Forget the Tie, Dad wants Steak for Father's Day!

Waiter was excellent, but food was fair at best, soggy terrible looking grilled vegetables. Bay leaf left in my oily French onion. Soup. Very disappointing food, quality has gone way down.
Our waiter wasn’t very attentive. Some of the food was not cooked to our order(overdone). We couldn’t address it with our waiter because he never came back to our table. Then because we had a party of 9, we were charged a 21 percent gratuity. I have never been charged that much for such poor service.
Unfortunately we had a ad experience . The manager had our meals recooked, but they were still under par. There were 4 of us and we received our meals at different times. My husband was done by the time I was served. The manager was very accommodating and nice.
I really don’t know if we would come back or not.
The food was prepared perfectly. Nice bottle of wine. Portions were great. Although on the casual side, it was fine dining. We weren't there for the sports, but monitors were nicely placed.
Burger was good but way over cooked.

Fire alarm went off waitress did not come to tables to explain what happened. Food was barely warm. Steak was dry. Service not good
Steak was tough. Server said I should have ordered a better steak. Haha.
Not worth the money. Wife and I thought dessert was best part. Had the Apple Cobbler. Steaks way overcooked, and extremely salty. French onion soup had no flavor. For money, so many better options in area. Server was good though, so not all bad. Food could been spaced out better. Had 2 scoops of my soup and main course came out.
The waiter, Julian was excellent. He couldn’t have been more accommodating!!
Waitress was great, and very attentive. We were seated by the fireplace on a cold new year's eve, but it really didn't radiate much heat. I had the penne pasta with shrimp, which was delicious, while my wife had the overpriced but small catch of the day $31 swordfish, which was dry and didn't have much taste. That's what happens when you order fish in a steak house, I guess.
Food was satisfactory - service was slow
I think it was way to dark where we were seated . I would of rather been by fireplace or on that side where it was opened up. But other than that everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Food was cooked wonderfully. We were there for a Christmas party. First time there and we all will definitely be back.
Even though a vegetarian, I found a delicious veggie burger with a side of grilled squash and peppers . I also ordered a side of the grilled asparagus, also very tasty and perfectly cooked.
We were seated at the downtown view picture window.
There for Thanksgiving with Family. The buffet was great but one of my family members was insulted by a patron at the bar. The situation was handled with great aplomb by management. The authorities were notified and my family member’s dinner was complimentary. What class!
Checking in with completely disorganized but other than that everything was great and the service was very friendly and nice.

My steak and my colleague's steak were unremarkable and both under-cooked (how do you mess up two steaks?). They took them back to the kitchen to cook them some more. In a few minutes I had a slightly over-cooked steak and luke-warm vegetables.
I am a frequent visitor to Shula's but this trip may have made it my last. There was no hostess when we arrived, she had been delivering room service to the hotel attached. That was first indication this night was very understaffed. We chose to take a seat at the bar, one person behind bar for bartender, server, runner. Same employee we have seen numerous times, nice enough, but certainly not aware of the extended wait time to order, the dry mahi mahi delivered, the steak was fine ;), and the extended wait time to pay our bill. I can't recommend Shula's as it's not a seamless experience, nor a consistent meal. Sorry guys! not this time.
The restaurant was cold, a $38 Shula cut dinner was really rationed meaning I was served 5 asparagus and half big spoon of smashed potatoes. My wife got microwaved chicken Milanese, leaves and soggy cheese for 19 plus bucks. The waitress tried to make it right by giving us fries and an extra fudge lava cake for our anniversary. But on a 90 plus dollar bill. Its a never go again. Gave three stars, cause I'm being nice.
Service was terrible. No bread served and there was no heat on except the fireplace. My cell phone picked up 64 degrees in there. Loaded potato had only cheese on it with a side of sir cream? What's loAded about that?
Was a very nice evening. Not particularly a steak eater, but was extremely pleased with the minion medallions
Food was good, we had a free entree because of a birthday did not appreciate the 21% add on for service. I always pay 20% as long as the server is decent.
We were there to celebrate two birthdays. My wife asked if the restaurant did anything special for birthdays. One of the restaurant workers responded "yes, we give you a table". I took this as sarcastic. All they had to say was "sorry, we do not do anything for special occasions". I won't be returning.
Our server was excellent. Forgot his name but did an outstanding job and was very attentive and personable.
The blackened salmon and seared salmon, although a bit pricey @$30 / dinner, are amazing.
The roasted veggies were a great side.

The entire experience was depressing! 3 people at the bar and no one else in the restaurant except us on a Sunday evening. No waitress, just the bartender. My medium rare filet was served almost rare so I had to send it back. I should have gone to Delmonico's or Harry's Steakhouse. I will not be back
The food was fair but, both dinners were lukewarm at best and my mashed potatoes were actually cold. Charged $1 extra for 4 asparagus. I don't care about the $1, but is an additional charge of one whole dollar necessary when a side is switched? No bread or rolls offered - No salad included.The more I dine out, I'm seeing more and more of this which I don't agree with. I had a Groupon Voucher. The tip (18%) was automatically added into the bill. I don't agree with it and felt insulted! I believe the amount added to my bill was $10.08? I would have left a $15 cash tip had it not been already added in!
I live in between Akron and Canton, over 40 miles away. I don't mind driving at all. The food was O.K., but I don't think I would make that drive again for a return visit. Sorry!
Wanted a good steak dinner for my birthday and found it at Shula's 2. Much better than Blue Canyon we visited earlier and paid more. We will be back.
Probably the best burger I've had in a while. Good service and quiet enough to talk business over lunch.
I used groupon to go here. To start off I ordered draft beer it was very flat. My wife ordered sangria, that was flat awful. The food we a ordered was mediocre at best. The steaks I saw ordered did not look very appealing. I have been to Shula s in Florida and have had great meals not sure what's going on in Ohio
Everything was very good except the meals with chicken in it. The chicken in the salads and sandwiches were extremely dry, to the point of crumbling to the touch. The steaks were wonderful and the appetizers were fantastic.
Service was excellent. Food is a bit pricey considering it's location.

Steaks good, but a little salty with the optional topping. Smashed potatoes good, but lukewarm. Veggies grilled nicley. Had to ask for water and bread; the latter was delivered with the entres.
OK overall. Steak prices competitive for a high-end restaurant.
3 of us gals, outdoor patio seating, prompt service. Ordered Shula Steak sandwiches and upgraded to loaded baked for extra $1. can't go wrong with that.
Meeting my son's new mother-n-law to be for the first time. Great ambiance, food and service was fantastic!!

We are frequent visitors to this location. First time ordering Salmon - blackened - excellent. Will be back for this dish in particular! Tip: Most entrees they will tell you include two sides. If you order the daily veggie medley it's included. All other side dishes are an upcharge $1-$2. The standard price of a side is $6. Heads up the Asparagus side is only 4 stalks :) The loaded baked is a great potato. All in all, a nice dinner. Tip: Dining room is always very cold, bring a jacket even in the summer months :) Nice staff.
Pedestrian steak house -
Average food in traditional steak house decor - nothing to write home about. Menu includes non-steak items - that's a plus. Portions are reasonable, sides are good, service was excellent. Quiet restaurant, the "stay on the table" items could use a good cleaning -
