This is one of the best restaurants ever. I've been dining here for 10 years and have always had an excellent meal with consistently excellent service. Jim is one of the best servers! And you must have the oysters! Sorry - I don't take food pictures.

The food was really good and my server was attentive, thoughtful and cool. However, I was told by someone that I could not enter through the street entrance and that I need to go through the hotel entrance. It would’ve been fine but I am still recovering from foot surgery and requires me to use a knee cycle to get around. Entering on the street would be been convenient but the hotel entrance required me to hop up 4 steps while someone carried my scooter for me. It’s fine for me since I’m able to hop, but if someone had a wheelchair I’m not sure how they would get in if there is someone restricting disabled people from using the street entrance. Maybe she didn’t think I fell under the disabled category. Regardless, my server was very good, food was very good, but I probably won’t be back because of the rude person that made me hop up the stairs.

We are frequent diners at Shuckers. The food and service are always excellent. We arrived a little frazzled due to bad traffic. Our server was very sympathetic and brought me an “emergency martini” forthwith. Service with a smile and a twinkle in the eye enhanced a very good meal. We love Shuckers!

The service was not good. Waited forever after initial greeting to order drinks. Then waited too long to receive drinks and place order. For those prices and ambience, we expected great service. Very disappointed. Food was good. Will go elsewhere next time.

An old favorite which has maintained top quality of service and food. Key item as to food; it was served piping hot. This included the French fries. Fish and chips are THE best. Salmon, outstanding. Olives are quite a selection. Cocktails, unlike the food, it's key to serve straight up drinks cold. They did. Service is very professional yet warm. Not shy on prices, but good value.

If you have a chance, go there
Best oysters on the half shell, calamari, popcorn shrimp, fish and chips, tater tots, berry cobbler with sour cream ice cream

One of my best meals ever. Their smoked oysters and crab mac and cheese was amazing. Great service, great atmosphere. My husband and I loved it.

I had the clam linguini, my companion had the salmon BLT -- lunch -- and both were delicious. The waiter was very attentive and, even though we didn't order desert, brought us bite-size pieces of the chocolate dessert. Delicious, and may make it more difficult to turn down the dessert menu the next time I go.

Service was excellent, Steve was waitperson.
Setting is cozy.
Pan fried oysters, quite bready.
Sides were very good.
$26 oyster plate seemed expensive, considering the quality.
Lots of better competition in Seattle!

Love their happy hour of $2 oysters with good selection. You cannot beat their selection, freshness and cost
We also love their popcorn shrimp and calamari. Had a dessert of blackberry and blueberry cobbler with sour cream ice cream, which was fantastic. Always love their servers, especially Mark, who we have gotten to know over our yearly visits to Seattle.

Went here for happy hour oysters! So delicious. We also had the crab Mac and cheese, steamed muscles, grilled asparagus and fries, all were excellent. Our server was very nice as well. Will definitely come back if in Seattle again.

We ate at Shuckers several times during our visit to Seattle. We also went for oyster happy hour twice. Prices are reasonable for Seattle. The service is excellent and the quality of food outstanding. This is one of our "go to" restaurants every time we come to the area. We can't say anything negative about the restaurant. Only positives every time we come!

Happy hour Oysters were great.
The calamari and popcorn shrimp are always a winner
Clam chowder good
Chanterelle mushroom and cheese appetizer is interesting. Mushrooms are warm, but cheese is served cold. Not a combination our table enjoyed. We would have preferred to have the cheese melted. Buttered toast was nice to mushrooms and cheese
Always buy happy hour by the glass as it is less than buying a bottle.

We are in Seattle every 3 months or so and will make sure we have dinner here before we leave. A small, quaint venue with great food and especially attentive wait staff. The main draw however will always be the oysters. So many choices and whether you have them raw on the half shell or cooked they are amazing. Always local and fresh.

A friend and I went for lunch. I had the fish and chips, she had the Louie salad. The food was terrific -- large servings and tasty. The wait service could use some improvement however. I think this may be the first time I have ever been to a first-rate restaurant where the waiter (1) did not ask if we wanted anything other than water to drink and (2) did not ask whether we wanted dessert or coffee at the end of the meal.

I made reservations for my wife's birthday and asked for an alcove window for her and her older sister which she did receive. They had a very good lunch with good service but on my reservation, I noted it was her birthday and last year she was presented with a small slice of chocolate cake in recognition. This year no cake even though she mentioned her birthday while being served. I understand cost-cutting but this small token had special meaning last year.

Simply fabulous! Very attentive wait staff served warm olives and bread followed by oysters on the half shell and chowder before the main course of fresh seafood -- the Black Cod was perhaps the best I've had. "Buttery" does not begin to give it justice. The clam linguini had so many clams it was unbelievable.

It was quite loud, and the table for 2 was a bit small. Otherwise the ambiance would have been a 5.

Walking distance to the Paramount and 5th Avenue Theaters. Shuckers is the perfect pre- or post- destination when attending Hamilton and/or Momma Mia!

Don't throw away your shot!
