Celebrate Easter at Shula's!
Sunday, April 1, 2018
This restaurant is very upscale and definitely has the price tag to accompany it. That said, it was wonderful. Staff went over the top to handle and accommodate anything needed. The food was excellent. Will return for special occasions!!
Great food and everything as always, but for a sports theme type of place ("Shula's") the TV playing sports is so small and mounted over a door way, that it was odd to try and get a sports feel. Does not need to be a sportbar, but if you ever go, you'll see that the one TV is oddly small and placed.
The steaks were great. We will come again. However, the New York cheesecake was disappointing. It did not taste home made - it tasted like it came out of a box.
The service and the food were excellent. We were very happy with the overall experience.
Good steaks, very good service.
Great Filet and seasonal veggies. Please note that if you order a drink on a single Rock, the upcharge is $2.
The service and food was phenomenal! Out server was very attentive and followed through with everything she said she would do. She was professional and aware of procedures for fine dining. The food was delicious and was prepared as requested.
From the time we pulled in to the valet parking all the way to the end everybody was so helpful and the service was excellent. Can’t wait to go back!
Shula's was well worth the trip, the steaks were tende and full of flavor. The service was top notch, our waiter was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend Shula's to anyone celebrating an anniversary, special occasion, or wanting a good steak.
We went to celebrate our anniversary and wanted someplace special. We'd never been there before but saw the menu online and were impressed. The actual dining experience exceeded our expectations, from the very efficient and helpful valets to our fantastic waiter Jeremiah/Joe! The food was great and we could even hear each other talk without shouting...great atmosphere for a romantic date or business gathering.
Quiet and smaller Shula’s but still greet food and atmosphere.
She was so awesome
Service was outstanding and food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.
Outstanding food and service. A great place to celebrate a special occasion.
This is my fourth or fifth time at this Shula's, and maybe my ninth or tenth time at any Shula's. The food is always delicious. This time our server Adam was especially great. He was very attentive and pleasant. He made a wonderful meal even better.
Always a good time at Shula’s! Love the environment and always treated so great!
Me and my friends were celebrating her annual holiday outing and this is the second year in a row we went to Shula‘s and enjoyed every minute of it .
Great food. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Great service!
We were not extremely hungry so we did not order salad or appetizers, just a meal. However, I was surprised not to be served at least bread before the meal. Most steak houses serve a little something before the meal that you don't have to order ala carte. We just sat there and waited for our meals with nothing. For the price of the meals, you should at least get a small loaf of bread! I will not recommend nor go back to this restaurant.
Our waiter Roy was sarcastic, we ordered 4 lobster tails but only 2 where left, instead of politely apologizing for the inconvenience he said he had good news and bad news, what was the good news? Also, the 2 lobster tails we did get were overly seasoned and the filet was underseasoned. The best part of the meal were the appetizers. Also, the waiter didn’t come around to refill drinks
Vallerie was out waitress and she was wonderful! Best service in Tallahassee and top three best in the world!
Our experience with Shula's is constantly varied. We have had very good meals there and some pretty weak ones. This one was a B- or even maybe a C+. The best item was my bone-in steak, which I almost accidentally learned about since it was not on the menu and not initially mentioned by the waiter. It was prepared quite well and a nice size at 12 ounces. The pork feature on the menu was loaded with potential, but was quite dry. Much more glaze was in order to offset this. The drinks were mediocre for an upscale restaurant.
The food & service were both outstanding as usual. Shout out to Irene the Manager and our server Nicki !!👍😀
Sat at the bar and enjoyed the great service of "Joe" who has been at Shula's for 4 years. Great cocktails dinner and conversation.
One of the better dinner restaurants in town. I highly recommend the bbq shrimp and the creme brulee.
Good neighborhood restaurant. Good food, great service, good ambiance for conversationalists.
Steaks were great, the creme brule also really good, but the risotto side was not made with arborio rice, and hence was not great.
The food was fantastic, service wasn't bad but for the $ amount you spend, service could have been a little better. We were there for our 9th anniversary and I felt that they could have at least comp'd the dessert. We felt that they could have made it a little more personal especially since they knew and asked why we were there that night. Dinner for 2 was over $220.00
Food and service was 5 star. My only small complaint was that the link in the reservation email for directions was incorrect, so we showed up late. However they still kept our reservation and the staff were amazing! Thank you. When we are in Tallahassee again we will stop and eat there again.
Our experience dining at Shula's is uniformly first rate, every time.
My overall experience at Shulas Grill was great! The food was cooked very well and it came out very quickly. The atmosphere was quiet and romantic, which was perfect. I will definitely be back soon.
Shula's Tallahassee never disappoints when you need a great meal and wonderful service.
Good service//good meal[ribeye//crab cakes and nice keylime dessert with a candle
We went for my husband's birthday. Our waiter was Joe and he was great! The food was delicious. We enjoyed everything.
My desk was delicious but the veggies were overpowered with a strong garlic seasoning that I didn’t like. I always feel like even though steak is awesome it seems really overpriced. Our service was awesome!
After paying $175 my steak had no flavor and was dry, not really worth the money. Capitol Grill has much better steak
We always have a great dining experience at this restaurant. Go early and have a drink at the Level 8 bar to see a wonderful view of the city and if at the right time a glorious sunset.
Food was ok. Expected more. Great staff. Nice place, nothing memorable.
Shula's did a great job hosting my son's 21st birthday dinner; our waiter was fantastic, engaging, and did a super job keeping us on our toes with sports trivia (something my two sons challenged him to over and over). Food was excellent (as always), and cocktails were prepared to perfection. I did find my steak a tad overcooked, but that could have been because I stated that I wanted it "medium rare-ish" and it came out more on the medium side - I did not bring that to our waiter's attention as I made the error in ordering and the steak was still very good.
If you want a really really good dining experience (and that's what it's all about right?), try Shula's - great food, super staff, and memories are lasting.
