. The restaurant did not appear to be that busy but it took 30+ minutes to get our food. What appeared to be the manager made excuses for the time it took to eat. When we did get the food the toast was cold and hard, the butter was melted, the rest of the food was just ok. The sodas tasted bad and the tomato juice was watered down. All of that and I still had a $75 bill for 4 people. I don't mine paying for good food. I had to hunt the waiter down to pay the bill. I had much higher hopes for this place. At least we weren't alone, the couple at the table near us told the same "manager" they could have gotten better food at a better price at the Waffle House. Never again.
We made our reservation weeks in advance. The restaurant called to confirm twice. We were then given a poor table rather then a preferred booth. When we asked to change we were told they were reserved and not available. We had our dinner only to look at empty booths the entire time. Disappointed.
This was the first time dining at this restaurant. We celebrated Xmas Eve there and was greeted by a wonderful waiter Gueseppi. The food was fabulous and the service was impeccable.Would highly reccomend this restaurant to everyone.
Visited on Christmas Eve - had access to the Christmas Day menu and all 3 entrees we selected were excellent! Great customer service from host/hostess and our server was amazing and very attentive! We visited late afternoon before the restaurant began to get full. An outstanding experience! I am from Miami and remember visiting the Shula's in Miami Lakes - always a great dinner and experience!
