Menu is very limited. Quite expensive.
The menu was very limited. Great atmosphere but the food was just ok.
As a regular customer to shuckers (pre- COVID) our experience was a huge disappointment. The service was amazing - but the food was bland , prices egregious, and the menu limited. $50 for 3 seared scallops- and charged for mediocre bread - spent nearly $200 on a meal that could get at Duke’s for half the cost. I think they need to figure out their identity and won’t be back until they do.
Shuckers is an outstanding restaurant, well worth a visit—or many. And while I’m sure other staff are great, my personal experience with Darla was one of truly exceptional customer service.
Shuckers food and service are Exceptional !!! We have been there multiple times and have always enjoyed Shuckers very much !!!
If you like oysters, this is the place to go in Seattle.
Intimate but busy restaurant with excellent service--thanks to the staff that greeted us and to our server, Kevin! Pricey but the amount of food included was worth it. Made for a memorable Thanksgiving!
Wonderful thanksgiving meal!
We always love dinner there. They are very nice and the food is consistently great.
Very good seafood and burgers. Solid wine list. Excellent service.
Food excellent. Service by kevin not as good as Jim. No boggy, but he asked if we wanted bread, we responded yes, bread plates removed to make room, bread forgotten? Wine pour a bit light.
Everything at Shuckers was wonderful - it had great ambiance without being dark, we were seated quickly and our servers were friendly and fun without making everything too casual. Struck a great balance between a high-quality meal without a lot of fuss. The clam chowder was excellent, salmon, fish and chips were perfection.
Always an excellent experience, service, ambience food.
Our waiter took an hour and a half to take our food order and we had to hunt him down for our food then our check. Food was amazing but our waiter was just a space cadet.
Very positive. We were accommodated at the time and table requested. The service was outstanding. Thank you Jim. Good to see you again.
Brent is an awesome bartender and dude!
Menu has been simplified/more limited and only one type of oysters available, but were of high quality and delicious and fresh. King salmon and burger was great. Service was excellent. Staff reports that they look forward to an expanded menu as business and staff ramps up. Love the cluby/old style atmosphere with the wood paneling and great cocktails which is one of the reasons to come here: take your time, drink and relax and eat good food esp seafood and oysters, , though steaks x 2 and burger available and is excellent if some of party want beef.
Limited menu but very delicious food. Very nice ambiance. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time interacting with the bartender.
Great food, service and ambiance
Wonderful experience! Awesome oysters, scallops, and salmon!
Great food, great service and great venue! A must try for date night.
Friendly staff, delicious food, and a upscale yet unpretentious atmosphere. I loved eating here. My waitress, Darla, is such a doll….just as sweet as can be. She recommended things and was right every time. The Cioppino was out of this world and they had a Dungeness crab cocktail that was amazing! I had the Olympic Mule cocktail, which was delicious and refreshing. I’ll definitely be back!
We were entertaining a guest who was visiting from the Finnish embasy in Washington DC. He was very impressed with the entire surrounding and truly enjoyed his dinner. We were all extremely pleased.
Cool ambience, great food. Really excellent service.
Crowded as usual and loud. Menu very limited compared to the past. Slow service. Limited wine by the glass offerings. So different compared to previous visits. Very disappointed. Won’t return anytime soon.
The online menu items looked enticing and did not disappoint. I started with a dozen oysters which were succulent and briny with the flavor of the Pacific Ocean. I continued with the king salmon. It was served on a medley of vegetables and was flavorful and perfectly cooked. A glass of Remy Martin VSOP capped off my meal. The service was attentive but not overbearing.
I recommend Shuckers for anyone who is in Seattle for business or pleasure. It is an excellent choice for a fine meal of Pacific Northwest delicacies.
Breading on the fish and chips a bit too heavy. Fries--very good.
Loved the waiter. Very attentive
Ambiance was great
Shuckers has an old fashioned style resturant, with good valued food. Like the ribeye and fresh oyster most. Highly recommended to give it a try!
The menu is limited but does offer a decent variety. My husband and I shared the clam chowder, crab louie and roasted halibut. The service , food and ambience was above average and exactly what we expected. My husband described the service as superb and I agree.
Fairly tasteless overcooked steak. Crab Louie…ok nothing special except the undisclosed price.. $39😱. If we didn’t have $100 resort credit I would have been extremely disappointed. Instead just never coming back.
A really nice dinner overall! The restaurant was quiet. Service was very good. The menu was somewhat limited, but I sense that is a result of covid. We were all pleased with our meals. Thanks!
Crab cakes were really good as were the sautéed mushrooms. Overall a very good meal.
The food and drinks were delicious and the service prompt and personal.
Shuckers was recommended by a friend while we were
Visiting Seattle. Loved everything about the place! Great location, attentive service, great food and drinks! In social that night was seared scallops on mashed potatoes or polenta. Perfect in every way!
A definite whether you are looking for a night out or something special. You will not be disappointed!
I was a little nervous when we got there for a 6:00 reservation and there was on 2 tables seated, but the food was absolutely amazing! Everything cooked perfectly and it was delicious!
We went here because from afar, and only days beforehand, we found other restaurants were booked! We didn’t realize that the restaurant was part of a large hotel, but it was very busy. A waiter rushed over because the host was not around. It was nice that he responded so quickly, but he he was hesitant with finding our reservation, and never checked it in with Open Table. Fortunately, a hand-slap from Open Table prompted me to rectify that, although it was not easy to figure out how to do so. But they did and within an hour.
The place is popular on a Saturday night. The menu is really minimal and the scallops, wine, and filet were out of our price line after a busy day when we were too tired to enjoy spending $200 or more. So my husband had the fish and chips at about $26 and I had the most delicious bowl of assorted mushrooms and a sourdough boule. Wow! ($12 and $5). We had a local craft beer and cider. A very reasonable, filling and delicious dinner!
I will say that I checked anniversary as special occasion, I think. We were seated at the least desirable table of the two open. There was a cute and cozy window table that we weren’t given.
Okay experience, you have to pay for bread, menu is limited and the prices are not reflective of the meal. Waiter was rushed and did not spend any time with us.
Waiter not the best, portions larger than we remembered, menu limited…and very noisy
Superior seafood, outstanding service, wonderful dining experience!
