Food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
This place was an unexpected and delightful surprise. A little hard to find (extra directions about getting into the complex through gates would be helpful on Open Table), but worth the effort. Every member of our party was completely satisfied with our food and the staff was very friendly. I had the best filet mignon I've had in years and we all raved about the spinach crab meat dip appetizer. The chocolate chip cookie skillet dessert was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We would definitely visit again next time we're in the Orlando area!
The service was excelent as well as the food. Nice view to the pool area.
This is a very clean and pretty restaurant. Our waitress Jesse was awesome! She is friendly and helpful with the menu. I had the Mahi and it was delicious and fresh. The homemade blue cheese dressing is fantastic. We had the cheese cake for dessert and I highly recommend it. My husband is gluten free and there was plenty to pick from and they have gluten free buns. If you have children I recommend sitting outside and getting them a pizza. You can come here with children or as a date with your sweetie. We will be back in August, God willing.
WOW, I am so glad that we found this lovely restaurant with the greatest waitress and barmaid ever. Perfect drinks, food (delicious), atmosphere (comfortable) and price just right for the large portions. Do yourself a favor and try this place once and you will keep going back.
A hidden gem. Slow night, we were the only group in the place. Food was great as was the service. Kind of a funky feel with no one else in the place. Would book it again.
Great service!!! Our waitress was phenomenal and atentative. Food was cooked to order and fast!
Jess, the bartender and server, made the evening. She was spectacular. Fun, entertaining, and informative. She's a keeper.
Our server was excellent and food arrived promptly but fine dining this isn't. It's the bar/restaurant to a timeshare resort. Fine for a quick bite to eat but you get far better quality food for a similar or lesser price just a short drive away.
The atmosphere inside is quiet. Outside, you are pool side, so it's noisy/busy. We requested outside seating, because it was a nice night. Dirty tables and floor from continued use during the day. Not much consideration given to keeping the area clean. One table with lounge seating had a bucket of empty beer bottles scattered all over the table. No one sitting there. No one cleaned during the time we were there. Food is a bit pricey. Two small crab cakes is 21.00. Fried catfish is 15.99. Both were good, but not seasoned all that well. Two appetizers, spicy chicken bites and the crab/spinach dip were good. Dip was actually VERY tasty. They just don't give you enough chips and bread for the amount of dip they provide. The restaurant was not busy, and we did not need the Open Table reservation. Only two people working, that I could tell, and if both are trying to wait tables and fill pool drink orders, there is a bit of a wait for food and drinks. It's okay. I had a Groupon that I used, and it made it worth my time to go. If I had not had the Groupon, I would have been disappointed.
Everything we ordered was awesome. My steak was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return.
Everything was great. Crankcase were really good and service was top notch. You must order a Vicky love crafted drink.
Nice Resturant but not many patrons and ambiance not great. Overall a very good meal.
PURCHASED A GROUPON. THIS RESTURANT IS IN THE LOBBY OF THE HOTEL. THERE WERE JUST A FEW PEOPLE AT THE BAR EATING WHEN WE ARRIVED. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTURANT WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED .
Great ambience, super friendly service and excellent food. And they created a private dining area for us outside!
Our family of 8 had a great time with our server Jessie and so nice to see rest of staff pitch in. Food was delicious. 72 hour chicken was excellent.
Food was excellent
Service was great
Great good and service. Their house chicken platter is really delicious. The desserts everyone tried were yummy.
Food was good but extremely slow. Made reservations on open table and there was a private party taking place so no waitin for a seat. Wait staff was great and apologetic for the inconvenience, but much better options exist.
We were one of two tables dining in the restaurant and service was slow. The prices were high for what you were served. I ordered the Mediterranean pasta because I read rave reviews.....well, it was a very small portion. Come on....Noodles are cheap. Supposed to have goat cheese and it had 3 small pieces. My daughter liked her crab burger.
Fourth time here and have loved it every time. Definitely a resort atmosphere! Had the pasta with chicken and it was perfect. 3 others dined with me and were also very happy with their meals and the atmosphere!! All were happy with this choice for Mother's Day dinner!!
Staff were very helpful and the food was fantastic, it was a lovely end to our holiday.
We found Shubee's on the last day of our vacation...can't wait until we visit again next year to enjoy the food...
From the description, picture and menu you would think this place would be great. That is not necessarily the case. First off it's in a gated community which threw me off. Besides that it is the hub of time share sales. Next the service is slow and food only adequate. This should be considered a 2 star in any book. Unless you live there, then maybe a 2.5.
The place was no more than 25% full but it took forever for our food to come, When it finally arrived it ranged in temperature from lukewarm to cold. Skip it.
An oasis from all the bad chain restaurants. Good food and personalized service
Don't judge book by its cover. We had a delicious dinner and Jennifer was a gracious kind hostess.
The ambiance of the restaurant is relatively obscure being located in a condo complex but the food is absolutely excellent. The lighting is bright and the interior is plain enough that you will get no sense of the excellent meal that lays ahead.
My crab cakes exceeded anything I had in Maryland and the vegetables and sweet potato just blew this foodie away.
I hope the restaurant somehow can make a greater presence as it deserves to do very well.
My impression is that we visited very much in the off season. We showed up to find that the restaurant was inside a gated resort community- it was no problem getting in, just needed to let the attendant know we had a reservation. When we walked in there was just one other party in the restaurant. The food was tasty although there were some unexpected substitutions - my daughter's "Fried chicken and waffle bites" turned out to be crispy chicken nuggets and fries. (Not that she minded!). I recommend the crab cakes. All told we had a decent meal in a pleasant place, but it's not somewhere we would go back to.
Relaxed atmosphere, comfortable, clean, newish restaurant at beautiful Regal Oaks resort with pool view. Friendly helpful service. Small but varied and innovative menu. For starters we had the crab soup and caesar salad. both were delicious. My Mahi mahi with fresh broccoli and sweet potato sides was an excellent choice. Broccoli was cooked to perfection. Hubby's catfish with waffle fries were just okay. Portions were generous, so no room for dessert. Will definitely return .
The pictures are misleading as you do not actually get what you see. This is a simple hotel restaurant. Nothing special
Went in for the first time for lunch, Amber waited on us. She was extremely nice and helped make for a great lunch, food was great. Very classy looking place right outside Celebration Fl.
The place is out of the way as you have to go through security. The food portions are on the small side for Orlando which was great for us. The food was surprisingly good. I would have given 4 stars except my sweet potato, their signature side dish, was way under cooked. I had the Mussel Beach which was great. Suggest they have proper forks for mussels if they're going to have it on the menu.
Relaxed casual atmosphere with fresh seafood dishes. Excellent service.
this place has a couple of things going for it...the friendly service and relatively OK prices. No ambiance, mediocre food (except the catfish platter where the fish was not fully cooked) and a feeling of fast food preparation.
Found this place through opentable. You do have to have security let you in as it is a gated resort. It was dead when we arrived so I was nervous however we had great prompt service and an excellent meal. I ordered the coastal and it was excellent. My husband had the coconut shrimp as a meal and they were yummy as well. Kids had chicken fingers and a burger that did not disappoint. My only complaint is that the place was super quiet and just not the typical ambiance that we would have liked or expected on a Saturday night.
Each of the four dishes my wife and I had were excellent. We started with the coconut shrimp which were tender and crispy. Next was a hot bowl of creamy blue cream soup that was replete with lump crab pieces. My wife and I then shared a fresh wahoo served with pineapple sauce and agave roasted sweet potato. Delicious! The closer was a warm brownie sundae. It was yummy. I would definitely recommend Shubee's to other diners.
The food was fabulous. Had the Kansas City bone-in rib eye and the dry rub gave it a flavor to put it over the top. First time for agave roasted sweet potatoes, but it won't be the last, great flavor.
