Went here for happy hour oysters! So delicious. We also had the crab Mac and cheese, steamed muscles, grilled asparagus and fries, all were excellent. Our server was very nice as well. Will definitely come back if in Seattle again.
We ate at Shuckers several times during our visit to Seattle. We also went for oyster happy hour twice. Prices are reasonable for Seattle. The service is excellent and the quality of food outstanding. This is one of our "go to" restaurants every time we come to the area. We can't say anything negative about the restaurant. Only positives every time we come!
Happy hour Oysters were great.
The calamari and popcorn shrimp are always a winner
Clam chowder good
Chanterelle mushroom and cheese appetizer is interesting. Mushrooms are warm, but cheese is served cold. Not a combination our table enjoyed. We would have preferred to have the cheese melted. Buttered toast was nice to mushrooms and cheese
Always buy happy hour by the glass as it is less than buying a bottle.
We are in Seattle every 3 months or so and will make sure we have dinner here before we leave. A small, quaint venue with great food and especially attentive wait staff. The main draw however will always be the oysters. So many choices and whether you have them raw on the half shell or cooked they are amazing. Always local and fresh.
Great place - excellent food and service. Hadn’t considered a hotel restaurant until now, but happy we did. Upscale food but casual and fun atmosphere.
Rachel's lunch was delicious & definitely worth $18. On March 9, it was trout stuffed with bread & bacon, au gratin potatoes and a spinach salad.
A friend and I went for lunch. I had the fish and chips, she had the Louie salad. The food was terrific -- large servings and tasty. The wait service could use some improvement however. I think this may be the first time I have ever been to a first-rate restaurant where the waiter (1) did not ask if we wanted anything other than water to drink and (2) did not ask whether we wanted dessert or coffee at the end of the meal.
Staff is great...Food excellent...and old Seattle landmark restaurant that is still there. worth the visit.
I love this restaurant. The oysters are always so fresh. The black cod delectable. The menu is varied and all that I have had on it outstanding. I come back here again and again.
We celebrated a big birthday for a family member and the restaurant made the occasion extra special and memorable. We will always remember the great food, desserts, and service from our special trip to Shuckers. Thank you to all of the staff. We really enjoyed our meal with you!
Delicious local seafood. Oysters are fresh. Variety of wines in a large range of prices. Excellent service. It got quite loud as the evening progressed Elegant dining room
Awesome pan fried oysters and fish and chips. Its still cold if you’re sitting anywhere near the door. They seriously need to address that issue.
I made reservations for my wife's birthday and asked for an alcove window for her and her older sister which she did receive. They had a very good lunch with good service but on my reservation, I noted it was her birthday and last year she was presented with a small slice of chocolate cake in recognition. This year no cake even though she mentioned her birthday while being served. I understand cost-cutting but this small token had special meaning last year.
All around a great dining experience. Superb!
Everything was perfect except it is hard to hold a conversation if you are sitting in the middle of the restaurant due to the noise level.
Wonderful food. Waitress was very knowledgeable and explained the beverages and dishes well.
Wonderful restaurant, as advertised, with terrific service. Definitely check out the Fish Board for fresh specials!
The appetizers were very good. We got the brussel sprouts and the mac&cheese. However, the Cod and Salmon were very bland.
Great atmosphere and good food. Restaurant very convenient for 5th Avenue Theater. Restaurant was crowded and we were seated about 25 minutes after our reservation. We were going to theater after dinner, but waiter quickly adjusted and we were finished and at the theater with 10 minutes to spare.
Simply fabulous! Very attentive wait staff served warm olives and bread followed by oysters on the half shell and chowder before the main course of fresh seafood -- the Black Cod was perhaps the best I've had. "Buttery" does not begin to give it justice. The clam linguini had so many clams it was unbelievable.
It was quite loud, and the table for 2 was a bit small. Otherwise the ambiance would have been a 5.
Walking distance to the Paramount and 5th Avenue Theaters. Shuckers is the perfect pre- or post- destination when attending Hamilton and/or Momma Mia!
Don't throw away your shot!
Nothing wrong Just not remarkable
Quality go to option when pressed
The food was wonderful. We loved the grilled octopus appetizer. Service was fast and attentive. Highly recommend.
Consistently excellent food and service!
First time at Shuckers. Love ambience upscale but casual. The food and service was excellent.
Exceptional steamed mussels, clam chowder and customer service
Wait staff especially our waiter was fantastic. Food was hot & delicous. Enjoyed ourselves
Excellent oyster bar and seafood. Had oysters as starter and moved on to a beautiful seared tuna. The wine selection is good, and there is an excellent bar, at least based on the chocolate martini for desert. Beautiful old wood carving and finishes.
Great food. Excellent service. Oyster bar is excellent. Worth the money.
Delicious seafood, especially the oysters! Whenever I am in Seattle, I come here for dinner and never disappointed. Since I travel by myself, I’m always greeted and asked if I would like to read a paper of which is a nice touch.
What a lovely place for me and my friend visiting seattle
We were in town for a business meeting and stopped at Shuckers because it was convenient to our hotel and recommended. We went back again the next night because the food and service was exceptional.
Fabulous food and attentive service made for a lovely experience. The oysters were to die for!
Terrific food and loved our server Christopher.
Love their seafood chowder. Best I’ve ever tasted! Great service. Delicious food. Can’t go wrong with Shuckers.
"SHUCKERS" was absolutely the best seafood we had in Seattle. My wife and I each chose items off the Daily Board and thanks to our server "Jim" determining our likes and dislikes we were not disappointed.
We’ve been to Schuckers many times and tonight it just seemed average. Greeting at door wasn’t overly warm, server wasn’t as sharp as previous experiences we’ve had and other than the raw oysters, which were fantastic, the rest of the meal was average at best. There’s a lot of good places to go in Seattle and we always have slotted a spot for Shuckers but I think the next time we are in town we will probably visit some other places and give than a try. I hope this isn’t a sign that Shuckers is slipping because we really liked it there in the past.
Our food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
The food is fresh, the presentation is attractive, and the service is attentive and friendly. Chris is a particularly fine server and a pleasure to deal with.
Awesome Sunday brunch before a Seahawks game - great food, our server was excellent, and the oysters were amazing.
Food was good , drinks were good, service was good
